Mains AC 100-255V connection
AC pow r is conn ct d to th splitt r full rang pow r supply with worldwid us via 1.8m
long UniSchuko cabl conn ct d to th splitt r via PG. Always r sp ct th markup of L
and N on conn ctors for corr ct wiring of Lin and N utral.
DMX connection
DMX conn ctors ar locat d on both sid s of th splitt r board. Th s ar s parat d to
two groups. First group is wir d in ratio 1:1 and mark d as DMX input and DMX thru. This
lin is not optically isolat d and wh n th d vic is last in lin , it should b t rminat d by
th t rmination r sistor of 120ohm wir d b tw n pins 2 and 3 of th DMX thru
conn ctor.
Th oth r group consists of 4-way optically isolat d lin s mark d with l tt rs A-D. Each
lin has a s parat pow r supply, lin driv r and th indication of signals D+, D- on both
signal lin s. Th s LEDs ar activ wh n splitt r is r transmitting DMX signal and th r is
no short circuit b tw n data lin s.
In cas of short circuit b tw n data pins D+/D- and th CMN pin, th LED conn ct d to
th data lin is off.

By d fault, Pow r LED indicat s th d vic is on main pow r. Wh n th Pow r LED is off,
ch ck th main pow r input. Wh n this do s not solv th probl m, pl as call s rvic
first and th n op n DSTS4 and ch ck fus s on th main board.
Wh n th DMX cabl is conn ct d to th d vic , LEDs mark d as D+ and D- go on for th
sid mark d as DMX input, thru and this indicat s that DSTS4 is r c iving th DMX signal.
Sp d of light on th s LEDs also indicat s th r fr sh rat of DMX signal. Fast blinking –
high r fr sh rat , slow blinking – slow r fr sh rat .
On th r ar pan l of DSTS4, th r ar outputs A-D, which ar r transmitting th input to
th optically isolat d outputs. If any of data LEDs is off, unplug th signal cabl
corr sponding to this output and ch ck th cabl for short circuit b tw n D+ and CMN or
D- and CMD lin s.
