Mains AC85-265V connection
AC pow r is conn ct d to th splitt r via N utrik Pow rCon blu conn ctor. Standard
supply is UNISCHUKO l ad with N utrik Pow rCon. Always r sp ct markup of L and N on
conn ctor for corr ct wiring of Lin and N utral.
Battery connection
Batt ry for DST4 pow r can b conn ct d to scr w t rminal on r ar sid of d vic . Th r
is no strict r quir m nt of polarity – you can us AC or DC pow r with limitation of voltag
12-24V.
DMX connection
DMX conn ctors ar locat d on both sid s of splitt r board. Th s ar s parat d to two
groups. 1
st
group is wir d 1:1 and mark d as DMX input and DMX thru. This lin is not
optically isolat d and wh n d vic is last in lin should b t rminat d by th t rmination
r sistor of 120ohm wir d b tw n pin 2 and 3 of it DMX thru conn ctor.
Th 2
nd
part of splitt r consists of 4 ways optically isolat d lin s mark d with l tt rs A-D.
Each lin has s parat pow r supply, lin driv r and indication of signals D+, D- on th
both signal lin s. Th s LEDs ar activ wh n splitt r is r transmitting DMX signal and
th r is no short circuit b tw n data lin s.
In cas of short circuit b tw n data pins D+/D- to th CMN pin th LED conn ct d to
data lin will b off.

By d fault Pow r LED indicat s th d vic is on main pow r. Unit should b pow r d from
th Mains AC85-230V switching pow r supply or from batt ry conn ct d to th AC/DC
scr w t rminal. Maximum input voltag on batt ry is in rang 12-24V. Wh n th r isn’t
pow r light pl as ch ck main pow r input. Wh n this not h lp pl as call s rvic first
and th n op n DST4 and ch ck fus s on main board.
Wh n th r is conn ct d th DMX cabl to d vic , LEDs mark d as D+ and D- go s ON for
sid mark d as DMX input, thru and this indicat s that DST4 is r c iving th DMX signal.
Sp d of light on th s LEDs also indicat s r fr sh rat of DMX signal. Fast blinking –
high r fr sh rat , slow blinking – slow r fr sh rat .
On r ar pan l of DST4 you can s outputs A-D which ar r transmitting th input to th
optically isolat d outputs. If th r is any of data LEDs off, unplug th signal cabl
corr sponding to this output and ch ck th cabl for short circuit b tw n D+ and CMN or
D- and CMD lin s. If th r is any probl m just s nd us an mail to s rvic @srslight.com or
