Step 1
Make sure that your SIM card is active
Contact your service provider to make sure your SIM card
has been activated.
Contact your service provider if you have problems with
your SIM card.
Step 2 Installing the Battery
-To remove battery cover, push down and slide.
-Slide SIM card in with gold contact facing down.
Step 3 Inserting and charging the battery

-Insert the battery at an angle with the gold contacts to
the bottom, to the gold contacts in the battery
compartment and press down. Slide cover to closed
position with a ‘click’.
-Insert the charger cable in the socket on the underside
of the handset.During charging: Bars move on display.
Full battery: Bars are solid. (Charge battery for at least
4 hours before making/receiving first call!)
Step 4 Turning on the Phone
Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds until you
hear the phone’s start up chime, the device turns on, and the
screen and keypad light up, then release.
Step 5 Set Time and Date
• Scroll UP 2 times using until you reach the Settings
menu, then press OK .
• Scroll DOWN 4 times then press
• Use the # to select either AM/PM.
• Scroll DOWN 1 time to enter time using the keypad.
• Scroll DOWN 1 time to enter the date using the keypad
and press to save.
• Date format (MM,DD,YYYY) Month, Date, Year.

Step 6 Set up Voicemail (only necessary if you using a
newly activated SIM card)
Hold down the #1 key for 3 seconds until the Voicemail is
dialed, listen to and follow the instructions given by your
service provider to set up Voicemail and record your
personal greeting. *Please contact your service provider for
questions concerning your voicemail.
Step 7 Add a New Contact
• Scroll UP 1 time until you reach the PhoneBook menu.
Step 8 Set up SOS Button
• Scroll UP 2 times using until you reach Settings menu.
• Scroll UP 4 times using until you reach SOS Settings
menu.
(This menu is for customizing how you use this feature.)
Scroll to select• SOS Button - turn ON/OFF the SOS
button.• SOS Siren - turn ON/OFF
• SOS Number - Press OK to edit 1 of 4 numbers to be set as
emergency contacts.
(These numbers must first be added to the phonebook
contacts see Step #7)
SOS Message - Pressthe keypad. Press OK to customize
message using OK to save. (This message comes formatted
to say “Emergency, please help!”)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
• What service providers will work with Snapfon?
This is a quad band GSM phone, that uses these
frequencies GSM 850/900/1800/1900. You must use an
unlocked SIM card from a service provider that operates with
these frequencies. Snapfon will not work with CDMA
service providers.• Screen shows “No SIM card!“: Check
the direction of the SIM card (Gold contact facing
downwards)• A call failed: Check the selected telephone
number and area code again for accuracy (area code
entered?)• The mobile telephone display is blank/black:
Telephone is in energy saving mode: press any key. Or it is
switched off - Hold for 5 seconds to switch on.• The
mobile phone does not react:Remove battery, Re-insert
and switch device on. If there is still no reaction, refer to the
service center.• The charging procedure does
notbegin: This can take several minutes. If there is no
function after 10 minutes, contact sales agent or
manufacturer.• What is the point size of the screen
font?The point size of the font is 28 points.• What is the
point size of the contact list?The contact list uses a 16
point font.• How many contacts does the phone
hold?The phone memory can hold 200 contacts, however
the phone uses the contacts stored on the SIM card which
also holds 200 contacts, The benefit of the phone storage is
that you can copy your contacts to the phone so if you
decide to switch carriers in the future, you can copy the
contacts from the phone to the SIM card with the new
service.
• What are the size of the keys on the Snapfon?
The number keys are 5/8 inch square.

WARRANTY & RETURNS
The Snapfon ez ONE, is warranted against defect,
malfunction, and product failure for one yearfrom the date
of purchase. The warranty covers problems or defects that
are a result of normal usage. The accessories are warranted
to be free from malfunction or defects for 90 days.
This warranty does not apply to damage done to the phone
by shipping, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or exposure
to any type of moisture. The phone should be disconnected
from its charger during thunderstorms, or events that can
cause power surges. It is not warranted against damage
from voltage fluctuations. The battery is not covered under
this warranty, due to its expendable nature. The battery is
guaranteed to be functioning at time of purchase only. The
phone warranty is void if batteries other than Snapfon
authorized or recommended batteries have been used. If a
problem develops
due to a third party battery, or charging adapter please
contact the manufacturer of that accessoryfor redress or
compensation. If a problem develops during the warranty
period, please contact us and we will either repair or replace
it with a new/refurbished unit, or issue a refund. If we choose
to refund your purchase it may be prorated based on use
and condition of the returned merchandise.
The shipping charges for returning a working phone to you
are covered by the warranty. The product should be returned
with all the accessories, with clear return shipping

instructions that include your address, phone number, and a
detailed description of the reason for the return.
All returns must be approved prior to shipment, and an
RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number
should be present on the package or the shipment may
be refused. Warranty approval and RMA’s can be
requested via email, or telephone.
Non-Defective Returns:The product must be returned
within 30 days of purchase, in exactly the condition it
was received, “AS NEW,” with 100% of all shipping,
packing, parts, accessories, manuals, etc. in order to be
considered for a refund. There will be a minimum
restocking fee of 25% applied to all returns that are not
received in “AS NEW” condition.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Switch off mobile telephone in hospitals or near medical
devices. There should be a minimal distance between
pacemakers and switched-on telephones. Do not operate a
vehicle while holding a mobile phone in your hand. Follow
the laws and traffic rules of the country you are in. The
mobile phone is to be switched off while you are in an
airplane. The telephone is to be switched off near gas
stations or other areas with explosive materials. Never shine
the LED- flashlight into the eyes of humans or animals!

INTENDED USE
This mobile telephone is durable and intended for mobile
use. It is to be protected from moisture and impacts. Do not
expose to prolonged direct sunlight. Improper use may lead

to damage of product and could be associated with hazards
such as electrical shock or fire. The entire product may not
be altered or rebuilt, nor may the housing be opened. The
power adapter is designed for use in household wall outlets
with public electricity grids of 100-240 VAC - 50/60 Hz.
RF Exposure Information and Statement
The SAR limit of USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one
gram of tissue. Device types ez TWO-A (FCC ID:
ZXLEZTWOA) has also been tested against this SAR limit.
The highest SAR value reported under this standard during
product certification for use at the ear is 0.428W/kg and
when properly worn on the body is 1.4W/kg. This device was
tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the
handset kept 1.5cm from the body. To maintain compliance
with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that
maintain a 1.5cm separation distance between the user's
body and the back of the handset. The use of belt clips,
holsters and similar accessories should not contain metallic
components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do
not satisfy these requirements may not comply with FCC RF
exposure requirements, and should be avoided.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this
device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this
device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
NOTE: The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or

equipment. Such modifications could void the user’s
authority to operate the equipment.

DISPOSAL
Disposal of packaging: Packaging and packaging aids are
recyclable and should be entered into the recycling process.
Battery disposal: Batteries do not belong in the household
trash! As a consumer, you are obligated to return used
batteries. These can be handed into local collection areas or
to specialty shops.
Device Disposal: When this product is eventually taken out
of service, please do not dispose in the household trash.
Take care of the environment by bringing it to a collection
area where old devices are accepted and brought into an
environmentally friendly disposal/ recycling procedure.
