ATTENTION
The owner’s manual contains important operating and
maintenance instructions, for your safety, it is necessary
to refer to the manual.
DANGEROUS VOLTAGE
Conductor dangerous voltage, that may be of sufficient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons is
present within this product’s enclosure.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
LOCATION OF UNIT
• The unit must be placed on a flat stable
surface and should not be subjected to
vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or
unstable surfaces as the unit may fall off
or tip over.
• The mains socket must be located near
the unit and should be easily accessible.
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature,
either hot or cold. Place the unit well
away from heat sources such as radiators
or gas/electric fires. Avoid exposure to
direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
• Never place any type of candle or naked
flame on the top of or near the unit.
• To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or
product damage, do not expose this unit
to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing.
No objects filled with liquids, such as
vases, should be placed on the unit.
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can
cause serious damage. Switch it off at the
mains immediately. Withdraw the mains
plug and consult your dealer.
READ BEFORE OPERATING EQUIPMENT
Read all the instructions carefully before
using the unit and keep them for future
reference. Check that the voltage marked
on the rating label matches your mains
voltage.
CORRECT DISPOSAL
Correct Disposal of this product. This marking indicates
that this product should not be disposed with other
household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent
possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to
promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
To return your used device, please use the return and
collection systems or contact the retailer where the
product was purchased. They can take this product for
environmental safe recycling.

SAFETY
• Always disconnect the unit from the
mains supply before connecting/
disconnecting other devices or moving
the unit.
• Unplug the unit from the mains socket
during a lightning storm.
• This unit will become warm when used for
a long period of time. This is normal and
does not indicate a problem with the unit
MAINS CABLE
• Make sure the unit is not resting on top of
the mains cable, as the weight of the unit
may damage the mains cable and create
a safety hazard.
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent, or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
INTERFERENCE
• The normal function of the product may
be disturbed by Strong Electro Magnetic
Interference. If so, simply reset the
product to resume normal operation by
following the instruction manual. In case
the function could not resume, please use
the product in other location.
• This unit includes micro-processors
which may malfunction as a result of
external electrical interference/noise or
electrostatic discharge. If the unit is not
working properly, disconnect the power
source and then reconnect it.
SERVICE / MAINTENANCE
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do
not remove screws. The unit does not
contain any user-serviceable parts. Please
leave all maintenance work to qualified
personnel.
• Do not open any fixed covers as this may
expose dangerous voltages.
• Ensure to unplug the unit from the mains
socket before cleaning. Do not use any
type of abrasive pad or abrasive cleaning
solutions as these may damage the unit’s
surface. Do not use liquids to clean the
unit.

FEATURES AND OPERATION
PREPARATION
To operate the unit, the following external resources are required
• A power source (100-240 V mains supply)
• A wireless (Wi-Fi) network (provided through a router) with appropriate permissions and
password if necessary.
• All Music streamers need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
• Download the Spotify app for your mobile or tablet from the app store.

1. STANDBY
Press to power on and once again to
return to standby.
2. PLAY/PAUSE
When playing , briefly press to initiate
playback. Press during playback to
Pause playback and press again to
resume playback.
3. MODE
Press to select Internet radio, Spotify
connect, Music player, Bluetooth modes
playback.
4. RESET
Press the ”RESET” button for 5 seconds
to factory reset the MS2.
5. LINE OUT for Stereo
3.5mm stereo output to be connected
to your existing amplifier or powered
speakers which have a 3.5mm stereo
input.
6. SPDIF OPTICAL Output
Connect to your speaker or amplifier
or other audio equipment which has an
OPTICAL input
7. DC Power input
Connect to the supplied 5V DC 1A
power adaptor.
8. LED
There are various LED states, outlined
below:
• Solid Green – Spotify/ DMR/
Bluetooth playback mode
• Solid White – Music player Playback
Mode
• Solid Blue – Internet radio playback
mode.
• Fast Flashing Green - Error, please
wait or reset the MS2
9. WPS
Press to pair to the network.

ANDROID APP - MS2 SETUP
2.1 INTRODUCTION
Start the music streamer setup by selecting
the audio device wizard from the first screen.
2.2 DEVICE PRESENTATION
The second page displays an animation of
the music streamer in its initial state (WAP
mode). The LED should be blinking slowly ~1/
sec. Swipe to continue.

2.3 SELECT YOUR MUSIC STREAMER
The third page shows the available music
streamers in WAP mode. If your music
streamer is not present then press “Rescan”.
Swipe to next page should be disabled if
the phone is not connected to any Music
streamer.
Tap on the desired music streamer to
connect to it. A progress circle should
appear on the right hand side of the screen.
After the connection is complete it should
skip to the next page automatically.

If the APP is already connected to the MS2,
then the list item should display a checked
symbol at the right side. Swipe to next page
should be enabled. To connect to a different
Music streamer, tap on another list item.
2.4 NAME YOUR MUSIC STREAMER
The fourth page is for changing the music
streamer to a ‘friendly’ name. The editable
box will be filled with the current friendly
name. If you do not wish to change the
name, swipe to skip to next page.

2.5 SET UP WI-FI
The fifth page shows the network
configuration for the Music streamer.
After the scan is complete, a list of Wi-Fi
networks is shown. Tap on a list item to
select the network. Swipe to next page is
disabled.
A dialog is shown and the user should enter
the Wi-Fi passcode. If Ok is selected then it
skips automatically to the next page.

ANDROID APP - MS2 SETUP
To enable manual network settings, tap on
the settings button in the top-right corner.
A drop-down menu with options is shown.
If the settings button is not shown then the
phone has a hardware menu button that will
show the options menu.
For static IP configuration a display is shown
with editable boxes. Warning: the MS2 IP,
gateway IP and subnet mask must be filled in
order to use static IP addresses, otherwise it
reverts back to DHCP.

For manual network config (manual Wi-Fi
SSID configuration), the Wi-Fi WAP list is
replaced with:
Press “commit configuration” to go to
the next page.
2.6 ALMOST DONE
This page will show a progress bar and a
description text while the configuration is
being sent to the MS2.

2.7 FINISH SETUP
A dialogue box states the configuration is
successful and asks if you want to setup a
new MS2.

3.1 READY?
Start the music streamer setup by selecting

3.3 WI-FI SETTINGS
The third screen instructs the user to go
to iOS settings app and select the music
streamer to connect to it. The user should
go back to the app after selecting the Music
streamer.
3.4 CONNECTING TO THE MUSIC
STREAMER
The next screen is presented once the music
streamer is connected in WAP mode.

3.5 NAME YOUR MUSIC STREAMER
The next page is for changing the music
streamer to a ‘friendly’ name. The edit box
will be filled with the current friendly name. If
you do not wish to change the name, swipe
to skip to next page.
3.6 SETUP WI-FI (1)
The app will start scanning for available
Wi-Fi networks. After the scan is complete,
a list of Wi-Fi networks is shown. Tap on a
list item to select the network. Swipe to next
page is disabled unless a network is selected.

3.7 SET UP WI-FI (2)
You will be asked for the selected Wi-Fi
configuration: password and DHCP option.
If you wish set up a network manually there
is an option at the end of the WAP list. Tap
‘Other’.

3.8 ALMOST DONE
This page will show a progress bar and a
description text while the configuration is
being sent to the radio Music streamer.
3.9 FINISH SETUP
After the music streamer is setup, the
phone/tablet will connect to the Wi-Fi it
was previously connected to (before the
user manually connected it to the music
streamer WAP) or to another Wi-Fi network
– depending on the Settings.
The app will try to search and connect to
the newly setup Music streamer. The user is
offered the possibility to setup a new audio
Music streamer. A success message is shown.
