Assembly
To install, simply slide e top and boom pieces
onto your phone until you feel it snap togeer.
Rail System
To install or remove Cartridges, grasp Cartridge
securely on ea side and slide on/off e rail
until it los/unlos. When properly installed,
e Cartridge will sit flush wi bo sides of
e phone case.
Testing
a spray test cartridge has Been
pre-installed for you.
The only difference between e Test Cartridge
and Pepper Cartridge is e habanero pepper
solution wiin e Cartridge. The Test Cartridge
does contain an ethanol base, so the same
precautions must be taken regardless of whi
Cartridge is installed.
STep 1
Go to a safe place to test e firing meanism.
An outdoor environment wi a simple (non-
human) target is recommended. Use tape to
aa a leer-sized paper target to an object
approximately eye level and 3–5 feet away
from you. Position yourself wi your ba to
e wind.

STep 2
Remove the Safety Clip from the Actuator
on e canister meanism.

Keep Safety Clip from e Test Cartridge and
add it to e spare Safety Clip Bag (provided).
If you misplace e Safety Clip of e Pepper
Canister, you’ll have extras.

Testing (CONTINUED II)
STep 3
Rotate e Actuator Knob into e firing position
by rotating e top lever down. You’ll see yellow,
whi means it is ready to fire.
Testing (CONTINUED III)
STep 4
You will have a few short shots to get familiar
wi e Test Cartridge and arming meanism
process. Bursts should be short, approximately
1/2 second in duration. Continue until Test
Cartridge is empty.
hint
It is recommended at you practice removing
e Safety Clip, turning e Actuator Knob to
e firing position, and depressing e Actuator
to fire e device wi your eyes closed—to
simulate a dark environment.
STep 5
Slide e Test Cartridge from e Rail System
and discard e Test Cartridge properly.
Install e Pepper Canister
STep 1
Pull e perforated tab and remove e shrink
wrap plastic from e Pepper Cartridge.
STep 2
Install e Pepper Cartridge by sliding it onto
e Rail System until you feel it lo in place.
See Rail System diagram on reverse.

Pepper Spray Effects
Pepper spray causes a severe burning sensation
in e eyes, copious tears, coughing, and difficulty
in breaing. The eyes close involuntarily, e
nose runs and moist skin stings. If exposed,
please take e precautionary steps. Symptoms
should subside in approximately 45 minutes.
in case of accidental exposure
• Remove contact lenses and contaminated
cloing immediately.
• Wash e exposed area wi soap and water
to remove all oils and dirt, whi might entrap
e irritant (including cloes).
• Flush e exposed area oroughly wi cold
water for 3–5 minutes.
• Keep e washed areas exposed to fresh air to
allow e irritant to evaporate.
• You may need to repeat ese steps several
times to remove all of e pepper oils.
• Do not apply oily or greasy medications. They
could furer trap e irritants.
• Do not bandage e exposed areas; keep e
area exposed to fresh air.
• In e event of ingestion—never give fluids or
induce vomiting. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.
• If e victim is unconscious, having convulsions,
difficulty breathing, or if symptoms persist
SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION or call 9-1-1.

When To Use It
Below are some recommendations as to when
to use e device.
• It is recommended that the case be carried
in hand in a potentially dangerous place or
situation (when walking alone, entering
buildings, hallways, elevators, parking lots,
etc), but the best protection is to avoid
potentially dangerous locations and situations.
• If you are in a situation where you feel unsafe,
you may want to remove e Safety Clip, and
possibly rotate e Actuator Knob to e fire
position—so you are ready to protect yourself.
Remember to put e safeties ba into position
when you feel safe.
• You should try to escape from an aaer first,
and en be ready to use your pepper spray if
you have to.
• Try to escape in e opposite direction from
where you sprayed e pepper spray.
• Pepper spray can take a few seconds to
work. Pepper spray may not be effective
against armed attackers, or on enraged,
drugged, or intoxicated people.
• Pepper spray is not recommended for use by
people wi respiratory ailments.
Tips/Notes
• Keep your finger off e trigger until you are
ready to shoot.
• For best results, spray from ear to ear across
e eyes of intended target.
• After spraying intended target, move
immediately to safety and call for help.
• The effective pressure within the aerosol
cartridge decreases over time, and the
cartridge will need to be replaced by e date
printed on e ba of e cartridge.
• After spraying pepper spray, you should
remove your phone from e case and wash e
case, canister, and your hands in warm soapy
water to remove any pepper spray residue.
• Spraytect recommends at you replace e
Pepper Cartridge aer ea use, even if it was
only partially used.

LIMITed WARRANTy
This Spraytect LLC product is warranted against manufacturing
defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year.
This warranty begins on e original date of purase and is
valid only on products purased and used in e United States.
Spraytect LLC will repair or replace any part found to be defective,
at our option and at no arge to you, during e warranty period.
This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials
and workmanship encountered in e normal operation and use
of e product in accordance wi e enclosed instructions and
shall not apply to: applications and uses for whi is product
was not intended; altered products; accidents, abuse, neglect,
fire, water; and failure to follow operating instructions. There
are no express warranties oer at ose described above
and no warranties wheer express or implied, including,
but not limited to, any implied warranties of merantability
or fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply aer e express
warranty period stated above, and no oer express warranty

LIMITATIONS
Implied warranties, including ose of fitness for a particular
purpose and merantability (an unwrien warranty at e

date of purase. Spraytect LLC will not pay for: any special,
incidental or consequential damages (including any tort actions),
any damages resulting from e misuse or modification of e
product, any loss of use or claimed property damage. Damages

not allow limitations on implied warranties or e exclusion of
incidental or consequential damages, so e above exclusions
