5106 Hip Kip Training Bar
Please carefully read the following instructions and warnings before assembling and
using your new equipment.
The exclamation mark symbol when seen in this booklet is used to indicate warnings or items that
require special attention during the use or assembly of the apparatus.
Set Up and Use
1. Only qualified persons should undertake assembly, installation and adjustment of
this equipment. At no time should children or other unqualified persons
undertake the assembly, installation or adjustment of this equipment.
2. To install the Kip Trainer you will need to disconnect one end of the bar (rail) so that you may
slide the Kip Trainer over it. Consult the apparatus instruction/assembly manual to make sure
disconnecting the bar will not cause the apparatus to fall over. Observe the following warnings:
Disconnecting one end of the bar could cause the apparatus to fall over. Make sure
that you consult the apparatus instruction manual or contact SA Sport if you require
guidance.
When disconnecting the bar use the recommended number of people to support the
apparatus as outlined in the assembly instructions.
Make sure the bar has been reconnected properly, consult the apparatus assembly
instructions. Have a second person that is qualified verify that the equipment is safe.
3. The recommended maximum weight for the Kip Bar is 100lbs.
4. Ensure that gymnast is large enough so that the Kip bar will remain below their
hips and on their bottom (gluteus maximus) during use.
5. Gymnast must be spotted during use !
Athletes should be assisted when mounting and/or dismounting Kip
Bar. Use caution when mounting and dismounting in order to reduce
the risk of falling from the apparatus.
6. The Kip bar can be used on any bar providing the bar and apparatus are strong enough to
support the athletes weight. Consult the apparatus instruction manual for this information.
7. Always Inspect this equipment for proper stability before each use.
8. Kip Training Bar is designed for practicing Kips and Hip Circles. Using the Kip
Training Bar for anything other than it's intended use is NOT SAFE
