Important safety instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to

• Only use this wine cooler for its intended purpose.The manufacturer accepts no
responsibility for any damage due to improper use.
• Before cleaning the wine cooler, make sure it is unplugged from the power socket.
Never clean the unit with a chemical substance, oil or abrasive cleaners, as this
could damage the refrigerator.
• Repairs should only be made by authorised service centres.The manufacturer
accepts no responsibility for any damage due to repairs made by unqualified
personnel.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by the person responsible for their safety.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of re:
• Only use the same type of fuse when replacing the fuse.
• Only install the wine cooler freestanding.
• Do not use extension cords.

Before throwing away your old wine cooler:
• Take off the door and leave the shelves in place so children may not easily climb
inside.
CAUTION: To ensure best performance:
• Install the wine cooler on a flat floor and leave 2cm wide gaps at each side and
a 10cm wide gap at the back.
• Use the adjustable iron case to place the cellar fully horizontal. ????WHAT DOES
THIS MEAN???
• Avoid putting the wine cooler in direct sunlight.
• Do not place heavy articles on top of the wine cooler.

Operation of the wine cooler
IMPORTANT:This cooler is unsuitable for fresh food storage.The temperature in the
cabinet is only adjustable from 11˚C to 18˚C, which is recommended for
wine storage, but unsuitable for perishable food.
• When the power is connected, the cooling system starts to work.You can set the
temperature in the cabinet to anywhere within the cooling range with the TEMP-
ADJ button, pressing“+” or “-”to increase or decrease the temperature you want.
• Once the set temperature is reached, the cooling system stops cooling and the
temperature inside the cabinet rises gradually.When it climbs above the set point,
the self-control cooling system kicks in again, starting another cooling cycle until
the temperature inside the cabinet reaches the set point again, cycling on and off.
• NOTE: After setting the desired temperature, the LED display will show the current
temperature inside the cabinet.

Maintenance
• Shut off the power supply before cleaning the cabinet.
• Take out all bottles and shelves and then clean the cabinet with water
and bicarbonate of soda followed by clean water.
• Do not use soap or detergent for cleaning the cabinet.
• Clean the cabinet regularly.

Pull out the plug to stop the power
and defrost manually. Reconnect to
power when the ice has thawed.

Connection to power
• For your own safety, read the following instructions carefully before attempting to
connect this unit to the mains power supply.
• Before connecting, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (bottom of
the appliance) corresponds with the main voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, consult your dealer and do not use.
• This appliance may be fitted with a non-rewirable plug. If you need to change the
fuse in a non-rewirable plug, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover is lost
or damaged, the plug must not be used until a replacement is obtained (available
from the appliance manufacturer, call the after sales support line).
• If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or is
damaged, have an appropriate plug fitted according to the wiring instructions.The
plug removed must be disposed of safely, as insertion into a mains socket is likely to
cause an electrical hazard.
• This unit must be earthed.This equipment must be disconnected from the mains
when not in use.
• Do not allow this unit to be exposed to rain or moisture.
• You should only plug the appliance into a 220V-240V AC~50Hz supply. Connecting
it to other power sources may damage the appliance.
