Choosing the right Cookware
Donotusecookwarewithjaggededgesoracurvedbase.
Makesurethatthebaseofyourpanissmooth,sitsatagainsttheglass,andisthesamesize
asthecookingzone.Alwayscentreyourpanonthecookingzone.
Alwaysliftpansofftheceramichob–donotslide,ortheymayscratchtheglass.

USING YOUR CERAMIC HOB
To start cooking
1.Placeasuitablepanonthecookingzonethat
youwishtouse.
• Makesurethebottomofthepanandthesurface
ofthecookingzonearecleananddry.
2.Adjustthepowerregulatingcontroltothedesired
leveltoturnonthecontrol
Hot hob warning indicator
Whentheglassplateishot,thehothobwarningindicatorwill
light.Don’ttouchtheglassplateuntiltheindicatorgoesout.
Itcanalsobeusedasanenergysavingfunctionifyouwantto
heatfurtherpans,usethehotplatethatisstillhot.
When you have nished cooking
Turnthecookingzoneoffbyturningthepower
regulatingcontrolto“OFF“toturnoffthecontrol.

INSTALLATION
Selection of installation equipment
Cutouttheworksurfaceaccordingtothesizesshowninthedrawing.
Forthepurposeofinstallationanduse,aminimumof5cmspaceshallbepreservedaround
the hole.
Besurethethicknessoftheworksurfaceisatleast30mm.Pleaseselectheat-resistantwork
surfacematerialtoavoidlargerdeformationcausedbytheheatradiationfromthehotplate.

Before locating the xing brackets
Theunitshouldbeplacedonastable,smoothsurface(usethepackaging).Donotapplyforce
onto the controls protruding from the hob.
Fixthehobontheworksurfacebyscrewfourbracketsonthebottomofhob(seepicture)
after installation.

Adjustthebracketpositiontosuitfordifferentworksurface’sthickness.

Cautions
1.Theceramiccookerhobmustbeinstalledbyqualiedpersonnelortechnicians.
Wehaveprofessionalsatyourservice.Pleaseneverconducttheoperationbyyourself.
2.Theceramiccookerhobshallnotbemountedtocoolingequipment,dishwashersand
rotary dryers.
3.Theceramiccookerhobshallbeinstalledsuchthatbetterheatradiationcanbeensured
to enhance its reliability.
4.Thewallandinducedheatingzoneabovetheworksurfaceshallwithstandheat.
5.Toavoidanydamage,thesandwichlayerandadhesivemustberesistanttoheat.

Connecting the hob to the mains power supply
Thepowersupplyshouldbeconnectedincompliancewiththerelevantstandard,orasingle-pole
circuitbreaker.themethodofconnectionisshownbelow.
1.Ifthecableisdamagedorneedsreplacing,thisshouldbedonebyanafter-sales
technicianusingthepropertools,soastoavoidanyaccidents.
2.Iftheapplianceisbeingconnecteddirectlytothemainssupply,anomnipolarcircuit
breakermustbeinstalledwithaminimumgapof3mmbetweenthecontacts.
3.Theinstallermustensurethatthecorrectelectricalconnectionhasbeenmadeandthat
itcomplieswithsafetyregulations.
4.Thecablemustnotbebentorcompressed.
5.Thecablemustbecheckedregularlyandonlyreplacedbyaproperlyqualiedperson.
