IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
The following general safety precautions must be observed during all phases of
operation, service, and repair of this equipment. Failure to comply with these
precautions or with specific warnings in this manual violates safety standards
of design, manufacture, and intended use of this equipment.
Do not operate in an explosive atmosphere!
Do not operate this equipment in the presence of flammable gases or fumes.
Operation of any electrical instrument in such an environment constitutes
a definite safety hazard. Device should never be placed near or over heat
register or any other source of heated air and it should not be installed or
operated without proper ventilation.
Mains AC 90-265V connection
AC power is connected to the scroller via Neutri PowerCon blue connector.
Standard supply is UNISCHUKO lead with Neutri PowerCon. Always respect
mar up of L and N on connector for correct wiring of Line and Neutral.
DMX connection
DMX connectors are located on left front side of the Scroller power supply.
There are both 3-pin and 5-pin Neutri fitted in. Last WPSU in line should be
terminated by the termination resistor of 120ohm operated by switch close to
the DMX IN/OUT.
There is DATA LED indication for DMX data presence on the device. When
operating device is in Wireless DMX mode, the loss of radio signal will cause the
device switch automatically to the cable mode; the cable can be used as a
bac up of Wireless DMX line. Received Wireless DMX signal is not present on
the DMX IN/OUT connectors at all times.

On the front panel, there is a red POWER indication LED for the power supply
state. There is also a DATA LED for DATA indication. DATA LED is ON, when the
DMX signal is connected to the device or it is received by the Wireless DMX.
Wireless DMX is operated separately from the W-DMX module. Top button is the
MODE button and is used for ON/OFF operation of the wireless part.
Bottom W-DMX button is used for operation as Lin /Unlin from the Wireless DMX

Rea panel:
The MAINS fuse and MAINS connector /Neutri PowerCon/ are located on the rear
side of WPSU. On both long sides of device, there are 4 holes for M6 Eyebolt and 2
holes M10 for C-CLAMP attachment.

( 5 / 12)
Device in use:
By default, Power LED indicates whether the device is on main power. If the
Power LED does not come up, please chec mains power input or fuse. Always
use fuses of the same rating as the one received from manufacturer or one of
rating written on bac side.
When the DMX cable is connected to the device, LED mar ed DATA goes ON;
this indicates that WPSU is receiving the DMX signal. DATA LED indicates the
ON state of Termination during the Power On sequence. To avoid
misunderstanding between DATA and Termination indication, do not terminate
the device without DMX data. Once the DMX signal is received, the terminal
indication will be overridden by DMX DATA.
The speed of light on these LEDs also indicates the refresh rate of DMX signal.
DATA LED fast blin ing stands for high refresh rate, while slow blin ing means
slow refresh rate.
Sc olle connection:
Use only approved scroller cable. Approved cable should have two conductors of
14 AWG wire for power and two shielded and twisted conductors of 22 AWG wire
for data.
The following pinout for the 4-pin connector must be followed:
PIN1: DC_GND
PIN2: DATA-
PIN3: DATA+
PIN4: DC+24V
Optionally, unit can be equipped with DC12V/24V/36V/48V PSU
Additional scrollers can be daisy-chained together from the OUT plug. Connect the
last scroller to the return line of WPSU for termination and power supply.
