Troubleshooting
Problem Possible causes and solutions
Turns o
before boiling
1Scale has built up. De-scale the kettle.
2There is inadequate water in the kettle, causing the boil-
dry safety cut o to activate. Add cold water to the kettle
and leave for 2 minutes. This should reset the kettle.
Kettle will
not turn on
1Plug is not connected properly. Check connection.
2 Power cord is damaged. Return kettle for repair.
3 Boil-dry safety cut o has been activated. See above for
possible solution.
Particles in
water
Most likely caused by scale build.
De-scale the kettle as described in the instructions.
