SonicWall®NSsp 12000 Rail Kit
Installation for Rack Mounting
This document provides illustrated rack mounting instructions for your
SonicWall NSsp 12000 network security appliance.
To install the rack mounting kit for the SonicWall NSsp 12000,
complete the following steps:
1 Assemble the slide rail.
2 Extend the slide rails.
3 Remove the chassis member from the slide rails.
4 Assemble the chassis rails using four (4) M4 screws and washers.
5 Mount the chassis rails to the chassis with eight (8) M4 screws.
6 Attach the bracket to the rails by inserting the barb into the square
hole.
7 Put the plastic inserts into the square holes to secure the rails.
8 Install the chassis by sliding it into the frame.
9 Press the lever down to release the slide.

NOTE: The brackets should be centered within the 4U rack space.

4 Assemblez les rails du châssis à l'aide de quatre (4) vis M4 et de
quatre rondelles.
5 Montez les rails de châssis sur le châssis à l'aide de huit (8) vis M4.
6 Fixez l'équerre aux rails en insérant l'extrémité dans le trou carré.
7 Insérez les embouts en plastique dans les trous carrés pour fixer les
rails en place.
8 Installez le châssis en le faisant glisser dans le bâti.
9 Abaissez le levier pour dégager la glissière.

Um die Rack-Montage-Kit zu installieren, führen Sie folgende
Schritte:
1 Setzen Sie die Gleitschiene.
2 Verlängern Sie die Laufschienen.
3 Entfernen Sie die Gehäuse Mitglied von den Führungsschienen.
4 Montieren Sie die Gehäuseschienen mit vier (4) M4-Schrauben
und Unterlegscheiben.
5 Montieren Sie die Gehäuseschienen am Chassis mit acht (8) M4-
Schrauben.
6 Befestigen Sie die Halterung auf die Schiene, indem Sie die
Widerhaken in die quadratische Öffnung.
7 Setzen Sie die Kunststoff-Einsätze in die quadratischen Löcher um
die Schienen zu sichern.
8 Installieren Sie das Chassis, indem man es in den Rahmen.
9 Drücken Sie den Hebel bis Version der Folie.

This rail kit is for use only with SonicWall appliances indicated below.
Use of this rail kit with a SonicWall appliance that is not approved will
void the warranty for that appliance. This rail kit is provided as a
