IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
The following general safety precautions have to be observed during all phases of
operation, service, and repair of this equipment. Failure to comply with these
precautions or with specific warning in this manual violates safety standards of
design, manufacture, and intended use of this equipment.
Do not operate in an explosive atmosphere
Do not operate this equipment in the presence of flammable gases or fumes.
Operation of any electrical instrument in such an environment constitutes a definite
safety hazard.
Water, moisture, heat and humidity
Do not operate this equipment near water or in areas with wet floors, also not in high
humidity atmosphere where condensation forms on the equipment. It should never
be placed near or over heat register or other source of heated air and it should not
be installed or operated without proper ventilation.
DMX connections
DMX 3 or 5 pin XLR connectors are located on front panel of device. These are
separated to two groups. 1
st
group is wired 1:1 and marked as IN and O T. This line
should be terminated by the termination switch marked T. When line is terminated by
120R resistor the red LED T. indicator is on.
The 2
nd
part of splitter consists of 10 way optically isolated lines marked with
numbers 1 - 10. Each line have separate power supply and line driver + indication of
signal on the both signal lines wit two LEDS marked as 2, 3.

Device use/servicing:
By default without any incoming signal there are all LEDS off and the ON LED
indicator indicates the device is on main power. The T. termination LED is ON when
the termination switch is activated.
When you connect the DMX cable to device, all LED marked as 2 / 3 or sign of signal
polarity goes ON and this indicates that DSR10 is functioning properly and
retransmitting the input to the splitted outputs. If there is any LED off check the
cable first – if there is short circuit on line the respective LED is off.
