AC pow r is conn ct d via N utrik Pow rCon blu conn ctor. Standard supply is UniSchuko l ad 1.5m with
N utrik Pow rCon. Always r sp ct marking of L and N on conn ctor for corr ct wiring of Lin and N utral
wh n th conn ctor is r pair d or r plac d. D vic is quipp d with MCB with 2A fusing capacity +
additional fus s.
DMX connection
DMX conn ctors ar locat d on th front sid of splitt r board. Th s ar s parat d to two groups. First
group is wir d in ratio 1:1 and is mark d as DMX input and DMX thru. This lin is not optically isolat d and
wh n d vic is th last in lin , it should b t rminat d by th t rmination switch of 120ohm.
Th oth r part of splitt r consists of 8 optically isolat d lin s mark d as 1-8. Each lin has a s parat pow r
supply, lin driv r and indication of signals D+, D- on both signal lin s. Th s LEDs ar activ wh n splitt r
is r transmitting DMX signal and th r is no short circuit b tw n data lin s.
In cas of short circuit b tw n data pins D+/D- to th CMN pin, th LED conn ct d to data lin will b off.

DST8-DIN splitt r is also quipp d with M10x20 point for C-clamp and S curing y conn ction point. Th s
points ar locat d on th right sid of th d vic . C-clamp is not includ d in th d vic .
Device in use:
By d fault, Pow r LED indicat s th d vic is on main pow r. If th r is no pow r light pr s nt, pl as
ch ck th main pow r input. If th DMX cabl is conn ct d to th d vic , LEDs mark d as D+ and D- go on
for sid mark d as DMX input, thru and this indicat s that DST8 is r c iving th DMX signal. Sp d of light
on th s LEDs also indicat s th r fr sh rat of DMX signal. Fast blinking – high r fr sh rat , slow blinking –
slow r fr sh rat .
Th r ar 8 optically isolat d outputs that r transmit th DMX input signal. If any of data LEDs is off, unplug
th signal cabl corr sponding to this output and ch ck th cabl for short circuit b tw n D+ and CMN or
D- and CMD lin s.
