Features:
Description:
The DMX1200 is a
game-changing 24 volt, DMX-
controlled power supply for Springtree
Lo-Vo lighting modules. It can power up to
(32) 30watt Spatial Flats, (16) 50watt Spatial Flats
or (80) LEDBoard12 LED Modules, all on a single 20 AMP
circuit.
Safety precautions
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock or re, do not expose this unit to moisture.
• Be sure that the local power outlet matches that of the required voltage for your unit.
• Disconnect from main power before making any type of connection.
• Do not remove the cover under any conditions. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
• Never plug this unit into a dimmer pack.
• This power supply is intended for indoor use ONLY.
• Always mount this unit in a safe and stable manner.
• Keep this manual for as long as you own this product!

Installation
1. The electrical connection to the DMX1200 is made via Powercon connector on
the rear. There is also a Powercon output provided to daisy-chain to other gear.
(reminder, if at max only one DMX1200 can be powered on a single 20amp circut.
Two could be used if neither of them are at max load. 1800 watts is max reccomened per
20amp circuit)
2. DMX connection is also made on the rear via 3 pin xlr connection. DMX comes
in from your lighting console and can be daisy-chained out to more DMX1200’s or
lighting xtures.
3. Connection to the Lo-Vo lights is made via pheonix connector. See connections
page for instruction on wireing each type of xture.
To install the DMX1200 you will need 2 rack spaces in a standard 19” rack. There
are 4 screw holes for mounting in the rack. Be sure to leave room in back for the electri-
cal and dmx wires and connectors. Do not block any vent holes on the top and sides.

The DMX1200 can power up to (32) 30watt Spatial Flats, (16) 50watt Spatial Flats or (80)
LEDBoard12 LED Modules, all on a single 20 AMP circuit. The image below shows the DMX1200
used with various combinations of each light per port. Each of the 8 ports must not exceed 150
watts (120w reccomended).

Installation - connections
Connect wires to pheonix connectors as shown here:
Warm White (50watt and 120watt) and all RGBW
For 50watt and 120 watt Warm White and all RGBW connect all 5 wires in this order:
Connector 1 Connector 2 Connector 3 Connector 4
+ = Black + = Black + = Black + = Black
R = Red R = Red R = Red R = Red

Warm White (12watt and 30watt)
For 12watt and 30watt Lo-Vo lights connect the Brown and Blue wires in this order:

+ = Brown + = Brown + = Brown + = Brown
R = Blue G = Blue B = Blue W = Blue
Connector 5 Connector 6 Connector 7 Connector 8

Operation - Menu
There are four buttons on the front of this unit: MENU, ENTER, UP and DOWN.
*Press MENU to choose your output mode, DMX address, color macro, user color as well as
PWM (pulse width modulation) mode.

Splitting Zones:
When the DMX1200 is being controlled by DMX there are 4 options to split zones. See the
images below showing the zone breakout.
4 channels (white) / 20 channels (rgbw) four
zones - outputs 1-2 combined, outputs 3-4
combined, outputs 5-6 combined, outputs
7-8 combined.
1 channel (white) / 5 channel (rgbw) one
zone - all 8 outputs combined
2 channels (white) / 10 channels (rgbw) two
zones - outputs 1-4 combined, outputs 5-8
combined
8 channels (white) / 40 channels (rgbw)
eight zones - all 8 outputs are separate

Troubleshooting:
Listed below are a few common problems that you may encounter
when using this product:
Unit not responding to DMX:
1. Check that the DMX cables are
connected properly and are
wired correctly. DMX output DMX input
2. Check that all cables are connected to the right connectors; it does matter
which way the inputs and outputs are connected.
