GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
This appliance is for household use only.
To protect against risk of electrical shock do not immerse unit in water or other liquid.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Unplug cord from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing & other utensils, away from beaters
during operation to prevent injury and/or damage to the mixer.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug or after the appliance malfunctions
or has been damaged in any manner. Take the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility
for examination, repair, electrical or mechanical adjustment.
The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
Do not use outdoors. If you try mixing heavy ingredients the motor will burn out
and your warrantee will not apply.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
Remove beaters from mixer before washing.
The hook with washer must be inserted into the left opening.
Do not use the beaters to mix hard ingredients such as frozen butter or dough.
Never wash the motor housing in water, if the mixer is accidentally immersed do not try to reach it;
unplug immediately and take to revision at authorized workshop.
Do not use the mixer for long time continuously because the motor can overheat.
Do not use it longer than 3 minutes.
Use the mixer only for its designed purpose.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not use lubricants for the hand mixer.

USING THE HAND MIXER
Before handling the beaters, make sure the mixer is unplugged from an electrical outlet
and the speed control switch is in the “OFF” position.
Insert the beaters by grasping the mixer handle with one hand and the beater stem with the other hand.
Insert the beater stem into the opening, rotating slightly until it looks into place.
Repeat to attach the other beater.
Plug the cord into a standard electrical outlet.
Place the ingredients into a bowl, grip the mixer handle, and position the beaters in the
center of the food to be mixed.
Select the speed setting that matches your mixing task.
Guide the beaters continuously through the mix for uniform mixing.
Whenever you wish to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl using a hand-held utensil,
first move the speed control switch to the “off” position, then place the mixer on the
heel rest so that the beaters can drain into the bowl.

CARE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning any part of the mixer, move the speed control switch to the off position.
Then, unplug the cord from the outlet and eject the beaters.
The beaters may be washed in hot, sudsy water or in a dishwasher.
The mixer and the cord can be cleaned with damp cloth.
To remove stubborn spots, wipe surfaces with a cloth slightly dampened in sudsy water or a mild,
nonabrasive clear. Follow with a clean, damp cloth.
Do not use chemical product such as benzene, thinner or alcohol, because they may damage the cover.
Do not use only abrasive cleanser or material to clean any part of the mixer, as it can harm the finish.
Be sure to dry all parts thoroughly before you use then again.

SPEED CONTROL
The hand mixer has five different speeds. It is recommended to start at the lowest one
and then move up by steps to the one as per your requirement:

Use
To blend in our/dry ingredients and liquids
for batters and cookie dough; to steer nuts,
chips, raisins into heavy cookie dough like
oatmeal and chocolate chip.
To mix thin batters such as mufns, wafes,
pancakes and quick breads;
to prepare sauces, puddings.
To cream butter and sugar; to beat eggs into
batters and cookie dough; to prepare cake
mixes specifying medium speed; to mix cake
batters like and frostings
To beat whole eggs, frozen desserts;
to mix light batters like popovers.
To whip cream, beat egg whites,
mash potatoes and other vegetables
like turnips and squash.

WARRANTY CARD FOR SOLIMO ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
Cloudtail India Private Limited (“Cloudtail” or “we” or “us”), upon your acceptance of terms and
conditions as set out below, provides this warranty (“Warranty”) to the end user purchaser (“you” or
“your”), that the Solimo Electrical Appliance (“Product”) will be free from manufacturing defects and will
be fit for normal use in accordance with the user manual provided with the product:
1. This Warranty shall be valid for a period of 12 months, commencing on date of your purchase of
the Product (“Warranty Period”):
2. This Warranty is limited to the damage arising to the Product due to manufacturing defects during
the Warranty Period and does not apply, if:
a. the Product is not operated as per the instructions given under the user manual provided with
the Product;
b. any damage is caused by lightning, abnormal voltage, water or any other liquid intrusion, fire,
flood, accident, negligence or improper handling;
c. Product has been damaged during installation, repairs, alterations or modifications by
unauthorized service organizations or person(s);
d. Product label specifying the model number, serial number and production code has been
removed or altered;
e. defects occurring or parts requiring replacement due to ordinary wear and tear, corrosion, rust
or stains, scratches, dents on the casing or paintwork of the Product;
f. claims for damaged and/or missing parts (accessories) are raised after 7 days from the original
date of goods received;
g. defects or faults in Product which have been used for commercial/industrial purposes or which
have been rented/leased or have been otherwise subject to non-household/non-domestic use.
3. Cloudtail’s decision will be final with respect to nature of defect and applicability of Warranty.
4. In case of any damage due to manufacturing defects in the Product during Warranty Period,
Cloudtail will be responsible for repair or replacement of the Product. However, Cloudtail makes
no assurance, representation or warranty that any replacement Product will be identical or similar
to the Product you purchased. Transportation cost of the defective and replacement Product and
all costs associated with repair of the damages to fabric and comfort layers will be paid by you.
5. Cloudtail reserves the right to vary, modify or change the terms and conditions herein due to
change(s) in availability of services, Products and/or spare parts or for the purposes of complying
with applicable policies, rules, regulations and law, with or without notice. Cloudtail shall not,
under any circumstance, whether as a result of breach of contract or warranty, tort, or otherwise,
be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits or revenues
or any other costs or damages. This Warranty shall not in any manner extend to personal injury
and/ or death caused by the user's own negligence or omissions. To the maximum extent
permitted by applicable laws, the remedies in this Warranty are your sole and exclusive remedies
and Cloudtail’s total liability, arising out of, relating to or arising out of your purchase or use of
Product or damage thereto, regardless of the type or cause of such damage or the
characterization of the claim asserted (whether in contract or tort), shall not under any
circumstances exceed the Product’s purchase price as on the invoice. This Warranty does not

cover minor imperfections in the Product that broadly meet design specifications, or
imperfections that do not materially alter the Product’s functionality. You are required to satisfy
yourself regarding the suitability of the Product before making any purchase. Cloudtail does not
make any representation or warranty as to the suitability of the Product for any particular use.
6. This Warranty shall be governed by laws of India and all claims arising from this Warranty shall be
subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
7. While we assure you that the Products are of high-quality which have gone through a detailed
quality testing protocols, however, if you do discover any manufacturing defect in the Product
during the Warranty Period, please contact our customer care at the details provided below, with
the invoice and Product details, who will assist you with the warranty claim process. Our invoice
will be sufficient to initiate your Warranty claim process and registration of Product, dealer
signature and stamp are not required.
