SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the instructions carefully as they include
important information about the installation, operation and
maintenance.
• Please keep this user’s guide for future consultation. If you sell the unit to
another user, be sure that they also receive this instruction booklet.
• All products leave the manufacturer intact. Please note that any damage
caused by the user is not covered by the warranty.
• Before using the unit, unpack it and check it carefully for transport
damage.
• The unit is for indoor use only. Use only in a dry location.
• These speakers are able to induce high acoustic sound pressure. Please
follow your regional rules in order to prevent irreversible ear damages.
• Never operate the items standing on any kind of transport board.
• Make sure that no ventilation slots are blocked, otherwise the unit will
overheat.
• Before operating, ensure that the voltage and frequency of the power
supply match the power requirements of the unit.
• Make sure all equipment is properly earthed.
• Do not operate the unit if the ambient temperature is higher than 40°C.
• On the first start, there may be some normal operational start-up smell.
• Look over power wires carefully and replace immediately if there is any
damage.
• Never run on for a long time lest shortening lifespan. Avoid any
inflammable liquids, water or metal objects entering the unit. In case it
happens, cut off the mains power immediately.
• Do not operate in a dirty or dusty environment. Clean the equipment
regularly.
• Do not allow unsupervised children to use the unit.
• Do not touch any wire during operation as there might be a hazard of
electric shock.
• Avoid placing power wires next to other cables.
• Disconnect the mains power before replacing or servicing the fuses.
• Replace fuse only with the same type
• In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using the unit
immediately.
• Never turn the unit on and repeatedly.
• The housing and components must be replaced if they are visibly
damaged.

• Do not open the unit as there is no user serviceable part inside.
• Never try to repair the unit by yourself. Repairs carried out by unskilled
people can lead to damage or malfunction. Please contact the nearest
authorized technical assistance center.
• Disconnect the mains power if the fixture is not used for a long time.
• Use the original packaging for transport in case of warranty issue.
INTRODUCTION
With modern design and easy usability, the AS series speakers are the
trusted choice for many applications including: Musical instrument
amplification, event production, DJ, venues and many more.
This 2-way full range speaker system is simple to set up and easy to
transport. It features multiple connecting and mixing possibilities, a USB
media player, as well as Bluetooth™ technology for seamless use with True
Wireless Stereo pairing (TWS).
ASB models are battery powered and include UHF microphones (one or two
depending on the version). These speakers are ready to use in seconds, no
matter where you are.

FUNCTIONS:
- MULTIMEDIA PLAYER: Audio player, Bluetooth™ device.
- USB INPUT USB Connector of the media player.
- MIC INPUT Plug a mic into this port for public address usage and let your
voice be heard. (No phantom power)
- AUX INPUT Connect a CD player, digital media player, mixer, or other
media source to these inputs.
MIX / LINE OUTPUT RCA or XLR output of the master signal of all input
sources for connection to a line input of a mixer, amplifier or another active
speaker.
- LINE / PLAYER TOGGLE SWITCH If you are using the media player,
press the switch down to select the media player as a source. To use the
Aux input, leave the switch up to select it. If this switch is not present line in
is automatically linked to the media player
- AUX / LINE INPUT VOLUME CONTROL This knob is used to control
volume of the Aux Input or media player.
- MASTER VOLUME CONTROL This knob is used to adjust the total
volume level.
- MIC VOLUME CONTROL This knob is used to control the Microphone
level.
- HIGH CONTROL This knob is used to regulate the amount High
frequency applied to the output signal.
- LOW CONTROL This knob is used to regulate the amount Low frequency
applied to the output signal.
- BANDS EQUALIZER: 5 faders to regulate the amount of different
frequencies applied to the output signal.
- POWER LED Indicates if the speaker is powered on or off.
- CLIP LED This LED will flash red if the input signal is clipping. If this
happens decrease the level of the Mic, Aux or media player volume.
- AC INPUT CONNECTOR Connect the included power cord to the AC
input connector before switch on the unit.

- POWER SWITCH This power switch turns on the system. Remember to
adjust the volume level to the lowest setting before turn on the power
switch.
- BATTERY MANAGEMENT: This section show you the battery level and
the battery charging status
Media player functions
Switches modes from Bluetooth™, FM radio and USB.
Play / Pause the USB or Bluetooth™ source. Press and hold Play / Pause for 2 seconds to start the preset
auto-store function. This jumps to the lowest station (87.5) and then travels through the bandwidth to auto-
store the strongest stations as presets.
Repeat the current playing USB track (ONE), repeat all tracks (ALL).
Navigates through USB tracks. Plays the previous USB or Bluetooth™ track. It also switch to the previous
radio preset when pressed once. Hold the button down to seek back through radio stations.
Plays the next USB or Bluetooth™ track, or switch to the next radio preset when pressed once. Hold the
button down to seek forward through radio stations.
TWS
Link two compatible speakers without cables. Please refer to specific section of this manual for more
information.
*Note: In some apps, pressing the Previous or Next buttons may go to another playlist or music
genre.

Bluetooth™
Setting up a Bluetooth™ Connection with Mobile Devices
The built-in audio player includes a
Bluetooth™ receiver allowing you to
stream music wirelessly from your
mobile devices such as smartphones,
tablets and notebooks.
1.Press the MODE button (repeatedly) on the audio player or the remote
control until the display indicates "BLUE".
2.Activate the Bluetooth™ function on your mobile device and pair it to the
receiver. The Bluetooth™ name of the speaker is "Stagg AS" and has a
range of approx. 10 meters.
3.Once the Bluetooth™ receiver is connected to your mobile device, the
media player’s display indicates "Stagg AS" and is ready to play music.
Then play music on your mobile device and the sound will come out from
the speaker system.
4.To interrupt or continue the playback, press the button
5.With the buttons and you can skip titles in forward or backward
direction.
6.To switch over to playback of a USB device press the button [MODE]
(repeatedly).

Link two AS series speakers through TWS (True Wireless Stereo)
All AS speakers have a special feature that will take your listening
experience to the next level. It's called True Wireless Stereo (TWS), and it's
a unique Bluetooth™ feature that will let you enjoy true stereo without the
use of cables.
TWS works as follows:
• You pair a primary Bluetooth™ speaker to your preferred
Bluetooth™-enabled audio source. Let’s call it the Master.
• Take a second AS speaker. Let’s call it the Slave. Pair it with the
Master by following this procedure:
1.Press TWS button for 3 seconds on the master speaker
2. Press TWS button for 3 seconds on the slave speaker
3. The two speakers will link together and you will hear an audio
signal.
• Once the two speakers have been paired with each other, and you
have verified that the Master is paired with your main audio source,
you can start listening to your music. You’ll find that upon doing so,
TWS will instantly work its magic and give you a definitive stereo
sound experience -- with properly separated left and right channel
audio output -- despite the lack of a wired connection between your
two speakers.
Please note that only the audio generated by the media player will be
broadcasted thanks to TWS. This means that only the music coming from a
phone linked to the master via Bluetooth™ or the music played from a USB
stick on the master will be heard on the Slave speaker.
The microphones or auxiliary inputs will not be sent via TWS to another
speaker.

Media player Remote
Note: Aim the remote straight at the front of the speaker woofer. Room
Lighting and battery Life can affect the operating range of the remote
control.
Note: if you are using the remote control for the first time, pull out the tab
attached to the battery compartment. To change the remote control battery,
follow the instructions placed on the back of the remote control. Use a 3V
DC CR2025 Lithium button cell battery for replacement.

Selects one of the following digital EQ presets to use with a media player

7.REVERSE
Switches to the previous USB track. When listening to Bluetooth™ sources,
pressing it in some apps may go to another playlist or music genre.
8.FORWARD
Advances to the next USB track. When listening to Bluetooth™ sources,
pressing it in some apps may switch to another playlist or music genre.
9.PLAY/PAUSE
Plays or pauses the USB or Bluetooth™ media player source.
Note: Files are played from the USB source first by alphabetical order of
what is on the root level, then alphabetical by folder, and then alphabetical
by the track name.
10.VOL -
Decreases the media player source volume.
11.VOL +
Increases the media player source volume.
12.NUMBER KEYS
Provides track selection for USB sources.
