haut-parleurs Soundstage ont été conçus pour offrir la meilleure valeur
présentement disponible en matière d’haut-parleur, qu’ils soient utilisés dans
des applications stéréo ou cinéma-maison .
Vos nouvelles enceintes sont simples à installer et vous donneront des années de
plaisir d’écoute sans panne. Cependant nous recommandons que vous lisez
soigneusement ce manuel d’utilisation avant l’installation afin de vous

Congratulations for choosing Soundstage Outsider 6 loudspeakers.
Soundstage speakers have been designed to be the best value in
loudspeaker technology,for use in stereo or home-theatre applications.
Your new Soundstage Outsider 6 speakers are simple to install and will
give you many years of trouble free listening. We recommend, however,
that you read through this instruction manual to familiarize yourself with
the set up and operation of your loudspeakers. Your Soundstage
loudspeakers are covered by a 5-year parts and labor warranty.Please
retain your bill of sale, as this document will be required in the unlikely
event that your loudspeakers need servicing.

Note:
Le Outsider 6 haut-parleur n’est pas
hydrofuge. Ne pas submerger l’haut

manufacturier.
Déballage des haut-parleurs
Déballez soigneusement vos haut-parleurs et gardez tous les matériaux
d’emballage pour un futur usage. Si les haut-parleurs ont été
endommagés en transit, informez votre revendeur Soundstage
immédiatement.
Câblage des haut-parleurs:
**Veuillez mettre votre système hors tension avant
d'établir tous les raccords.
Pour câbler votre système, employez du câble de bonne qualité, de
catégorie haut-parleur, avec un codage de polarité (habituellement
identifié avec une inscription sur le câble) selon les recommandations de
mesure indiquées ci-dessous. Le côté du câble au codage (une ligne ou
une inscription " + ") dénote habituellement la polarité positive.
Reliez le coté positif du fil à haut-parleur (indiqué avec un " + " ou toute
autre inscription) au terminal rouge (ou positif) du haut-parleur. Reliez
l'autre côté du fil à haut-parleur au terminal noir (ou négatif) du
haut-parleur.
Reliez l’autre extrémité du fil à haut-parleur à votre amplificateur en
vous assurant que la polarité est préservée (de " + " à " + " ou rouge à
rouge, et " - " à " - " ou noir à noir - voir le diagramme).
Essai D'Écoute
Une fois que vous avez relié vos haut-parleurs, mettez en fonction votre
système et faites le fonctioner avec du matériel (DC ou DVD) avec lequel
vous êtes familier. Commencez à bas volume et augmentez jusqu’à un
niveau confortable d'écoute. Le système devrait sembler équilibré avec
une bonne image stéréo. Si l’image stéréo semble confuse, assurez-vous
que les raccords au haut-parleurs ont été correctement établis avec le
récepteur.
Entretien
Employez simplement un tissu humide pour retirer la poussière. Évitez
toute utilisation de produits chimiques ou de polissage sur le caisson et
la grille.

Unpacking the loudspeakers
Carefully unpack the loudspeakers and retain the carton and
packing materials for future use. If the speakers have been damaged
in transit, please inform your dealer immediately.
Wiring the speakers
Note: Please turn off your system prior to making
any connections.
To wire your system, please use good quality, speaker grade audio
cable with polarity coding (usually identified with a marking on the
cable) as per the gauge recommendations indicated below. The side
of the cable that has the coding (a ridge, or "+" marking) usually
denotes the positive polarity.
Connect the positive lead of the speaker wire (indicated with a "+"
or other marking) to the Red (or positive) speaker terminal. Connect
the other speaker wire lead to the Black (or negative) speaker
terminal.
Connect the opposite end of the speaker wire to your amplifier
making sure that the polarity is preserved ("+" to "+" or Red to Red,
and "-" to "-" or Black to Black – see diagram).
Listening Test
Once you have connected your speakers, turn on your system and
begin playback of material you are familiar with. Begin at low
volume and increase to a comfortable listening level. The system
should sound balanced with good stereo imaging. If the imaging
sounds distorted and confused, check to make sure that the speakers
have been correctly wired with your amplifier/receiver.
Maintenance
Simply use a damp cloth to clean, and avoid all use of chemical
products and polishes on the cabinet and grill.
