TomountthePentium

classprocessorthatyouhavepurchasedseparately,followthese
instructions.
CPU Mount Procedure

Liftthesockethandleuptoaverticalposition.
2.
AlignthebluntedgeoftheCPUwiththematchingpinholedistinctiveedgeonthe
socket.
3.
Seattheprocessorinthesocketcompletelyandwithoutforcing.
4.
ThenclosethesockethandletosecuretheCPUinplace.
RemembertoconnecttheCPUCoolingFantotheappropriatepower
connectorontheMotherboard. Thefanisakeycomponentthatwillensure
systemstability.Thefanpreventsoverheating,thereforeprolongingthelifeof
yourCPU.

keyduringthesystemdiagnosticcheckstoentertheAwardBIOSSetupprogram.The
CMOSSETUPUTILITYwilldisplayonscreen.Then,followthesestepstocompletethe
quickBIOSsetup.
Step 1. Select [LOAD SETUP DEFAULT]
Selectthe“LOADSETUPDEFAULT”menuandtype“Y”attheprompttoloadtheBIOS
optimalsetup.
Step 2. Select [STANDARD CMOS SETUP]

orwrittentothe Harddisk.ThebusmasterdriversmakeuseofDMA(DirectMemoryAccess)
torelievetheCPUofthisburden,thusspeedingupthesystem.
TheSOYOSpeedProdrivermakesuseofanadvancedcachingalgorithm,whichgivesitan
advantageoverotherbusmasterdrivers.
Note:Ifyou installthe SOYO SpeedPro Busmasterdriver forWindows95/98,youcan
NOTinstall the VIABusMaster drivers.

Onceyouhaveselectedadriver,thesystemwillautomaticallyexittheSOYOCDto
beginthedriverinstallationprogram.Whentheinstallationiscomplete,mostdriversrequire
torestartyoursystembeforetheycanbecomeactive.
Installthedrivers insequence,startingwiththe FIRSTdriver.
IfyouwanttoseeallthedriversavailableontheSOYO –CD,clickthe
Displayalldrivers
onthe SOYO CD
button.DoNOTinstalldriversthatarenotsuitableforyourboard,
otherwiseyoursystemmaycrash.

Clickthe'CheckthelatestReleases'buttontogotheSOYO Website toautomatically find
thelatestBIOS,manualanddriverreleasesforyourmotherboard.Thisbuttonwillonlywork
ifyourcomputer isconnectedtothe internetthroughanetworkormodemconnection.Make
suretogetyourmodemconnectionupbeforeclickingthisbutton.
