定期的に点検する
設置時や1年に1度は、電源コードに傷みがないか、コン

ラグがしっかり差し込まれているか、などを点 検してくだ

故障したら使わない
動作がおかしくなったり、キャビネットや電源コードなど
が破損しているのに気づいたら、すぐにお買い上げ店ま

下記の注意事項を守らないと火 災・感 電 に
より死亡や大けがの原因となります。
湿気やほこり、油煙、湯気の多い
場所や、直射日光のあたる場所に
は置かない
上記のような場所に置くと、火災や感電
の原因となることがあります。特に風呂
場などでは絶対に使用しないでくださ
い。
内部に水や異物を入れない
本機の上に熱器具、花瓶など液体
が入ったものやローソクを置かな
い
火災や感電の危険をさけるために、
本機を水のかかる場所や湿気のあ
る場所では使用しないで下さい。ま
た、本機の上に花瓶などの水の入っ
たものを置かないで下さい。
本機の上に、例えば火のついたローソクのよ
うな、火炎源を置かないで下さい。

体の電源ボタンを切り、電源プラグをコ
ンセントから抜き、お買い上げ店またはソ

本機を日本国外で使わない
交流100Vの電源でお使いくださ
い。海外など、異なる電源電圧の地
域で使用すると、火災・感電の原因
となります。
風通しの悪い所に置いたり、通風
孔 を ふ さ い だりし な い
布をかけたり、毛足の長いじゅうた
んや布団の上または機器を本箱や
組み込み式キャビネットのような通
気が妨げられる狭いところに設置し
ないで下さい。壁や家具に密接し
て置いて、通気孔をふさぐなど、自然放熱の
妨げになるようなことはしないでください。
過熱して火災や感電の原因となることがあり
ます。
電源プラグは抜き差ししやすいコ
ン セ ント に 接 続 す る
本機は容易に手が届くような電源
コンセントに接続し、異常が生じた
場合は速やかにコンセントから抜い
て下さい。通常、本機の電源スイッ
チを切っただけでは、完全に電源か
ら切り離せません。
電源コードを傷つけない
電源コードを傷つけると、火災や感
電の原因となります。
 設置時に、製品と壁や棚との間に
はさみ込んだりしない。
 電源コードを加工したり、傷つけ
た りし な い 。
 重いものをのせたり、引っ張ったりしない 。
 熱器具に近づけない。加熱しない。
 移動させるときは、電源コードを抜く。
 電源コードを抜くときは、必ずプラグを持っ
て抜く。

上に乗ったり、座ったりしない
落ちてけがの原因となることがあ
ります。また、本機を傷める原因と
なります。
ぬれた手で電源プラグにさわら
ない
感電の原因となることがありま
す。
大音量で長時間つづけて聞かな
い
耳を刺激するような大きな音量で
長時間つづけて聞くと、聴力に悪い
影響を与えることがあります。
, 呼びかけられたら気がつくくら
いの音量で聞くことをおすすめ
します。
安定した場所に置く
ぐらついた台の上や傾いた所など
に置くと、製品が落下してけがの原
因 と な る こ と が あ り ま す 。ま た 、置 き
場所、取り付け場所の強度も充分
に確認してください。
コード類は正しく配置する
電源コードやAVケーブルは足にひ
っかけると機器の落下や転倒など
により、けがの原因となることがあ
ります。充分に注意して接続、配置
してください 。
移動させるとき、長期間使わない
と き は 、電 源 プ ラ グ を 抜 く
長期間使用しないときは安
全のため電源プラグをコンセ
ントから抜いてください。絶
縁劣化、漏電などにより火災
の原因となることがありま
す。
お手入れの際、電源プラグを抜く

本機の角でけがなどをしないように、お気を
つけください。

使用上のご注意
設置場所について
次のような場所には置かないでください。
 ぐらついた台の上や不安定な所。
 毛足の長いじゅうたんや布団の上。
 湿気の多い所、風通しの悪い所。
 ほこりの多い所。
 特殊な塗装、ワックス、油脂、溶剤などが塗
られている床に本機を置くと、床に変色、染
み などが 残る 場 合が あります 。
 直射日光が当たる所、温度が高い所。
 極端に寒い所。
 チューナーやテレビ、ビデオデッキといっし
ょに使用するとき、雑音が入ったり、映像が
乱 れ た り す る こ と が あ り ま す 。こ の よ う な 場
合は、本機をそれらの機器から離して設置
してください 。
 電子レンジや大きなスピーカーなど、強力
な磁気を発するものの近く。
設置時のご注意
本機は、ハイパワーアンプを搭載しています。
そのため、本機背面の通気孔をふさぐと、内
部の温度が上昇し、故障の原因となることが
あります。通気孔を絶対にふさがないでくだ
さい。

本機の使用上の注意事項
本機の使用周波数は5GHz帯です。5GHzワ
イヤレス機器の屋外使用は法令により禁止
されています。

い生活環境を守りましょう。このマークは音
のエチケットのシンボルマークです。
お手入れの方法
柔らかい乾いた布で汚れをふき取ってくださ
い。
汚れがひどい場合は十分に薄めた中性洗剤
を付けた固く絞った布でふき取ってくださ
い。
アルコールやベンジン等は使用しないでくだ
さい。

接続する端子位置よっては、ワイヤレストラン
シーバーが他の端子と干渉する場合があり

サブウーファーも自動的

サブウーファー を使う
電源の入り切りについて
テレビの電源を入れると、自動的にサ
ブウーファーの電源が入ります。
テレビの電源がスタンバイになると、
サブウーファーも自動的にスタンバイ
になり、/ランプが赤色に点灯しま
す。
テレビを見ている間 、テレビのメニュー
からサブウーファーの電源をスタンバ
イにしておくこともできます。
サブウーファーの電源を切りたい時は
サブウーファー の /ボタンを押して
下さい。/ラ ンプ が 消 え サブ ウーファ
ーの電源が切れます。
音質の設定について
テレビのメニューで、サブウーファー の
音量、カットオフ周波数、位相の調整が
できます。

ワイヤレス接続をす
る機器を特定する
セキュアリンク接続を使うと、接続する
ワイヤレストランシーバーとサブウー
ファーを特定できます。
複数のワイヤレス機器をお使いのとき
に便利です。

もし、サブウーファーのLEDが橙色に点滅
したままの場合は、サブウーファー背面の
SECUREボタンを、/ランプが緑色に点灯
または点滅するまで数秒押し続ける。

その他
故障かな？と思ったら
本機の調子がおかしいとき、修理に出
す前にもう一度点検してください。そ
れでも正常に動作しないときは、お買
い上げ店またはソニーサービス窓口、
ソニーの相談窓口にお問い合わせく
ださい。
サブウーファーからテレビの音が
鳴らない。
 ワイヤレストランシーバーとテレビがオ
ーディオケーブルで正しく接続されてい
るか確認してください。
 テレビの音声出力を確認する。ˎ
音声が出ていない場合、テレビの音声出
力設定と音量を確認してください。
 サブウーファーの電源ランプを確認し
てください。
 消灯している場合:
- サブウーファーの電源コードが正
しく接続されているか確認してく
ださい。
- サブウーファーの電源ボタンを押し
て電源を入れてください。
 赤色に点灯している場合：
- サブウーファーの設置場所を確認
して下さい。
-テレビとサブウーファーを、密 閉型
の ラックや 金 属 製 ラック 、テ ー ブ ル
の下に設置しないでください。
-サブウーファーをテレビの近くに設
置してください 。
-ワイヤレストランシーバーがテレビ
に正しく接続されて いるか確認して
ください。
-テレビのワイヤレスサブウーファー
設定の電源がオートに設定されてい
るか確認してください。
 緑色または橙色にゆっくり点滅、また
は赤色に点灯している場合：
- セキュアリンク接続の設定をもう一
度おこなってください。
- ワイヤレストランシーバーの電波が
サブウーファーに届きにくくなって
いる可能性があります。サブウーフ
ァーの設置場所を変えて、電源ラン
プが緑色または橙色に点灯するよう
にしてくだ さい 。
 赤色に点滅している場合：
- サブウーファーの電源ボタンを押し
て電源を切り、通気孔がふさがれて
いないか確認してください。ˎ
過大な入力に対して保護機能が働
いた可能性があります。テレビの音
量を下げるか、またはサブウーファ
ーレベル設定を下げてください。
サブウーファーから異音がする、
音が途切れる
 サブウーファーをテレビの近くに設 置し
てください。
 テレビとサブウーファーを、密閉型のラッ
クや金属製ラック、テーブルの下に設置
しな いでください。
 他のワイヤレス機器から離れた場所に設
置してください 。
サブウーファーの音が非常に小
さい。
 テレビの音質・音声設定のサブウーファ
ーレベル設定を確認してください。ニ
ュースなど低音が極端に少ない番組で
は、サブウーファーからの低音は小さい
か、またはほとんど聞き取れないことが
あります。

調子が悪いときはまずチェックを
この説明書の「故障かな？と思ったら」
の項を参考にして、故障かどうかを点

部品の交換について
この製品は、修理の際に交換した部品
を再生、再利用する場合があります。
その際、交換した部品は回収させてい
ただきます。
保証期間中の修理は
保証書の記載内容に基づいて修理さ
せていただきます。詳しくは、保証書を
ご覧ください 。
保証期間の経過後の修理は
修理によって機能が維持できる場合
は、ご要望により有料修理させていた
だきます。
部品の保有期間について
当社では、本製品の補修用性能部品（
製品の機能を維持するために必要な
部品）を、製造打ち切り後8年間保有し
ています。ただし、故障の状況その他
の事情により、修理に代えて製品交換
をする場合がありますのでご了承くだ
さい。

Data transmission is always initiated by
software, which is the passed down
through the MAC, through the digital
and analog baseband, and finally to the
RF chip. Several special packets are
initiated by the MAC. These are the only
ways the digital baseband portion will
turn on the RF transmitter, which it then
turns off at the end of the packet.
Therefore, the transmitter will be on only
while one of the aforementioned
packets is being transmitted. In other
words, this device automatically
discontinues transmission in case of
either absence of information to
transmit or operational failure.

On safety
 Should any solid object or liquid fall
into the subwoofer, unplug the
subwoofer and have it checked by
qualified personnel before operating
it any further.
 Do not climb on the subwoofer, as you
may fall down and injure yourself, or
subwoofer damage may result.
 Before operating the subwoofer, check
that the operating voltage is identical
to your local power supply.
 If you are not going to use the
subwoofer for a long time, be sure to
disconnect the subwoofer from the
wall outlet (mains). To disconnect the
AC power cord (mains lead), grasp the
plug itself; never pull the cord.
 AC power cord (mains lead) must be
changed only at the qualified service
shop.
On placement
 Place the subwoofer in a location with
adequate ventilation to prevent heat
buildup and prolong the life of the
subwoofer.
 Do not place the subwoofer near heat
sources, or in a place subject to direct
sunlight, excessive dust, or mechanical
shock.
 Use caution when placing the
subwoofer on surfaces that have been
specially treated (with wax, oil, polish,
etc.) as staining or discoloration of the
surface may result.
 Take care to avoid any possible injury
on the corners of the subwoofer.

with the switch) away from the wall
more than 5cm. Prevent something
like cloth from blocking up the
ventilation slit.

On operation
Before connecting other equipment, be
sure to turn off and unplug the
subwoofer.
On cleaning
Clean the subwoofer with a soft dry
cloth. Do not use any type of abrasive
pad, scouring powder or solvent such as
alcohol or benzine.
If you have any question or problem
concerning your subwoofer, please
consult your nearest Sony dealer.

Using the
subwoofer
About the power state
The subwoofer would be turned
on automatically when you turn
on the TV.

You can adjust subwoofer level,
cut-off frequency and phase by
TV’s menu.

Activating wireless
transmission
between specific
units
You can specify the wireless
connection to be used to link the
Wireless Transceiver to the
subwoofer using the Secure Link
function.
This function is useful when you
use multiple wireless products.

Troubleshooting
If you experience any of the
following difficulties while using
the system, use this
troubleshooting guide to help
remedy the problem before
requesting support. Should any
problem persist, consult your
nearest Sony dealer. When
bringing the system in for repairs,
be sure to bring in the entire
system. This product is a system
product, and the entire system is
needed to determine the part
requiring repair.
No TV sound is output from
the subwoofer.
 Check the connection of the audio
cable that is connected to the
wireless transceiver and the TV.
 Check the sound output of the TV.
When sound does not come out,
confirm the sound output settings
of the TV and the volume of the TV
speaker.
 Check the status of /indicator on
the subwoofer:
 Turns off.
- Check that the AC power cord
(mains lead) of the subwoofer is
securely connected.
- Turn the subwoofer on by
pressing /button on the
subwoofer.

 Stays lit in red:
- Check the location of the
subwoofer.
- Do not place the TV and
subwoofer in a metal cabinet.
- Place the subwoofer close to the
TV in a room.
- Make sure that the wireless
transceiver is inserted correctly
into the TV.
- Please confirm that power
setting of Wireless Subwoofer of
TV is Auto.
 Flashes in green or amber slowly
or turns red:
- Make the Secure Link setting
again.
- Sound transmission is poor.
Move the subwoofer so that the
power indicator turns green or
amber.
 Flashes in red:
- Press power to turn off the
subwoofer, and check that
nothing is blocking the
ventilation slit of the subwoofer.
A protection function may act by
excessive input. Please lower TV
volume or the SW level.
Noise is heard from the
subwoofer or sound from the
subwoofer is intermittent.
 Move the subwoofer closer to the
TV.
 Do not install the TV and subwoofer
in a closed rack, on a metal rack, or
under a table.
 Move the subwoofer away from
other wireless devices.
 Avoid using any other wireless
devices.
The sound output from the
subwoofer is very low.
 Check the subwoofer level in the
sound setting of the TV.
 With some types of content such as
news there will not be a lot of bass
sound, this is normal.
