Seizure,BlackoutsandEyestrain
Asmallpercentageof peoplemay besusceptibletoblackouts orseizures (eveniftheyhave never had one before) whenexposed toflashinglights or
lightpatterns suchas when playing games or watching video.If youhave experiencedseizures orblackouts or have afamily history of suchoccurrences,
youshouldconsult a physicianbeforeplayingvideogames orwatchingvideos. Discontinueuse of Force Bandandyoursmart devicecontroller and
consulta physicianifyouexperience headaches,blackouts,seizures,convulsion,eyeormuscletwitching,lossof awareness,involuntary movement,or
disorientation.Toreduceriskofheadaches,blackouts,seizures,andeyestrain, avoid prolongeduse,holdyoursmart devicecontrollersome distance from
youreyes,useForce Bandin a well-lit room, andtakefrequentbreaks.
RepetitiveInjury
When you perform repetitive activities such as playing games on your smart device controller, you may experience occasional discomfort in your hands,
arms, shoulders, neck, or other parts of your body. Avoid excessive play. It is recommended that parents monitor their children for appropriate play. Take
frequentbreaksandifyouhavediscomfort duringorafter suchuse, stop use and see aphysician.
WARNING:ChokingHazards
Force Bandhassmall partsinsideitscasing, whichmay present a chokinghazardtosmall childrenandpets. Keep Force Bandandits accessories
awayfrom smallchildren.
KeepingForce BandWithinAcceptableTemperatures
Operateandstore Force Bandina placewhere thetemperature is between 0º and 40ºC (32ºto104ºF). Low or high-temperatureconditionsmighttemporarily
shortenbatterylifeorcauseForce Band totemporarilystopworkingproperly. Avoiddramatic changesintemperatureor humiditywhenusingForce Band,as
condensationmayform on orwithin Force Band.Don’tleave Force Band inyourcar, becausetemperatures in parked carscanexceedthisrange.When you’re
usingForce Band orcharging thebattery, itisnormal forForce Bandto get warm. The exterior of Force Band functions asacoolingsurfacethat transfers heat
frominside theunittothecooler air outside.
UseandMaintenance
WARNING:Force Band is not suitablefor use by children under 8 years of age. Never:
 Abuse, submerge in water,throw,drop,puncture, violentlykickorsteponForce Band.Thiscan damagethe deviceandcompromiseits safe
operation.
 OperateForce Bandindangerous,hazardousorpublicareaswhere useisnotpermitted(highvoltagepowerlines,trainstations, airports,
trains). Check whetheruseof Force Band ispermitted beforeusingitinpublicareasor publictransport.
Always:
 KeepForce Band strapped to your wristat all timeswhenoperatingittoavoidinjuriesor damagestopeople,animalsor property.
 Ensurethat no oneis standing nearerthan 1 yard (1meter) from Force Band users whenin operation andthat you keep a safe distancebetween
people,animals and property.
 Periodically examineForce Bandforpotentialhazardssuchascracked,damaged orotherwisebrokenparts. Intheeventof suchdamage, donot
use Force Banduntilitcanbereplacedorrepaired.

BatteryWarning
 LithiumPolymerbatteries are extremely hazardousandliableto causeseriousinjuriestopersons orproperty.The useracceptsliabilityforthe
use of a Lithium Polymer battery. As themanufacturerandthedistributorcannotensurethebatteryisusedcorrectly (charging,discharging,
storage, etc.),they cannotbe held liablefor damagescaused topersonsorproperty.
 Intheeventof battery leakage,avoid theliquidcomingintocontact withskin andeyes. Incaseof contactwiththeskin, washcopiously withsoap
andwater. In caseof contact withthe eyes, rinsecopiously with cold water andconsult adoctor.If younotice a suspicioussmell or noise or
observesmokearoundthe charger,disconnectitimmediately.
 Non-compliancewiththe instructionsbelowcouldresult in gasbeinggivenoff,fire,electricshockor an explosion.
Charging
 Examinetheunit regularlyfor damagetothecord, plug, enclosureor other parts. Never use a damaged cord,charger,or poweradapter. Useonly
suppliedUSB cable and powered USB port or power adapter rated at 5vDC 500mA. If misused,electricalshock can occur.
 Never chargealeakybattery oronethat has beendamaged.
 Donot chargethebatterynearinflammablematerials or on aninflammablesurface(carpet, woodenflooring,woodenfurniture, etc.)or
conductingsurface.DonotleaveForce Bandunattendedduringcharging.
 Itisessentialtoavoid short circuits. Use only suitable powerchargers and adaptersfor charging Force Band. Do not use USB hubs for
charging.
 Never chargethedeviceimmediatelyafter use while itisstill hot. Let it cool downtoroomtemperature.
 Batteries are onlytobecharged under adultsupervision.
 Donot cover your productwhile the battery ischarging.Rechargethebattery at a temperature of between 0º and 40º C
(32ºto104ºF). The AC/DC adaptorisnot a toy and should only beoperatedby adults.
Useand storage
 Donot use Force Band if itscoverhas been broken andthebattery’s plastic cover has beencrackedorcompromised in any way.
 Donot exposethebatterytoexcessivephysicalshock.
 Donot expose Force Bandand its battery to heat ordispose of in a fire.
 Donot put Force Bandina microwave oven orinapressurizedcontainer.
 Donot attempttodismantle, pierce, distort orcutthe battery and do not attempt torepairthebattery. Do not place any heavyobjectsonForce
Band.
 Donot clean Force Bandwithasolvent,denaturedalcoholorotherinflammablesolvents. Whencleaning,besureto unplugthepoweradapter
andcharger.
 DonotsubjectForce Band andits battery to largetemperaturevariations. Donot placeyourForce Bandnearasourceof heat.
 Disconnectthecordwhenyou arenot chargingthebattery.
Batterydisposal
DiscardingForce Bandandits batteriesinyour generalhouseholdwastecanbeharmfultothe environment.Damaged orunusablebatteries must be
disposed of inacontainerspecially reservedforthispurpose.Whendisposing of thebattery,follow appropriatelocal guidelinesandregulations.For further
information,contactyourlocalsolidwasteauthority.
Warranty
LimitedWarrantytoOriginalPurchaser
This Force Band product, as suppliedand distributed by Sphero,Inc., and deliverednew,intheoriginal carton totheoriginalcustomerpurchaser,is warranted
by Sphero,Inc.against manufacturingdefects in materials and workmanshipfora period of 1 year, or such longer period may be required bylocal law.
Spherowill repairor replace thisproduct, at ouroption andat nochargewith new or reconditionedparts,iffoundtobedefectiveduringthe limitedwarranty
periodspecifiedabove.

UseofForce Bandis subjecttotheForce BandSoftwareLicenseAgreementfoundat:sphero.com.
ExclusionsandLimitations
Thiswarrantycoversthenormal andintendeduseof Force Band. It applies only tothe hardware product “Force Band”manufacturedby orforSphero,Inc.
that can beidentifiedbythe"Sphero"trademark,trade nameor logoaffixedtoit. TheLimited Warrantydoesnot applytoany non-Spherohardwareproduct
orany software,evenifpackagedorsoldwith the Force Bandhardwareproduct.Refer tothesoftwarelicenseagreementaccompanyingthesoftwarefor
details of your rights withrespecttoitsuse.
Spherodoesnot warrantthatthe operationof Force Bandwill beuninterruptedor error-free. Spherois notresponsiblefor damagearisingfromfailure to
followinstructions relatingtoForce Band’suse. This warrantydoesnotapplyto:
a) Consumableparts, suchas batteries, orprotectivecoatings designedtodiminishovertimeunlessfailurehasoccurredduetoa defectin
materialsorworkmanship;
b) Damagecausedbyusewithnon-Force Bandproducts;
c) Damagecausedbyaccidents,misuse,abuse, neglect,misapplication,fire, water,lightning orotheracts of nature;incorrect electricalline
voltage,fluctuations orsurges;damagecausedbyimproperinstallation;productalteration or modification;improperorunauthorizedrepair;
exteriorfinishorcosmeticdamage;
d) DamagecausedbyoperatingForce Bandoutsidetheintendeduses describedby Sphero;
e) Defectscausedby normal wear and tearor otherwiseduetothe normal agingoftheForce Bandproduct.

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles that may provide the
application of the law of another jurisdiction. Any claim or dispute in connection with this Limited Warranty shall be resolved in a cost effective manner
through binding non-appearance-based arbitration. The arbitration shall be initiated through an established alternative dispute resolution provide mutually
agreeduponbytheparties.The alternativedispute resolution providerandthepartiesmustcomply with thefollowingrules:
a) Thearbitrationshallbeconductedbytelephone,onlineand/or besolely basedonwrittensubmissions,thespecific manner shallbechosenby
theparty initiatingthearbitration;
b) Thearbitrationshall notinvolveanypersonalappearanceby thepartiesorwitnessesunlessotherwise mutually agreedby theparties;and
c) Any judgmentontheaward renderedbythearbitrator may beenteredin any courtof competentjurisdiction.
If the foregoing arbitration clause does not apply for any reason, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state courts located
within Boulder County, Colorado and the federal courts in Denver, Colorado for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes, which
courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction of such claims or disputes. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sphero may seek injunctive or other
equitable relief to protect its intellectual property rights in any court of competent jurisdiction.
