Features

Applications
1. The battery compartment can be opened by pushing backward with thumb at the concave groove on the cover.
2. Install the 9V battery according to the ( + ) and ( - ) symbols on the outside of the battery compartment cover.
3. Push down on the battery and slide the cover forward firmly.

Operation
1. Turn on the power switch by pushing forward for alert or back for vibration. If the green LED comes on, it indicates that
power has been connected. If the green LED does not come on, no battery has been installed or the battery is not well
connected. If there is a continuous alert or vibration and the yellow LED is lit, the battery is low and needs to be replaced.
(NOTE: vibration uses more battery power than audible alert).
2. After turning the power on, grasp the handle and move the detection head across the object being scanned. An alert will
sound or a vibration will occur (silent mode) when a metal object is detected. In addition, when metal is detected, the red LED
will come on. When the detection stops, the alert or vibration stops and the red LED goes out.
Sensitivity Adjustment
1. The sensitivity should be adjusted when performance instability is observed. For example, an alert or vibration may be
produced when scanning something that does not contain metal, because the detection distance is less than the stipulated
requirement or the sensitivity is too high.
2. Insert a small slotted screwdriver into the hole in the handle and rotate clockwise until a sound is heard. Rotate counter-
clockwise until no sound is produced, then rotate for another half-turn, until the desired sensitivity is achieved.
NOTE
1. Be sure to move the power switch to the middle (off) position when not in use.
2. Battery should be removed when the detector will not be used for a long period of time.
3. No alert or vibration will be produced when the detection head is stationary. An alert or vibration is produced only when the
detection head passes over a metal object.

Streetwise Security Products extends a ONE YEAR warranty to the SWMD for the product against defects in materials or workmanship,
with the following exceptions:
1. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care, moisture, the affixing of any
attachment not provided with the product, loss of parts, or recharging the unit in any manner not in accordance with the included
instrucitons.
2. The warranty wil be voided if the unit has been opened or tamperd with in any way (unless by an authorized dealer); or if any unauthorized
replacement parts have been used.
Conditions of sale: Purchase of this product is an agreement by the purchase/user to holds all sellers and manufacturers harmless of all liabilities
and damages.
To Obtain Service: Contact the Authorized Dealer from whom you purcheasd this unit for a Return Merchandise Authorization. The unit must be sent
postage prepaid and proof if puchase ir rquisred. Damage or loss during shipment is not covered by this warranty.
