IT-A2500
model
has
been
approved
by
the
Federal
Communications
Commission
(FCC)
as
not
being
harmful
to
the
telephone
network
when
connected
directly
to
the
telephone
lines.
In
order
to
fully
comply
with
the
Rules
of
the
FCC,
the
following
instructions
should
be
read
carefully
and
followed
completely
where
applicable:

The
FCC
Rules
require
that
all
direct
connection
to
the
telephone
fines
must
be
made
through
standard
plugs
and
jacks
as
called
out
in
the
Rules.
No
connection
can
be
made
to
party
lines
or
coin
lines.

Upon
request
from
your
telephone
company,
you
must
provide
the

digit
FCC
Registration
Number
and
Ringer
Equivalence
Number
(REN),
both
of
which
are
on
a
label
located
on
the
outer
surface
of
your
telephone.

local

the
jack
(connector)
required
for
your
device

USOC
RJTIC.

After
the
telephone
company
has
installed
the
jack
listed
above,
you can
connect
your
IT-A2500
model
by
inserting

mating

SERVICE

all
repairs
will
be
performed
by
an
authorized
Sony
service
representative.
‘This
equipment
has
been
registered
with
the
FCC
for
direct
connection
to
the
telephone
network.
Under
the FCC
Program,
no
customer
is
authorized
to
repair
this
equipment.
This
applies
to
equipment
both
in
and
out
of
warranty.
If
such
unauthorized
repair

the

mode
The
RINGER
SELECT
switch allows
you
to
vary
the
number
of
rings
before
the
phone
answers
to
take
a
message.
