OÙ INSTALLER VOS
THERMOSTATS MAESTRO?
Un minimum de planication permettra
d’optimiser le réseau maillé de MAESTRO
et favori sera une bonne communication
entre les appareils.
Le thermostat doit être installé à environ
1,5 m (5 pi) du sol, sur un mur inté rieur
faisant face au système de chauffage.
Prévoyez d’installer le contrôleur dans un
endroit central. Cela favorisera la commu-
nication vers les différentes pièces. Dans
l'exemple cicontre, le contrôleur pourrait
être positionné à l’entrée du salon (1) ou
de la salle à manger (2).
Le signal pourrait avoir de la difculté
à se rendre jusqu’à la salle de bains des
maîtres puisqu’il pourrait être entravé
par la laveuse/sécheuse (3) et la douche
(4). Si un thermostat MAESTRO est placé
dans la chambre des maîtres (5), il pourra
toutefois relayer les signaux entre le con-
trôleur et le thermostat de la salle de bains
des maîtres.
ATTENTION : Laissez un dégagement
d’au moins 30 cm (12 po) autour du
thermostat pour qu’il soit adéquatement
ventilé.
WHERE TO INSTALL YOUR
MAESTRO THERMOSTAT?
A bit of planning will optimize MAESTRO’s
mesh network and ensure that devices
communicate well.
Install the thermostat at approximately
1.5 m (5 ft.) from the oor, on an indoor
wall that faces the heating system.
Plan to install the controller in a
central location. Doing so will facilitate
communication with the various rooms.
In this example, the controller could be
positioned at the entrance of the living
room (1) or dining room (2).
The signal may have a hard time getting
to the master bathroom as the washer/
dryer (3) and shower (4) could be barriers.
If a MAESTRO thermostat is placed in the
master bedroom (5), it will help relay the
signals between the controller and the
master bathroom thermostat.
IMPORTANT: Leave a clearance of
at least 30 cm (12 in.) around the
thermostat to ensure it is properly
ventilated.

contrôler plus de 4 000 Watts au total.

A MAESTRO thermostat cannot control
more than 4000 Watts in total.

Couper l’alimentation électrique
du système de chauffage. Turn off the heating system’s power supply.
ATTENTION : Pour éviter les risques
d'incendie, de choc électrique ou
d'électrocution, couper le courant au
panneau électrique et s'assurer que le
circuit est bien coupé. Suivre le code
électrique en vigueur dans votre région.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of re,
electric shock, or electrocution, turn off
the power at the electrical panel and
make sure the circuit is properly shut
down. Follow the electrical code effec-
tive in your region.

Retirer l'ancien thermostat et xer
laplaque de montage du thermostat

secure the MAESTRO thermostat
mounting plate to the electrical box.

(Plinthe / Aéroconvecteur)
• Mode vestibule
(Pièce standard / Vestibule)
NOTE: Le mode vestibule est une
option si le mode de chauffage est
Aéroconvecteur.

CONNECTER LE THERMOSTAT

1 - Sur le contrôleur • thermostat,
accédez à :
– RÉGLAGES
– CONFIG ZIGBEE
– AJOUTER UN THERMOSTAT.
L’écran AJOUTER UN THERMOSTAT

Zigbee utilisé.
2 - Sur le thermostat, accédez au menu 1
et sélectionnez l'option de connexion
automatique (ON). Vous pouvez aussi
sélectionner le canal indiqué à l'écran
du contrôleur • thermostat.
3 - Sur le thermostat, touchez le
bouton pour conrmer la sélec-
tion. L’icône clignote rapidement
pendant que le thermostat cherche
le canal. Le canal Zigbee s’afche
quand la connexion est établie.
Une fois le thermostat connecté au réseau
Zigbee du contrôleur • thermostat,
l’icône s’afche sur l’écran d’accueil.
Si le thermostat ne détecte aucun réseau
Zigbee, le message « Err » s’afche sur le
thermostat
CONNECTING A THERMOSTAT TO
THECONTROLLER • THERMOSTAT
1 - On the controller • thermostat, access:
– SETTINGS
– ZIGBEE SETUP
– ADD A NEW THERMOSTAT.
The screen ADD A NEW THERMOSTAT
on the controller • thermostat will display
the Zigbee channel being used.
2 - On the thermostat, access menu
1 and select the the autoconnect
option (ON). You can also select
the channel displayed by the
controller • thermostat.
3 - On the thermostat, tap the
button to conrm the selection.
The icon will blink rapidly while
the thermostat searches for the
channel. The Zigbee channel will
display them when the connection is
established.
When the thermostat is connected to the
controller • thermostat’s Zigbee network,
the icon will appear on the home
screen.
If the thermostat does not detect a Zigbee
network, an "Err" message will appear on
the thermostat.

de fenêtre ouverte.  Option uniquement
disponible si le mode vestibule est pièce
standard ( )
• Menu Réinitialisation par défaut (dEF)

To access the advanced menus, hold the
center button for 3 seconds.
• Menu 10: Zigbee connectivity ( )
• Menu 20: Temperature format (°C or °F)
• Menu 30: Heating mode ( )
• Menu 31: Lobby mode (Standard room /
Lobby)  Option only available if the
heating mode is Fan forced and if the
open window detection is deactivated
• Menu 40 : Activate/deactivate proximity
detection
• Menu 50: Lock/unlock keyboard ( )
• Menu 60 : Activate/deactivate open win-
dow detection.  Option only available if
the Lobby mode is Standard room ( )
• Menu Reset to Default (dEF)
