Your new wine cooler has a temperature range of between 7ºC and 18ºC, the default

Care and maintenance
Cleaning the wine cooler
• Unplug the wine cooler and remove all items including the bottle shelves and
straight shelves.
• Wash the inside surfaces with a solution of warm water and baking soda (about
2 tablespoons of baking soda dissolved in 250ml of water).
• Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution.
• Rinse all parts well and wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
• Clean the outside of the wine cooler with mild detergent and warm water.
• Make sure to wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning
around the area of the controls or any electrical parts.
Power failure
• Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the
temperature of your wine cooler if you minimise the number of times the door is
opened. If the power is going to be off for a longer period of time, you need
to take the correct steps to protect your contents.
Vacation time
• Short vacations: Leave the wine cooler operating during vacations of less than
three weeks.
• Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove
all items and unplug the power cord. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly. To
prevent odours and mould growth, leave the door open slightly, blocking it open if
necessary.
Moving the wine cooler
• Remove all items out of the wine cooler.
• Securely tape down all loose items (shelves and racks) inside the wine cooler.
• Turn the levelling foot up to the base to avoid damage.
• Tape the door shut.
• Protect the outside of the wine cooler with a blanket or similar soft material
and make sure the wine cooler stays secure in the upright position during
transportation.
Energy saving tip
• Install the wine cooler in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing
appliances and out of direct sunlight.
