Color Coded Speaker Connections Connecting a 5.1 channel surround system requires no less than SIX
connections from the receiver to the speakers (Front L/R, Center, Rear L/R, Sub). With color-coded
connections, simply match green with green, etc., to finish connecting a full 5.1 channel surround system.
Digital Input Due to the popularity of transportable Dolby Digital® and dts® products with digital optical
outputs, the ability to easily hook these products up quickly is a great benefit.
Progressive Scan DVD discs are all encoded in Progressive, Interlaced DVD players down convert the 480
progressive software to 480 progressive software to 480 interlaced to be watched on basic NTSC (non
Hi-Scan®) TV set.
