ACCÈS À D’AUTRES PROGRAMMES :
La lampe frontale USB ProTac HL®est munie d’un inter-
rupteur programmable TEN-TAP®permettant à l’utilisateur
de sélectionner un des trois programmes différents. Pour
passer au programme suivant, en commençant par la posi-
tion « Off », tapez sur l’interrupteur rapidement à 9 reprises
(en moins de 0,4 seconde par pression) et maintenez-le
enfoncé à la 10è reprise. Continuez de maintenir l’interrup-
teur jusqu’à ce que la lampe s’éteigne (approximativement
1 seconde), puis relâchez l’interrupteur. Les programmes
disponibles sont : High-Medium-Low (programme par
défaut d’usine), High uniquement ou Low-Medium-High.
CHARGEMENT DE LA PILE STREAMLIGHT LITHIUM ION :
Pour charger la pile fournie Streamlight lithium ion (Réf.
74175), tirez la fiche en caoutchouc du port micro USB sur
le bas de la lampe pour exposer le port de charge et la DEL
du voyant de charge.
À l’aide du cordon fourni, branchez le connecteur mi-
cro USB dans la prise correspondante de l’éclairage.
Branchez ensuite le connecteur USB standard sur le port
USB de votre ordinateur ou d’un autre port USB disponible.
Si vous avez un chargeur en option USB/CA de Stream-
light (n° 22071), branchez le connecteur USB dans la
lampe et chargez la lampe à l’aide de l’alimentation CA.
DEL VOYANT INDICATEUR DE CHARGE :
La lampe est munie d’une DEL voyant indicateur de charge :
- DEL rouge : charge en cours
- DEL verte : entièrement rechargé
DURÉE DE CHARGE :
L’éclairage est doté d’un circuit de commande numérique
qui évite les surcharges. La pile se recharge complètement
en environ 5 heures avec le chargeur Streamlight CA/USB
(n° 22071) et charge la pile dans la lampe.
REMARQUE : la durée de chargement de 5 heures part de
l’hypothèse d’une puissance de 1 000 mA pour un char-
geur CA/USB. (La plupart des ports d’alimentation USB
s’inscrivent entre 100 et 500 mA.)
Garantie limitée à vie de Streamlight
Streamlight garantit ce produit à vie contre les défauts,
à l’exception des batteries et des ampoules, des emplois

Die USB-Helmlampe ProTac HL®hat einen starken
Lichtkegel. Beim Betrieb über längere Zeit in der Betrieb-
sart „Hell“ wird sie unangenehm warm. Dies ist NORMAL
und kein Fehler. Jede LED-Helmlampe ähnlicher Größe und
Leistung produziert im Betrieb ähnliche Wärmemengen.
Die einzige Möglichkeit, die während des Betriebs abge-
gebene Wärmemenge WESENTLICH zu verringern, besteht
darin, die Leuchtkraft der Helmlampe zu verringern oder
sie größer zu bauen. Diese Erwärmung kann zwar dazu
führen, dass eine unbeaufsichtigte, heiße Lampe nach dem
Aufheben reflexartig wieder fallen gelassen wird, aber die
Temperatur stellt keine Brandgefahr dar.
ACHTUNG:
Die USB-Helmlampe ProTac HL®hat eine lichtstarke LED,
die sehr heiß werden kann. Stellen Sie die USB-Helmlampe
ProTac HL®niemals mit dem Reflektor nach unten auf eine
glatte Oberfläche und halten Sie sie niemals an brennbare
Objekte. Transportieren und lagern Sie die USB-Helmlampe
ProTac HL®so, dass die Gefahr eines versehentlichen Ein-
schaltens minimiert wird.
EINLEGEN / HERAUSNEHMEN DER BATTERIEN:
Schrauben Sie die Seitenschalterkappe ab. Stecken Sie
eine Streamlight-Batterie Art.-Nr. 74175 mit dem Pluspol
voran in die Röhre und schrauben Sie die Schalterkappe
wieder fest.
Die Lampe funktioniert auch, wenn Sie eine „geschützte
zylindrische wiederaufladbare Lithium-Ionen-Batterie des
Typs 18650 mit 3,7 V Spannung, 2600 mAh Kapazität und
Knopf-Oberseite“ mit Streamlight-Art.-Nr. 22101 oder im
Handel erhältliche Batterien dieses Typs einlegen, die ihr
eigenes Ladekontaktsystem hat. HINWEIS – Diese Zelle
wird in der Lampe nicht geladen.
ALLGEMEINE BEDIENUNG:
Der USB-Helmlampe ProTac HL®hat einen programmier-
baren Schalter mit Tasterfunktion (leicht drücken oder
antippen) und Dauer-Ein (bis zum „Klick“ drücken). Die
Lampe wird werkseitig mit dem standardmäßigen Hell-mit-
telhell-abgeblendet-Programm ausgeliefert.
• Hell: Antippen und halten; zum Einrasten bis zum „Klick“
drücken; zum Ausschalten noch einmal drücken, bis es
klickt.
• Mittelhell: Kurz hintereinander zweimal antippen
(innerhalb von 0,4 Sekunden) und halten; zum Einrasten
bis zum „Klick“ drücken; zum Ausschalten noch einmal
drücken, bis es klickt.
• Abgeblendet: Kurz hintereinander dreimal antippen
(jeweils innerhalb von 0,4 Sekunden) und halten; zum
Einrasten bis zum „Klick“ drücken; zum Ausschalten noch
einmal drücken, bis es klickt.
EINSCHALTEN ANDERER PROGRAMME:
Der USB-Helmlampe ProTac HL®hat einen program-
mierbaren TEN-TAP®-Schalter, mit dem der Benutzer
drei verschiedene Programme auswählen kann. Um zum
nächsten Programm zu schalten, tippen Sie den Schalter
bei ausgeschaltetem Strahler 9 Mal kurz hintereinander
an (jeweils innerhalb von 0,4 Sekunden) und halten ihn
beim 10. Mal angetippt. Halten Sie den Schalter gedrückt,
bis das Licht ausgeht (etwa 1 Sekunde), und lassen Sie
ihn dann los. Verfügbare Programme sind Hell-mittelhell-
abgeblendet (Werkseinstellung), Nur hell oder Abgeblen-
det-mittelhell-hell.
LADEN DER LITHIUM-IONEN-BATTERIE
VON STREAMLIGHT:
Zum Laden der mitgelieferten Lithium-Ionen-Batterie der
Streamlight (Art.-Nr. 74175) ziehen Sie den Gummistop-
fen aus dem Mikro-USB-Anschluss an der Unterseite der
Lampe, um den Ladeanschluss und die Ladeanzeige-LED
freizulegen.
Stecken Sie das mitgelieferte Zuleitungskabel in die Mikro-
USB-Buchse an der Taschenlampe ein. Schließen Sie dann
den Standard-USB-Stecker am USB-Anschluss Ihres Com-
puters oder an einem anderen USB-fähigen Anschluss an.
Wenn Sie das optionale USB-Netzteil von Streamlight
(Art.-Nr. 22071) haben, können Sie den USB-Stecker in
die Lampe einstecken und die Taschenlampe mit Netz-
strom laden.
LED-LADEANZEIGE:
Die Lampe hat eine LED zur Anzeige des Ladezustands:
- Rote LED: Ladevorgang läuft
- Grüne LED: Ladevorgang abgeschlossen
LADEDAUER:
Die Lampe hat einen digitalen Regler, der ein Überladen
verhindert. Mit dem USB-Netzteil von Streamlight (Art.-Nr.
22071) ist die Batterie ist nach etwa 5 Stunden voll aufge-
laden und es lädt die Batterie in der Lampe.
HINWEIS: Die Ladedauer von 5 Stunden basiert auf einem
Ladestrom des USB-Netzteils von 1.000 mA. (Die meisten
USB-Stromanschlüsse an Computern liefern 100 bis 500
mA.)

CAUTION:
The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp provides a powerful beam.
When operated for a long time on high, it will get uncom-
fortably warm. This is NORMAL and is not a defect. Any
LED headlamp of similar size and performance will pro-
duce similar amounts of heat during operation. The only
way to reduce operating heat is to SIGNIFICANTLY lower
the output, or increase the size of the headlamp. While
this heating may trigger the drop reflex if an unattended
hot light is picked up, the temperature does not present
a burn hazard.
WARNING:
The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp utilizes a high lumen LED
that can get very hot. Never place the ProTac HL®USB
Headlamp face-down against a flat surface or against any
flammable object. Transport or store the ProTac HL®USB
Headlamp in a way that minimizes the chance it can acci-
dentally be turned on.
BATTERY INSTALLATION/REMOVAL:
Remove the side switch cap. Place one Streamlight #74175
battery into the tube, positive end first and replace the
switch cap.
The light will also function if you install one Streamlight
#22101 “Li Ion 18650 protected cylindrical 3.7V 2600mAh
‘button top’ rechargeable battery” that has its own
charging cradle system. NOTE – This cell will not charge
in the light.
GENERAL OPERATION:
The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp features a programmable
switch with momentary operation (light press or tap)
and constant on operation (press until click). The light is
shipped from the factory in the default High-Medium-Low
program.
• High: Tap and hold; click to lock on; click again for off.
• Medium: Fast double-tap (within 0.4 seconds) and hold;
click to lock on; click again for off.
• Low: Fast triple-tap (within 0.4 seconds per tap) and hold;
click to lock on; click again for off.
ACCESSING OTHER PROGRAMS:
The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp features a TEN-TAP®pro-
grammable switch allowing the user to select one of three
different programs. To change to the next program, start-
ing from the “Off” position, tap the switch rapidly 9 times
(within 0.4 seconds per tap) and hold it down the 10th
time. Continue holding the switch until the light turns off
(approximately 1 second), then release the switch. Avail-
able programs are High-Medium-Low (Factory Default),
High Only or Low-Medium-High.
CHARGING THE STREAMLIGHT LITHIUM ION BATTERY:
To charge the included Streamlight lithium ion battery
(Part #74175), pull the rubber plug from the micro USB
port on the bottom of the light to expose the charge port
and charge indicator LED.
Using the supplied cord, plug the micro USB connector
into the mating socket on the light. Then, plug the standard
USB connector into a USB port on your computer or other
USB accessible port.
If you have Streamlight’s optional USB/AC charger
(#22071), plug the USB connector into the light and charge
the light using AC power.
CHARGE INDICATION LED:
Light features a charge indictor LED:
- Red LED: Charging
- Green LED: Fully Charged
CHARGE TIME:
The light has a digital control circuit that prevents over-
charging. The battery fully recharges in about 5 hours with
the Streamlight AC/USB (#22071) charger and charges the
battery in the light.
NOTE: The 5 hour charge time assumes 1,000 mA output
of the AC/USB charger. (Most computer USB power ports
range from 100 to 500 mA.)
Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty
Streamlight warrants this product to be free of defects
for a lifetime of use except for batteries and bulbs,
abuse and normal wear. We will repair, replace or refund
the purchase price of this product should we determine it
to be defective. This limited lifetime warranty also excludes
rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches and electronics
which have a 2 year warranty with proof of purchase.

PRECAUCIÓN:
El faro USB ProTac HL®proporciona un potente haz. Cuan-
do funciona durante un periodo prolongado en modo alto,
alcanzará una temperatura caliente que resulta incómoda.
Esto es NORMAL y no se trata de un defecto. Cualquier
faro LED de tamaño y rendimiento similares producirá
cantidades similares de calor durante el funcionamiento.
La única manera de reducir el calor producido durante el
funcionamiento consiste en disminuir de manera SIGNIFI-

INSTALACIÓN/EXTRACCIÓN DE LA PILA:
Retire la base del interruptor lateral. Coloque una pila
Streamlight (Número de referencia 74175) en el tubo, ex-
tremo positivo en primer lugar, y vuelva a colocar la tapa
del interruptor.
La linterna también funcionará si se instala una pila
Streamlight 22101 o una “pila recargable de botón de

FUNCIONAMIENTO GENERAL:
El faro USB ProTac HL®cuenta con un interruptor

ACCESO A OTROS PROGRAMAS:
El faro USB ProTac HL®dispone de un interruptor
programable de diez pulsaciones TEN-TAP®que permite
al usuario seleccionar uno de entre tres programas difer-
entes. Para cambiar al siguiente programa, comenzando
desde la posición de apagado, pulse el interruptor con
rapidez 9 veces (no deben transcurrir más de 4 milésimas
de segundo entre cada pulsación) y mantenga pulsado el
interruptor la décima vez. Mantenga el interruptor pulsado
hasta que la luz se apague (aproximadamente 1 segun-
do), luego suelte el interruptor. Estos son los programas
disponibles: Alto-Medio-Bajo (predeterminado de fábrica),

ATTENTION :
La lampe frontale USB ProTac HL®procure un faisceau
puissant. Quand utilisée pendant longtemps sur « high
», elle deviendra trop chaude. Ceci est NORMAL et n’est
pas un défaut. Toute lampe frontale DEL de taille et de
performance semblables produira des quantités sembla-
bles de chaleur pendant le fonctionnement. La seule façon
de réduire la chaleur de fonctionnement est de diminuer
CONSIDÉRABLEMENT la sortie ou d’augmenter la taille de
la lampe frontale. Tandis que cette chaleur peut déclencher
le réflexe de chute si une lampe chaude sans supervision

AVERTISSEMENT :
La lampe frontale USB ProTac HL®utilise une DEL à lu-
men élevé qui peut devenir très chaude. Ne jamais placer
la lampe frontale USB ProTac HL®face vers le bas contre
une surface plate ou contre un objet inflammable. Trans-
portez ou entreposez la lampe frontale USB ProTac HL®
d’une manière qui minimise le risque d’être accidentelle-
ment allumée.
MISE EN PLACE ET/OU RETRAIT DE PILES :
Retirez l’embout d’interrupteur latéral. Placez une pile
Streamlight n° 74175 dans le tube, extrémité positive
en premier et remettez l’embout d’interrupteur en place.
Le lampe fonctionnera également si on installe une « pile
rechargeable Streamlight n° 22101 Li Ion 18650 à ‘bouton
supérieur’ cylindrique protégé 3,7 V 2 600 mAh » qui a son
propre système de support de chargement. NOTE – Cette
cellule ne chargera pas dans la lampe.
FONCTIONNEMENT GÉNÉRAL :
La lampe frontale USB ProTac HL®est munie d’un inter-
rupteur programmable avec un fonctionnement momen-
tané (appuyez ou tapez légèrement) et un fonctionnement
constamment allumé (appuyez jusqu’au déclic). La lampe
est expédiée de l’usine dans le programme par défaut
High-Medium-Low (Fort-Moyen-Bas).

The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp features a TEN-TAP®pro-
grammable switch allowing the user to select one of three
different programs. To change to the next program, start-
ing from the “Off” position, tap the switch rapidly 9 times
(within 0.4 seconds per tap) and hold it down the 10th
time. Continue holding the switch until the light turns off
(approximately 1 second), then release the switch. Avail-
able programs are High-Medium-Low (Factory Default),
High Only or Low-Medium-High.
CHARGING THE STREAMLIGHT LITHIUM ION BATTERY:
To charge the included Streamlight lithium ion battery
(Part #74175), pull the rubber plug from the micro USB
port on the bottom of the light to expose the charge port
and charge indicator LED.
Using the supplied cord, plug the micro USB connector
into the mating socket on the light. Then, plug the standard
USB connector into a USB port on your computer or other
USB accessible port.
If you have Streamlight’s optional USB/AC charger
(#22071), plug the USB connector into the light and charge
the light using AC power.
CHARGE INDICATION LED:

CHARGE TIME:
The light has a digital control circuit that prevents over-

CAUTION:
The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp provides a powerful beam.
When operated for a long time on high, it will get uncom-
fortably warm. This is NORMAL and is not a defect. Any
LED headlamp of similar size and performance will pro-
duce similar amounts of heat during operation. The only
way to reduce operating heat is to SIGNIFICANTLY lower
the output, or increase the size of the headlamp. While
this heating may trigger the drop reflex if an unattended
hot light is picked up, the temperature does not present
a burn hazard.
WARNING:
The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp utilizes a high lumen LED
that can get very hot. Never place the ProTac HL®USB
Headlamp face-down against a flat surface or against any
flammable object. Transport or store the ProTac HL®USB
Headlamp in a way that minimizes the chance it can acci-
dentally be turned on.
BATTERY INSTALLATION/REMOVAL:
Remove the side switch cap. Place one Streamlight #74175
battery into the tube, positive end first and replace the
switch cap.
The light will also function if you install one Streamlight
#22101 “Li Ion 18650 protected cylindrical 3.7V 2600mAh
‘button top’ rechargeable battery” that has its own
charging cradle system. NOTE – This cell will not charge
in the light.
GENERAL OPERATION:
The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp features a programmable
switch with momentary operation (light press or tap)
and constant on operation (press until click). The light is
shipped from the factory in the default High-Medium-Low
program.
• High: Tap and hold; click to lock on; click again for off.
• Medium: Fast double-tap (within 0.4 seconds) and hold;
click to lock on; click again for off.
• Low: Fast triple-tap (within 0.4 seconds per tap) and hold;
click to lock on; click again for off.
ACCESSING OTHER PROGRAMS:
The ProTac HL®USB Headlamp features a TEN-TAP®pro-
grammable switch allowing the user to select one of three
different programs. To change to the next program, start-
ing from the “Off” position, tap the switch rapidly 9 times
(within 0.4 seconds per tap) and hold it down the 10th
time. Continue holding the switch until the light turns off
(approximately 1 second), then release the switch. Avail-
able programs are High-Medium-Low (Factory Default),
High Only or Low-Medium-High.
CHARGING THE STREAMLIGHT LITHIUM ION BATTERY:
To charge the included Streamlight lithium ion battery
(Part #74175), pull the rubber plug from the micro USB
port on the bottom of the light to expose the charge port
and charge indicator LED.
Using the supplied cord, plug the micro USB connector
into the mating socket on the light. Then, plug the standard
USB connector into a USB port on your computer or other
USB accessible port.
If you have Streamlight’s optional USB/AC charger
(#22071), plug the USB connector into the light and charge
the light using AC power.
CHARGE INDICATION LED:
Light features a charge indictor LED:
- Red LED: Charging
- Green LED: Fully Charged
CHARGE TIME:
The light has a digital control circuit that prevents over-
charging. The battery fully recharges in about 5 hours with
the Streamlight AC/USB (#22071) charger and charges the
battery in the light.
NOTE: The 5 hour charge time assumes 1,000 mA output
of the AC/USB charger. (Most computer USB power ports
range from 100 to 500 mA.)
Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty
Streamlight warrants this product to be free of defects
for a lifetime of use except for batteries and bulbs,
abuse and normal wear. We will repair, replace or refund
the purchase price of this product should we determine it
to be defective. This limited lifetime warranty also excludes
rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches and electronics
which have a 2 year warranty with proof of purchase.

El faro USB ProTac HL®proporciona un potente haz. Cuan-

ACCESO A OTROS PROGRAMAS:
El faro USB ProTac HL®dispone de un interruptor
programable de diez pulsaciones TEN-TAP®que permite
al usuario seleccionar uno de entre tres programas difer-
entes. Para cambiar al siguiente programa, comenzando
desde la posición de apagado, pulse el interruptor con
rapidez 9 veces (no deben transcurrir más de 4 milésimas
de segundo entre cada pulsación) y mantenga pulsado el
interruptor la décima vez. Mantenga el interruptor pulsado
hasta que la luz se apague (aproximadamente 1 segun-
