• After 5 min the MOD-HDMI-Q’s keypad will be locked. To unlock, keep the “Up/Down”
buttons (No.3) pressed simultaneously for 5sec. approximately
INSTALLATION
The MOD-HDMI-Q can be programmed with one of the following ways:
• Fromthefrontpaneldisplay
• FromtheUSBinterface
STEP 1:
Power up the MOD-HDMI-Q by plugging in the external power supply.
The MOD-HDMI-Q will need 40-50secs to initialize itself.
The SSD (Seven Segment Display – No 2) depicts the initialization status.
STEP 2:
Select a modulator by pressing the MOD Select button (No 5). A LED indicator will
indicate which modulator is selected.
Step 3:
Choose “Channel” mode by pressing the Channel/Prole button (No 1) and select
the output RF channel using the Up/Downs buttons.
Step 4:
Choose “Attenuation mode” by pressing the Channel/Prole button (No 1) and
select output attenuation ( 0dB, -10dB, -25 dB) using the Up/Downs buttons.
Step 5:
Choose “Prole mode” by pressing the Channel/Prole button (No 1) and select
Prole number using the Up/Downs buttons. Each modulator must have its unique
prole number in the same CATV installation.
For example, select:
Prole No 1 for the rst modulator
Prole No2 for the second modulator
…
Prole No10 for the 10th modulator etc…
* The MOD-HDMI-Q offers advanced programming features from a PC software via a USB interface.
Step 6:
Repeat the procedure from step Νο 2 up to step Νο 5 for the rest of the modulators
of the MOD-HDMI-Q .
