This manual contains operating instructions and important safety information.
This Car Charger is designed to charge Li-Ion battery packs compatible with Star
Micronics Mobile Printers. The contents of this manual are subject to change with-
out prior notice.
1. Insert the Cigarette Lighter Adapter in the direction of the arrow below:
Note: In rare cases, this charger may be incompatible with your vehicle due to
the socket size.
2.The Car Charger begins the charging cycle, after printer is connected to it.
1. Operation Temperature: 0℃to 45℃(No Condensation)
2. Storage Temperature: -20℃to 80℃
3. Relative Humidity: 10% to 95% (No Condensation)
4. Cooling: Convectional (Non-Vented Case)
5. Applicable Printer Models: SM-S Series / SM-T Series
Information
• The recharging time depends on the voltage level and ambient temperature of the
battery. Normally, it takes about four (4) to five (5) hours to completely recharge
one battery pack.
• The battery is a consumable part that will gradually lose its lifespan over time, de-
pending on the total number of usage hours. Batteries approved for use with Star
Micronics Portable Printers typically carry standard warranties of six (6) months.

General Guidelines
Suitable Environment for the Use of the Car Charger is as Follows:
• Disconnect the charger from the power source immediately if you see smoke or
fire or feel bad smell or hear noise and so on.
• Keep the charger in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, high temperature,
and moisture.
• Do not operate the charger if it appears damaged.
• Do not disassemble, incinerate, or short circuit batteries, the charger, or related
components.
• Do not operate the charger when your hands or body are wet.
• Do not operate the charger near water.
• To reduce the risk of burn, unplug the charger before cleaning.
• This charger cannot be used for any other types of batteries.
• Use the printer after you stop the car, since it is dangerous to charge or use printer
during driving.
• Disconnect the charger from the power source when it is not use or has finished
charging a battery.
• Do not drop the charger. Impact can damage the unit.
• Never attempt to disassemble or alter any part of this product. Contact your deal-
er for assistance.

本マニュアルには、製品の正しい取り扱い方法と安全に関する重要な情報が記載されています。
本製品は、スターモバイルプリンタに適合したリチウムイオンバッテリーを充電する目的で使用
するよう設計されています。本マニュアルの内容は、予告なしに変更することがあります。
1. シガーレットライターアダプタをシガーレットライターソケットへ下図の矢印
方向に差し込んでください。
注意）一部の車種ではシガーレットライターソケットの形状が異なるため、
 ご使用になれません。
2.DCプラグをプリンタ本体につなぐと、充電が開始されます。
カーチャージャーの使用に適した環境は以下の通りです。
１.動作時温度:0℃
〜 45℃（非結露）
２.保存時温度:-20℃
〜 80℃
３.湿度:10%
〜 95%（非結露）
４.冷却:対流環境（通気口なし外装）
５.適応モデル:SM-Sシリーズ、SM-Tシリーズ
インフォメーション
•充電時間は、バッテリーの電圧や温度により異なります。通常、一つのバッテリーパックを完全
に充電するには、4〜5時間かかります。
•バッテリーは消耗品です。繰り返し使用すると、使用時間の累計に応じて、徐々に寿命が短くな
ります。スターモバイルプリンタ用に認可されたバッテリーの標準保証期間は6ヶ月です。

カーチャージャーの使用環境について
本製品を正しくご使用いただくために、以下のことをお守りください。
•発煙、発火、異臭、異音などがある場合は、直ちに本製品をシガーレットライターソケットから
抜いてください。
•直射日光および高温、高湿を避け、湿気の少ない涼しい場所に保管してください。
•破損した場合には、使用しないでください。
•本製品やバッテリー、その他関連部品を、分解したり、焼却したり、ショートさせたりしないでく
ださい。
•手や体が濡れた状態で、使用しないでください。
•水の近くで使用しないでください。
•ショートに伴う火傷の危険性がありますので、清掃する際には本製品をシガーレットライター
ソケットから抜いてください。
•本製品は、適応モデル以外のバッテリーに使用することはできません。
•運転中は危険ですので、充電や印刷は車が停車している状態の時に行うようにしてください。
•使用しないとき、あるいはバッテリーの充電が終了したときは、シガーレットライターソケット
から本製品を抜いてください。
•落下させたり、強い衝撃を与えないでください。故障の原因となります。
•不具合が発生した場合、絶対に分解したり改造したりせず、代理店へお問い合わせください。
