The new 1,500 lumens VPL-EX5U incorporates the new-
est 0.63 inch BrightEra inorganic 3-LCD panels by Sony.
This unique system minimises degradation of colours
over time, achieves higher brightness and sharper images
in even well-lit rooms - and delivers exceptional reliability
and longevity.
This Education model, the VPL-EX5U’s 1,500 lumens,
900:1 high contrast ratio, XGA resolution presents pin
sharp PC presentations for screens and interactive white-
boards and colour-rich video/film replication. The stylish,
practical design includes a built-in tilt angle of 8 degrees
that automatically produces perfectly proportioned im-
ages; height adjustment and controls are simple to use
and easy to get to.

Short-throw projection
Achieve a pin-sharp 80 inch image (diagonal) from just
2.3m away, ideal for small meeting rooms, classrooms
and home use.
3-LDC BrightEra technology
Sony’s newest 0.63 inch BrightEra inorganic 3-LCD pan-
els deliver improved panel light resistance, higher resolu-
tion, high brightness and increased panel reliability.
Built-in optical shift
A built-in 8 degree tilt angle ensures images are automat-
ically square when projected on the screen or wall.
Easy setup and operation
The VPL-EX5U offers a variety of features, which make
set-up and operation quick and smart.

Delivers highly accurate gamma correction to reproduce

cable and security bar can all help to prevent misuse,
