Rotate
In most applications, rotating the handset
automatically changes Display orientation.
USIM PINs
PIN
A four- to eight-digit code to prevent
unauthorized use.
• 9999 by default.
PIN2
PIN2 provides authentication for online
services.
PUK Code
Entering PIN/PIN2 incorrectly three
times activates PIN/PIN2 Lock. Enter PUK
(Personal Unblocking Key) to unlock.

• Handset is disabled until update is
complete.
• Make sure you back up important
information and data (note that some
files cannot be copied) before you start
updating handset. SoftBank is not liable
for damages resulting from loss of data,
information, etc.
• Do not remove battery/USIM Card or
power off handset during the update.
This will cause the update to fail.
• Software update failure may disable
handset. If handset is disabled, contact
SoftBank Mobile Customer Center (P. 28).
• The System updates function is unavailable
from handset.
