PACK CONTENTS
Familiarize yourself with the parts names and confirm that all parts are included.

Check contents
Separate all parts from the package and check everything against the packing
list.
Make sure all parts are accounted for before discarding any packaging
material.
If any parts are missing, do not attempt to install your Free electronic flush
valve until you obtain the missing parts.
Warnings
Do not install the system facing a mirror or any other electronic system operated
by an infra-red sensor.
To prevent reflection problems, it is recommended to keep a minimum distance
of 1.50 meters between the electronic flush valve and any other objects.
Preparation for Installation
Flush water supply lines thoroughly before installing the flush valve. Do not
allow dirt, Teflon tape or metal particles to enter the flush valve.
Shut off water supply.
Important
All plumbing is to be installed in accordance with applicable codes and
regulations.

FLUSH VALVE INSTALLATION
1. Ensure that the central water supply has been turned off at the corner valve.
2. Install the flush valve on
the wall connected to the
mains water supply.
3. Use the sealing thread or
Teflon tape to seal the screw
thread connection. Fit the
wall flange between the inlet
opening of the regulating
valve and the surface of the
wall.
4. Insert the inlet pipe and rubber seal into the opening in the urinal.
5. Push the inlet pipe into the water outlet opening of the flush valve and tighten the
locking screw.
6. Turn on the mains water supply again
and check the installation for leaks.
7. Ensure that the regulating valve is fully
open by turning it anti-clockwise.
8. Remove the sticker that is covering the
sensor. The battery is already connected
and the flush valve is now operational.
9. Carry out functional check. If the
sensor coverage area is not adequate
it can be readjusted following the
procedure in the “Settings adjustment”
section.

SETTINGS ADJUSTMENT
The sensor range is the greatest distance that an object can be away from the
sensor to activate the flush valve. The sensor is factory preset. If necessary, it
may be adjusted as follows:
Adjusting the sensor settings with a remote control – optional and
recommended:
In order to adjust the sensor with a Remote Control you should hold the Remote
Control straight in front of the sensor in a distance of about 4” (10cm). Choose
the function you want to adjust by pressing once on one of the function buttons.
After pressing once on a specific function button, a quick flashing of the red light
in front of the sensor will occur. At this stage, you can change the adjustment
by pressing the (-) or (+) buttons, every push will increase or decrease one
level. After finishing the adjustment, turn on the water supply.

RANGE: Press + to increase the detection range and – to decrease
the detection range of the sensor.

FLOW TIME: Changes the Flush valves flush time, once the user
leaves the urinal or the toilet. Press + to increase the flow time
and – to decrease it.

SETTINGS ADJUSTMENT
The remote control can also be used to adjust:
DELAY IN: Changes the time the water will start flowing when the
user is within the sensor range. Press + to increase it and – to
decrease it.

DELAY OUT: Changes the time interval the water starts to flush
after the user has left the toilet or urinal. Press + to increase it
and – to decrease it.

ON/OFF: Press this function button and the flush valve will remain
off for 1 minute. To cancel this function press the on/off again.

6RESET: This function allows to come back to all the factory
settings. Press the Reset button and without releasing it, press
one time the + button.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Battery models only
When the battery weakens, the red indicator light will blink at a constant rate when
the user comes within the sensor range. The battery must be replaced within two
weeks.
1. Turn off the regulating valve
2. Unscrew the cover of the electronics unit and remove it.
3. Replace the old battery with a new 9V battery (lithium battery recommended).
4. Check that the outer O-ring is not damaged. Replace the O-ring if necessary.
5. Dry the inside of the cover and interior of the flush valve body carefully.
ATTENTION The interior of the flush valve body and the cover plate with the
electronic cap must be fully dry before reassembling the parts.
6. Replace the electronic unit cover and screw it tight.
7. Open the regulating valve once again.
Important: Spent batteries should not be disposed of with normal household waste.
Contact your local authority for information on waste disposal and recycling.

MAINTENANCE
Filter cleaning instructions
This flush valve is provided with a steel filter preventing foreign particles to enter
the lines. If the water flow has decreased, this can be because the filter is clogged.
The filter can be cleaned as follows:
1. Turn-off the regulating valve.
2. Disassemble the electronic flush valve from the regulating valve.
3. Remove the filter and wash it under running water.
4. Reassemble the filter.
5. Reassemble the electronic flush valve.
6. Turn on the regulating valve and adjust the flow capacity.
7. Make sure that there is no water leakage.
Care and cleaning of chrome and special finishes
DO NOTuse steel wool or cleansing agents containing alcohol, acid, abrasives, or the
like. Use of any prohibited cleaning or maintenance products or substances could
damage the surface of the flush valve. For surface cleaning of flush valve use ONLY
soap and water, then wipe dry with clean cloth or towel. When cleaning bathroom
tile, the flush valve should be protected from any splattering of harsh cleansers.

LIMITED WARRANTY
This product is covered by a limited warranty for two years from date of
purchase.
During this period, the manufacturer undertakes, at its option, to repair or
replace any faults caused by defective materials or manufacturer defaults that
may arise.
The guarantee does not cover faults or damage caused by incorrect installation
and/or maintenance, wear and tear, battery, or water composition. This includes,
but is not limited to the following:
- Incorrect installation, inversions of supply pipes
- Pressures or temperatures exceeding recommended limits
- Improper manipulation, tampering, bad or lapsed maintenance
- Foreign bodies, dirt or scale introduced by the water supply

Contrôle du contenu
Sortez toutes les pièces de leur emballage et vérifiez chaque pièces à l’aide
du chapitre sur le contenu de l’emballage.
S’il y a des pièces qui manquent, SVP, n’essayez pas d’installer le déclencheur
électronique avant avoir reçu toutes les pièces détachées qui manquent.
Vérifiez que toute les pièces y sont avant de mettre l’emballage de côté.
Mise en garde
N’installez pas le système électronique devant un miroir ou un autre système
électronique qui fonctionne par déclenchement d’infra rouge.
Il est recommandé de respecter une distance minimale de 1,5m entre la vanne
de vidange électronique et les autres objets afin d’éviter les problèmes de
réflexion.
Préparation pour installation
Rincez à fond les tuyaux de raccordement d’eau avant d’installer le
déclencheur électronique.
Faites attention qu’aucune saleté, qu’aucun ruban teflon, qu’aucun fil
d’étanchéité ni de copeaux métalliques ne se trouve à l’intérieur de la
soupape de vidange.
Coupez l’alimentation d’eau centrale.
Important
Tous les travaux sur les installations hydrauliques doivent être effectués
en accord avec les lois et les directives valides, qu’elles soient locales ou
nationales.

INSTALLATION
1. Assurez-vous que l’amenée d’eau centrale est coupée à la vanne du coin.
2. Installez le déclencheur
électronique au mur et branchez
la à l’amenée d’eau.
3. Utilisez le joint d’étanchéité ou
la bande teflon pour étanchéifier
les vis au tuyau. Fixez la bride
murale entre l’ouverture
d’encastrement de la vanne de
réglage et la surface murale.
4. Introduisez le tuyau d’amenée en même temps que la garniture en caoutchouc
dans l’ouverture de l’urinoir.
5. Raccordez le tuyau d’amenée dans l’ouverture de sortie d’eau du déclencheur
électronique et serrez la vis de sécurité.
6. Rétablissez l’amenée d’eau centrale et
contrôlez l’installation et l’étanchéité.
7. Assurez-vous que la vanne de régulation est
complètement ouverte en tournant en sens
inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
8. Enlevez l’autocollant qui couvre le
déclencheur. La batterie est déjà raccordée
et le déclencheur électronique est maintenant
prête à fonctionner.
9. Effectuez le contrôle de fonctionnement. Si la zone du déclencheur n’est pas
satisfaisante, on peut la réajuster selon la procédure décrite dans le chapitre
“Reglage de la zone du déclencheur”.

RÉGLAGE DE LA MISE AU POINT
DU DÉCLENCHEUR
Le champ de détection est la distance la plus grande qu’un objet peut avoir
pour activer le déclenchement d’urionir. Le déclencheur possède le réglage
d’usine correspondant aux habitudes courantes des utilisateurs. Si nécessaire,
la mise au point peut être réglée comme suit:
Réglage de la mise au point du déclencheur avec la commande de distance –
en option et recommandée:
Tenez lacommandeàdistanceexactementdevantledéclencheuràunedistance
d’environ 5-10 cm. Choisissez la fonction voulue pour régler en appuyant une
fois sur le bouton de fonction. Quand le signal de la commande à distance a été
reconnu, la lumière rouge du déclencheur clignotera rapidement. A ce moment,
vous pouvez modifier le réglage en appuyant sur le bouton (+) ou le bouton (-);
chaque appui augmentera ou diminuera le niveau.
Quand le réglage a été fait, n’oubliez pas d’ouvrir l’amenée d’eau.

RÉGLAGE DE LA MISE AU POINT
DU DÉCLENCHEUR
LE CHAMP (RANGE) La commande à distance peut être
utilisée pour addapter: Cette fonction modifie la distance de
reconnaissance. Appuyez le (+) pour augmenter ou le (-) pour
diminuer la reconnaissance.

DUREE DU RINCAGE (FLOW TIME): Cette fonction modifie la durée
du rinçage quand l’utilisateur quitte l’urinoir ou les toilettes.
Appuyez le (+) pour augmenter ou le (-) pour diminuer la durée.

TEMPORISATION DU RINÇAGE (DELAY IN): Cette fonction modifie
le moment que l’eau commencera à coulé quand l’utilisateur est
dans le champ de détection. Appuyez le (+) pour augmenter ou le
(-) pour diminuer le délai.

TEMPORISATION DU RINÇAGE (DELAY OUT): Cette fonction
modifie le délai d’écoulement d’eau après que l’utilisateur a quitté
l’urinoir ou les toilettes. Appuyez le (+) pour augmenter ou le (-)
pour diminuer le délai.

ON / OFF: Cette fonction permet de faciliter le nettoyage du
déclenchement d’urinoir. Quand vous appuyez sur ce bouton, le
déclenchement d’urinoir reste inactif pendant environ 1 minute.
Appuyez encore une fois le bouton On/Off pour désactiver cette
fonction.

6RESET: Cette fonction vous permet de retourner à l’installation
d’usine. Appuyez le bouton RESET et sans lâcher le bouton,
appuyez une fois le +.
