COLOCAR LAS PILAS
1. Levantar la antena para descubrir la tapa de las pilas.
2. Presionar la pestaña de la tapa de las pilas (tal y como
indica la flecha) y descubrir la tapa.
3. Colocar dos pilas AA el compartimento tal y como
indica en el dibujo las polaridades.
4. Recolocar de nuevo la tapa de las pilas.
Retirar las pilas si el dispositivo no se va a usar durante
un largo periodo de tiempo para evitar daño por desgaste.
NOTA: Nunca mezclar pilas usadas con pilas nuevas o pilas de
diferentes tipos. Las pilas deben ser cambiadas en pack.

ESCUCHAR LA RADIO
ANTENA FM
Mientras escuchas la radio FM siempre es importante
tener la antena telescópica extendida. La antena tiene una
base pivotante pudiendo colocar la antena con la mejor
dirección posible para una mejor recepción.
ENCENDIENDO Y APAGANDO LA RADIO
• Mantener pulsado el botón POWER/MODE para
encender la radio.
La radio se encenderá con la última emisora sintonizada.
• Mantenerpulsadoelbotón POWER/MODE para apagar
la radio.
SELECCIONANDO BANDAS AM/FM
• Presionar el botón POWER/MODE brevemente para
alternar en frecuencia AM y FM.
Se muestra en la pantalla si es FM o AM.

CONFIGURANDO EL VOLUMEN
• Pulsarelbotón VOLUME para pasar al modo volumen.
• GirarlaRULETA DE CONTROL en sentido de las agujas
del reloj para aumentar el volumen y en sentido
contrario a las agujas del reloj para recudir el volumen.
SINTONIZACIÓN AUTOMÁTICA
• Mantén pulsado el botón TUNING para buscar la
siguiente emisora en la banda.
La radio buscará una emisora y automáticamente se
detendrá cuando alcance la siguiente.
SINTONIZACIÓN MANUAL
• Pulsarelbotón TUNING.
• GirarlaRULETA DE CONTROL en sentido de las agujas
del reloj para aumentar la frecuencia, y en sentido
contrario de las agujas del reloj para disminuirla.
La pantalla LCD mostrará la frecuencia en MHz (FM) o
en kHz (AM).

EMISORAS PRESINTONIZADAS
Tu radio puede almacenar hasta 10 de tus emisoras
favoritascomopredenidas,seanFMcomoAM.
ALMACENANDO EMISORAS PREDEFINIDAS
• Sintoniza la emisoras que deseas memorizar como
predenidas.
• Manténpulsadoelbotón MEMORY.
Una “P” aparecerá en la pantalla LCD mostrando el
número a almacenar.
• Para seleccionar la localización de tu emisora
predenidagiralaRULETA DE CONTROL para cambiar
el número de emisora.
• Para memorizar la frecuencia que está sonando en
la emisora predenida seleccionada, pulsar el botón
MEMORY.
Elnúmerodeemisorapredenidadejaradeparpadear
para indicar que se ha memorizado correctamente la
estaciónpredenida.

PARA SINTONIZAR UNA EMISORA PREDEFINIDA
• Pulsarelbotón MEMORY.
 Semostrarálaúltimaemisorapredenida.
• Girar la RULETA DE CONTROL para navegar entre las
emisoraspredenidas.
• Cuando dejes de navegar entre las emisoras
predenidas,sonarálaemisoraseleccionada.
Laradiosintonizarálaemisiónpredenida.
AURICULARES
En la parte trasera del dispositivo hay una salida
de auriculares. Si los auriculares están conectados
para una escucha privada, el altavoz dejará de sonar
automáticamente.

FITTING BATTERIES
1. Lift the FM aerial clear of the battery cover.
2. Press the catch on the battery cover (arrowed) and lift
off the lid.
3. Fit 2 x AA batteries into the battery compartment,
observing polarity as shown.
4. Replace the battery cover.
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a long
time to avoid the danger of leakage.
NOTA: Never mix old and new batteries or batteries of different
types. Batteries should always be replaced as sets.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO
FM AERIAL
When listening to FM radio it is always important to extend
the telescopic aerial. The aerial has a swivel base and can
be moved to the position that gives best reception.
SWITCHING THE RADIO ON OR OFF
• PressandholdthePOWER/MODE button to switch the
radio on.
The radio will switch on, tuned to the last station you
played..
• PressandholdthePOWER/MODE button to switch the
radio off.
SELECTING FM OR AM BANDS
• Press the POWER/MODE button briefly to change
between FM and AM bands.
FM or AM is displayed with the tune frequency.

SELECTING THE VOLUME
• PresstheVOLUME button to switch the volume mode.
• Turn the ROTARY control clockwise to increase the
volume or anti-clockwise to decrease the volume.
AUTOMATIC TUNING
• PressandholdtheTUNING button to search for the next
station in the band.
The radio will tune the band and stop automatically
when it reaches the next station.
MANUAL TUNING
• PresstheTUNING button.
• TurntheROTARY control clockwise to tune up the band
or anti-clockwise to tune down the band.
The display will show the tuned frequency in MHz (FM)
or kHz (AM).

PRESET STATIONS
Your radio can store up to 10 of your favorite stations as
presets on both the FM and AM bands.
STORING PRESETS
• Tunetothestationyouwanttostoreasapreset.
• PressandholdtheMEMORY button.
“P” will be displayed with a flashing preset number to
store.
• Tochooseapresetlocation to storeyourstation,turn
the ROTARY control to change the preset number
displayed.
• To store the station playing in the preset number
displayed, press the MEMORY button.
The preset number will stop flashing to indicate that the
preset has been stored.

TO RECALL A PRESET
• PresstheMEMORY button.
The last used preset number will be displayed.
• TurntheROTARY control to browse the preset stations.
• Whenyoustopbrowsingthestationwillbeselected.
The radio will tune to the selected preset station.
HEADPHONES
There is a headphone output socket on the back panel of
the radio. If headphones are connected to this socket for
private listening, the speakers will cut out automatically.
