Introduction
• Pleasereadtheoperatingmanualcarefullybeforeusingthedispenser.Toensurethesafeoperationofthe
dispenser,regionalregulations(e.g.accidentpreventionregulations)mustbeadheredtoinadditionto
followingtheinstructionsinthismanual.Theoperatingcompanyisresponsibleforprovidingthedetailsof
theseadditionalregulations.
• Thisguidecontainsimportantinstructionsforproperandsafeuseoftheappliance.
• Alwayskeepthisguidecloseathandforfuturereference.
Precautions
• Donottrytoopentheapplianceorrepairitinanyway.Onlyhavetheappliancerepairedinatechnical
workshop,servicecentreorbyaqualifiedperson.
• Removethemainscablefromthesocketwhentheapplianceisnotinuseforlongerperiods.Todothis,pull
theplugnotthecable.
• Thisappliancemustbeplacedinahorizontalsurfaceresistanttoanywaterthatmayleak.
• Placetheapplianceoutofthereachofchildren.
• Positionthemainscablesothatpeoplecannottripoverit.Keepitawayfromsharpedgesandheatsources.
• Thenewhose-setssuppliedwiththisappliancearetobeused,oldhose-setsmustnotbere-used.
• Thisapplianceisnotsuitableforinstallationinanareawhereawaterjetcouldbeused.
• Thisappliancemustnotbecleanedbyawaterjet.
• Donotstoreexplosivesubstancessuchasaerosolcanswithaflammablepropellantintheapplianceor
refrigerator.
Hazard intensity levels
There are two different levels of notication intensity within this manual, as identied by the signal words
WARNING and Note. Always observe these warnings to ensure safety and prevent potential injury or
equipment damage.
The following symbols are used:

WARNING:
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if ignored, could result in serious injury or
even death.
Note:
Provides additional information which may be helpful during the operation, routine
maintenance, and cleaning.
Important:
Alerts against unsafe practices. Observe Important notications to ensure food safety,
prevent possible minor personal injury, or damage to the machine.

• Thisappliancedispensesfreshbrewedcoffee,coffee-baseddrinks,andfilteredwater.Tokeepthe
applianceandbasecabinetcleanandhygienic,andallbeveragestastingfresh,followallstepslistedinthe
OPERATIONandCLEANINGANDCAREsectionsofthismanual.
• Accesstotheservicearea(applianceandbasecabinetinteriorareas)isrestrictedtopersonshaving
knowledgeandpracticalexperienceoftheappliance;inparticularregardingsafehandlingandoperation
andperformingcleaningtasksandmaintainingadequatehygiene.Onlypersonswhohavebeenadequately
trainedshouldaccesstheservicearea,ifyourequiretrainingcontactyourdistributorforapplicabilityor
otheroptions.
• Topreventdryingredientspoilage,alldryingredients(coffeebeans,groundcoffee,sugar,ingredient
powders,etc.)shouldbeusedupandrefilledwithinonemonth,ordisposedofandreplacedifolderthan
onemonth.
• Neverimmersetheappliance,plugormainscableinwater.Thereisadangerofelectricshock.
• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandaboveandpersonswithreducedphysical,
sensoryormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledgeiftheyhavebeengivensupervisionor
instructionconcerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.
• Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebypersons(includingchildren)withreducedphysical,sensoryor
mentalcapabilities,orlackofexperienceandknowledge,unlesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionor
instructionconcerninguseoftheappliancebyapersonresponsiblefortheirsafety.
• Childrenshallnotplaywiththeappliance.
• Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplaywiththeappliance.
• Cleaningandusermaintenanceshallnotbemadebychildrenwithoutsupervision.

• Onlyplugtheapplianceintoaproperlyinstalledearth-groundedsafetysocketwithlinevoltagematchingthe
technicaldatafortheappliance.
• Incaseofemergency,(e.g.,themachinecatchesfireorbecomesunusuallyhotornoisy),disconnectthe
powerimmediatelyandturnoffthewatersupply.
• Ifthemachineislikelytobeexposedtotemperaturesbelow0ºCduringhandlingandtransport,makesure
thatservicepersonnelemptiestheboilerandwatersystem.(Themachine’sboilerandwatersystemis
emptywhendeliveredfromthefactory.)
• Donotinstallorusetheapplianceoutdoorsoranywhereitcanbeexposedtosevereweather(rain,snow,
frost).Itwillcausematerialdamagetotheappliance.
• Preventtheappliancefromfreezing.Ifthewaterinthehydraulicsystemdoesfreeze,donotusethe
appliance.Unplugitancontactatechniciantoinspectitanperformnecessaryrepairs.
• TheA-weightedsoundpressurelevelisbelow70dB.

User –Customer/consumer/frontlineoperator(FLO).Usesthedispensertoconsumedrinksinaccordance
withtheconditionsdefinedbytheoperatingcompany.Doesnothaveaccesstointernalpartsofthedispenser
oritsprogrammingwithoutadequatetrainingasprovidedbythemanufacturer,operatingcompanyor
distributor.
Service personnel – Personneltrainedbythemanufacturer,operatingcompanyordistributorwhoknow
howtofillandcleanthedispenser.
Service technician – Experttrainedbythemanufacturer,operatingcompanyordistributorwhoisawareof
thehazardsposedbythedispenserandisfamiliarwiththedispenser'stechnicalequipment.Servicetechnicians
aretrainedandcapableofinstalling,maintainingandrepairingthedispenser.
Operating company – Responsibleforsettingupandoperatingthedispensercorrectly.
Intended use
• Thisapplianceisintendedtobeusedindoorsonly,inapplicationssuchas:
-Staffkitchenareasinshops.
-Officesandothercommercialworkingenvironments,breakrooms.
-Onagriculturalestates.
-Byclientsinhotels,motelsandotherresidentialtypeenvironments.
-Bedandbreakfasttypeenvironments.
Requirements of personnel
WARNING:
No one is permitted to carry out service, maintenance or repair work on the dispenser unless
they have been properly instructed by the operating company or the manufacturer.
Possible types of misuse
• Relyingonpersonnelthathavenotbeenproperlyinstructedandarenotfullyqualified.
• Usingproductsthatareoutofdateorareclosetotheirbest-beforedate.
• UsingproductsthathavenotbeenapprovedbySpengler.
• UsingsparepartsthathavenotbeenapprovedbySpengler.
• TechnicalchangesandmodificationstothedispenserthathavenotbeenauthorisedbySpengler.
• Operatingthedispenseroutsideofthespecifications.

• Readtheoperatingmanualcarefullybeforeusingthedispenser.
• Itisessentialtodisconnectthedispenserfromthepowersupplybeforecarryingoutanyrepairwork.
• Thedispenserisdesignedexclusivelyforusewithdrinkingwaterthathasahardnessof6-8°dH.
Ifthehardnessishigher,asuitablefiltermustbeused.
• Pleaseobservethemaintenanceadviceandintervals.
• Anymaintenance,cleaningandrepairtasksthattheendcustomerisnotspecificallyauthorisedtoperform
mayonlybecarriedoutbytrainedservicepersonnel.
• Foryourownsafety,andtoensurethatyourdispenserenjoysalongservicelife,youshouldonlyuse
originalSpenglerspareparts.
• Thedispensermayonlybeusedtopreparetheproductsspecifiedinthesectiononintendeduse.
• Neversubmergethedispenserorthepowercableinwater.
Identication markings on the drinks dispenser
The name plate (sample shown below) and the wiring diagram are located inside the dispenser on the right side
of the door frame. Before connecting the dispenser to the mains power supply for the rst time it is critical to
conrm that the rated power on the name plate matches the mains power supply’s rating for the service area.

Disassembly and disposal
• Disposeofthedispenserinaccordancewithregionaldisposalregulations.
• ThisdispenserissubjecttotheWasteElectricalandElectronicEquipmentDirective
(WEEE/EUdirective)andmustnotbedisposedoftogetherwithnormaldomesticwaste.
• Thepackagingismadefromvariousrecyclablematerials.Afterinstallingthedispenser,pleasecontactthe
wastedisposaldepartmentofyourlocalauthoritytocheckwhatoptionsareavailableforrecyclingthe
packagingmaterialordisposingofitinanenvironmentallyfriendlyway.
Installation and connection conditions
• WheninstallingtheappliancerefertotheSpenglerQuickInstallationGuidewhichisincludedwiththe
applianceforstep-by-stepinstructions.
• Whenconnectingtheapplianceand/orrefrigeratorunittothemainspowersupplymakesurethatthe
ratingslabel(shownabove)matchesthesupplyvoltagefortheinstallationlocation.
• Wheninstallingtheappliancerequiredfree(unobstructed)dimensionsare:

-Above:32cm(foraccessandingredientrefilling)
