C. Cover plate extends beyond chassis to provide a clean, nished look
• Optional mounting capability for on-wall or in-wall installations when tight width
restrictions are required for structured wiring congurations

AF12
The AF12 Impedance Matching
System connects up to 12 pairs of
8-ohm speakers, and is specifically
designed for high-end audio distri-
bution. Three independent steel
assembly hardware components
(chassis, sub-chassis and cover
plate) and Screwless Quick Connec-
tors make for an easy and rapid
installation. This device has
optional mounting capabilities for
on-wall of in-wall installations,
making the AF12 an ideal solution
when tight width restrictions are
required for structured wiring
configurations.
Easily adjustable output taps can
be manually set to the proper
speaker system impedance load
(from 2/3-ohm to 4-ohm) and
support power levels from 50 to
200W RMS/channel to protect the
amplifier or receiver from
extremely low impedance loads.
The AF12 has separate left and
right ground paths for compatibil-
ity with all amps, even in bridged
mode. Heavy-duty printed circuit
boards with robust traces provide
reliable and safe operation. Termi-
nals accept up to 14-gauge wire.
