CYBERWALL™ INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
NOTE
To ensure proper operation, additional height may be required to obtain proper drain trap height or drain
piping slope.
The floor must be flat and level. Where surface irregularities could cause equipment distortion, utilize shims
to ensure base of the unit is uniformly supported and straight. Uneven or distorted sections may cause
interference or binding of doors and panels, the overall unit to appear out of square, and improper draining of
drain pans.
Holes are provided in the bottom rails of the frame to bolt the unit to the floor when it is in its final position. It
is the installer’s responsibility to secure the unit to the unit pad in accordance with all applicable building and
earthquake codes. The method of anchoring is only specified if seismic requirements are ordered. Failure to
follow the seismic installation instructions would void the warranty.
Floor Stand Installations
The system is designed to be installed on a floor stand, which is directly attached to a concrete floor as
described in “Slab Mount Installations” on page 15. For units with a condensation pump, a 3 inch high stand
is used. For gravity condensate drains an optional 6 inch stand is available. Holes are provided in the
bottom rails of the frame to optionally bolt the unit to the floor stand when it is in its final position. An
optional rear air-block plate is available to ship loose from the stand, intended for field installation on rear
side of stand to prevent gallery air from penetrating into the data hall, in lieu of field provided curb or wall.
Please refer to the stand assembly drawing provided with your unit for instructions to install shipped loose
feet and (optional) rear air-block plate.
Assembling Top and Bottom Modules
1. Move the floorstand into place.
2. Level and anchor the floor stand as required.
3. For the stand with optional ship loose rear air-block plate, adjust height of plate to level as required.
Note: It is recommended to use a rubber gasket or sealant to seal the bottom of air-block plate to
prevent water and air leakage.
4. Lift the bottom module into place on the floor stand. Refer to “Lifting and Rigging” on page 14 for
important information on lifting the unit.
5. Secure the bottom module to the floor stand using the supplied M8 serrated flange bolts (PN
193741).
6. For gravity condensate drains only, perform the following steps:
a. Refer to Figure 7. Install the supplied 60-inch copper condensate tube, pipe clamps (PN 207756), and shims
(PN 207780) on the floor stand.
b. Lower the bottom module onto the floor stand and secure using M8 1.25 X 25MM serrated flange bolts (10
places).
c. Remove drain access panels and attach
d. Insert grommet (PN GROMRU6LX) on the P-trap (PN 207790).
e.
f.
Connect the P-trap to the internal and external condensate drain lines using flexible couplings
(PN194315).
Install two drain cover plates (PN 207779) to floor plate using #14 X 1 hex head self-tapping screws
(PN112914).
