Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Sie sind soeben Besitzer des aussergewöhnlichen und technisch
hochmodernen Stylies SIRIUS Verdampfer-Luftbefeuchters geworden. Dieser Verdampfer-Luft-
befeuchter wird Ihnen bei Gebrauch viel Freude machen und die Luftqualität in Ihren Räumen
verbessern.
Wie bei allen elektrischen Haushaltgeräten sind bei der Bedienung des Luftbefeuchters beson-
dere Vorsichtsmassnahmen zur Vermeidung von Verletzungen sowie Brand oder Schäden am
Gerät erforderlich. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch bitte diese Gebrauchsanleitung sorgfältig durch-
lesen und die Sicherheitsrichtlinien, sowie die Sicherheitshinweise am Gerät beachten.
WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung genau durch, bevor Sie das Gerät
das erste Mal in Betrieb nehmen und bewahren Sie sie zum späteren
Nachschlagen gut auf, geben Sie sie ggf. an den Nachbesitzer weiter.
Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Gebrauchsanleitung
entstehen, lehnt Coplax AG jegliche Haftung ab.
Das Gerät ist nur im Haushalt für die in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung
beschriebenen Zwecke zu benutzen. Ein nicht bestimmungsgemässer
Gebrauch sowie technische Veränderungen am Gerät können zu Gefahren
für Gesundheit und Leben führen.
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Personen mit
eingeschränkten körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten,
aber auch von unerfahrenen und unwissenden Personen verwendet
werden, sofern diese das Gerät unter Aufsicht verwenden oder von einer
anderen Person über die sichere Verwendung des Gerätes unterwiesen
wurden und sich der damit verbundenen Gefahren bewusst sind. Kinder
sollten nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Kinder sollten das Gerät nur unter
Aufsicht reinigen und pflegen.
Schliessen Sie das Kabel nur an Wechselstrom an. Achten Sie auf die
Spannungsangaben auf dem Gerät.
Den Netzstecker unbedingt ziehen:
- Vor jeder Umplatzierung des Gerätes
- Vor dem Öffnen des Gerätes oder beim Wasser einfüllen
- Bei Störungen des Betriebs
- Vor jeder Reinigung
- Nach jedem Gebrauch.

Keine beschädigten Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
Gerät niemals am Netzkabel tragen oder ziehen.
Das Eindringen in das Gehäuse ist strengstens verboten.
Das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen.
Den Stecker nie am Netzkabel oder mit nassen Händen aus der Steckdose
ziehen.
Die Steckdose, an der das Gerät angeschlossen ist, muss jederzeit
zugänglich sein. Gerät nicht unmittelbar neben Steckdose stellen.
VORSICHT: Der austretende Dampf ist heiss. Verbrühungsgefahr!
Das Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Badewanne, einer
Dusche oder eines Schwimmbeckens benutzen (Mindestabstand von
3 m einhalten). Gerät so aufstellen, dass Personen das Gerät von der
Badewanne aus nicht berühren können.
Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle aufstellen. Das Netzkabel
keiner direkten Hitzeeinwirkung (wie z.B. heisse Herdplatte, offene
Flammen, heisse Bügelsohle oder Heizöfen) aussetzen. Netzkabel vor Öl
schützen.
Gerät nicht direkt neben Wände, Vorhänge oder Möbel stellen.
Darauf achten, dass das Gerät beim Betrieb eine gute Standfestigkeit
besitzt und nicht über das Netzkabel gestolpert werden kann.
Das Gerät ist nicht spritzwassergeschützt.
Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung in Innenräumen geeignet.
Das Gerät nicht im Freien aufbewahren.
Das Gerät an einem trockenen und für Kinder unzugänglichen Ort
aufbewahren (einpacken).
Keine Zusätze dem Wasser beigeben (Duftmittel, ätherische Öle oder
Wasserfrischhaltemittel).
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es vom Hersteller oder in einer
vom Hersteller zugelassenen Werkstatt oder von ähnlich qualifizierten
Personen ersetzt werden, um Gefahren zu vermeiden.
Vor jeder Wartung, Reinigung und nach jedem Gebrauch das Gerät
ausschalten und das Netzkabel von der Steckdose trennen.
Gerät nicht direkt auf den Boden stellen. Verwenden Sie eine
wasserfeste Unterlage!

10. Sobald die Wasserwanne ganz gefüllt ist, erlischt die rote
«No Water»-Anzeige. Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
11. Gerät einschalten: Bedienfeld «ON/OFF» berühren. In der An-
zeige wird kurz «ON» gefolgt von der aktuellen Luftfeuchtigkeit
angezeigt, z.B. «41». Kurz darauf ist das Kochen des Wassers
zu hören und es tritt heisser Wasserdampf aus. Nicht berühren.
Verbrühungsgefahr!
12. Luftfeuchtigkeit einstellen: Durch wiederholtes Berühren von
«HUMIDITY», die gewünschte Luftfeuchtigkeit einstellen (35–75
% rel.). Empfohlener Bereich 40 bis 60%. Sobald die Anzeige
wieder die aktuelle Luftfeuchtigkeit anzeigt, ist der Wert gespei-
chert und wird automatisch überwacht. Die Einstellung «CO»
(=Continuous) bedeutet Dauerbetrieb ohne Überwachung der
Raumfeuchtigkeit: nicht für ständige Anwendung geeignet (Über-
befeuchtung).
13. Befeuchtungsleistung einstellen: Durch wiederholtes Berühren
von «OUTPUT» die gewünschte Leistung wählen (1= schwach, 3
= stark).
14. Ausschaltzeit einstellen: Durch wiederholtes Berühren von
«TIMER» einstellen, nach wie vielen Stunden das Gerät ausschal-
ten soll (01-12 Stunden, oder «00» für Timer ausgeschaltet).
15. Nachtmodus: Durch Berühren von «NIGHT MODE» wird die Be-
leuchtung auf ein Minimum reduziert.
Funktion durch Berühren eines Funktionfeldes wieder ausschal-
ten.

Das Gerät besteht aus den folgenden Hauptkomponenten (bitte Umschlagseite aufklappen):

INBETRIEBNAHME / Kurzanleitung
Diese Kurzanleitung hilft geübten Anwendern das Gerät in wenigen Schritten in Betrieb zu
nehmen. Die detaillierte Inbetriebnahme ist im nächsten Kapitel beschrieben.

1. Gerät auf stabile und wasserfeste Unterlage und nicht direkt
auf Teppich- oder Holzboden stellen.
2. Abdeckung (4) auf der Rückseite abnehmen (Magnetver-
schluss). Wassertank (13) an Griff festhalten, nach
aussen schwenken und nach oben rausziehen.
3. Wassertank auf den Kopf stellen. Deckel (15) losschrauben
und abnehmen.
4. Wassertank mit maximal 3.5 Liter (0.92 US Gallonen) kaltem
Frischwasser befüllen.

INBETRIEBNAHME / BEDIENUNG
Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Gerät nie mit vollem Tank transportiert werden darf. Mögliche
Gefahren:
Aus dem Wassertank gelangt zu viel Wasser in das Geräteunterteil.
Aus dem Geräteunterteil kann leicht Wasser auslaufen.
Der Wassertank kann aus dem Geräteunterteil herausfallen und durch das hohe Gewicht des
Wassers beschädigt werden. Zudem kann Wasser auf den Boden tropfen.
1. Der SIRIUS-Luftbefeuchter von Stylies sollte zuerst mit leerem Wassertank (13) an einem geeig-
neten Ort aufgestellt werden.
2. Befindet sich das Gerät am gewünschten Standort: Abdeckung (4) auf der Rückseite abneh-
men (Magnetverschluss).
3. Wassertank (13) an Griff festhalten, nach aussen schwenken und nach oben rausziehen.
4. Füllen Sie den Wassertank (13) mit max. 3.5 Liter kaltem Frischwasser, schrauben Sie den
Tankdeckel (15) wieder fest zu und überprüfen Sie, ob alles komplett dicht ist. Setzen Sie den
Wassertank auf das Geräteunterteil. Es ist ein Blubbern zu hören und die Wasserwanne füllt
sich mit Wasser.
5. Netzstecker in Steckdose stecken.
6. Gerät einschalten: Bedienfeld «ON/OFF» oberhalb der Beschriftung berühren. In der Anzeige
wird kurz «ON», gefolgt von der aktuellen Luftfeuchtigkeit angezeigt, z.B. «41». Kurz darauf ist
das Kochen des Wassers zu hören und es tritt heisser Wasserdampf aus (nicht berühren!).
Hinweis: Falls die rote Anzeige «No Water» aufleuchtet, lässt sich das Gerät nicht einschalten.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Wassertank voll ist. Falls ja, muss sich zuerst die Wasserwanne (20) fül-
len, was einen Moment dauern kann (die rote Anzeige «No Water» erlischt dann automatisch).
7. Dampfaustritt nicht gegen Wände, Möbel etc. richten. In der Anzeige (6) wird der aktuelle rel.
Feuchtigkeitsgrad im Raum angezeigt, z.B. «41 %».
8. Luftfeuchtigkeit einstellen: Durch wiederholtes Berühren von «Humidity», die gewünschte
Luftfeuchtigkeit einstellen (35–75 % rel.). Empfohlener Bereich 40 bis 60%. Sobald die An-
zeige wieder die aktuelle Luftfeuchtigkeit anzeigt, ist der Wert gespeichert und wird automa-
tisch überwacht. Die Einstellung «CO» (=Continuous) bedeutet Dauerbetrieb ohne Überwa-
chung der Raumfeuchtigkeit: nicht für ständige Anwendung geeignet (Überbefeuchtung). Das
Gerät schaltet sich automatisch ein, sobald der eingestellte Wert unterschritten und wieder
aus, wenn er überschritten wird. Während der Befeuchtung, wird die aktuelle Luftfeuchtigkeit
angezeigt.
Hinweise: Ist «CO» (= Dauerbetrieb) eingestellt, schaltet sich das Gerät NICHT automatisch ab
(Einstellung nur für kurze Zeit verwenden, da sonst die Luftfeuchtigkeit zu hoch werden kann).
Das Gerät schaltet sich nicht ein, wenn der Feuchtigkeitsgrad zu niedrig eingestellt ist.

Befeuchtungsleistung einstellen: Durch wiederholtes Berühren von «OUTPUT» die ge-
wünschte Leistung wählen (1= schwach, 3 = stark).
10. Ausschaltzeit einstellen: Durch wiederholtes Berühren von «TIMER» einstellen, nach wie vie-
len Stunden das Gerät ausschalten soll (01-12 Stunden, oder «00» für Timer ausgeschaltet).
11. Nachtmodus: Durch Berühren von «NIGHT MODE» wird die Beleuchtung auf ein Minimum re-
duziert. Funktion durch Berühren eines Funktionfeldes wieder ausschalten.
12. «Wassermangel»-Anzeige: In der Anzeige erscheint die rote LED-Warnanzeige «No Water»,
wenn kein oder nicht genügend Wasser in der Wasserwanne vorhanden ist. Leuchtet diese
Anzeige, sollten Sie das Gerät durch Berühren von «ON/OFF» ausschalten und den Tank mit
Frischwasser auffüllen. Anschliessend den Tank wieder auf das Geräteunterteil setzen und
das Gerät wieder einschalten.
Hinweise: Beim Abheben des Tankes kann noch etwas Wasser aus dem Wassertank laufen.
Beim Aufleuchten der «Wassermangel»-Anzeige Gerät immer ausschalten, um Schäden vorzubeugen.
REINIGUNG
Vor jeder Wartung und nach jedem Gebrauch das Gerät ausschalten und das Netzkabel aus
der Steckdose ziehen.
Gerät nie ins Wasser tauchen (Kurzschluss-/Stromschlaggefahr). Zur Reinigung nur mit einem
feuchten Lappen abreiben und danach gut trocknen.
Luftbefeuchter je nach Kalkgehalt, aber mindestens wöchentlich entkalken: Zuerst Wassertank
entfernen und diesen mit einer Bürste vorsichtig reinigen. Wasserwanne (20) und die
Verdampferplatte (21) im Unterteil mit einem handelsüblichen Entkalker entkalken und danach
gut ausspülen. Darauf achten, dass kein Wasser ins Geräteinnere eindringen kann. Daher das
Entkalker-/Wassergemisch nur auf eine Höhe von 2-3 cm einfüllen. Vor dem Gebrauch wieder
vollständig zusammenbauen.
Wassertank regelmässig gut ausspülen.
GUT ZU WISSEN:
Hinweise zur Funktionsweise eines Verdampfers
Wie funktioniert der Verdampfer? Die Verdampferplatte im Geräteinnern heizt das Wasser auf,
bis es kocht. Der dabei entstehende Dampf tritt durch die Öffnung (2) an der Geräteoberseite
aus und befeuchtet den Raum. Mit Hilfe des Hygrostats (siehe nächster Abschnitt), wird die
Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum überwacht und geregelt. Ein Verdampfer erreicht sehr schnell eine
starke Befeuchtungsleistung. Das Wasser bleibt keimfrei, da es gekocht wird.
Hygrostat
Die Standardtoleranzen eines integrierten Hygrostaten liegen bei +/–10 %. Das bedeutet, dass
die effektive, relative Luftfeuchtigkeit dementsprechend abweichen kann. Darauf achten, dass der
Hygrostat nie abgedeckt ist, da er sonst nicht richtig funktioniert.
Tipps bezüglich Wasser
Verwenden Sie kein Wasser, das mit einer Entkalkungsanlage auf Salzbasis enthärtet wurde. Bei
diesen Anlagen wird der Kalk durch Salz ersetzt, welches sich dann als weissen Niederschlag im
Raum absetzen würde.
Damit die Atemluft hygienisch bleibt, muss immer sauberes Wasser verwendet werden. Das
Gerät und vor allem der Wassertank, müssen immer hygienisch sauber sein.

STÖRUNGEN
Rote Kontrollanzeige «No Water» (6) erlischt nicht nach dem Wassernachfüllen:
Das Gerät schaltet bei Wassermangel automatisch ab und die rote Wassermangelanzeige
«No Water» leuchtet auf. Es dauert einen Moment, bis die Wanne im Inneren des Gerätes mit
Wasser gefüllt ist. Anschliessend erlischt die rote Anzeige und das Gerät kann wieder in Betrieb
genommen werden.
Wassertank rinnt:
Tankdeckel (15) aufschrauben und abnehmen. Tankdeckel (15) erneut zusammenschrauben.
Darauf achten, dass der Tankdeckel nicht verkantet auf den Wassertank (13) geschraubt wird, da
sonst Wasser ausläuft.
Niedrige Leistung, kein Dampfausstoss, keine Funktion:
Wartung gemäss Kapitel «Reinigung».
REPARATUREN / ENTSORGUNG
Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten (Wechseln des Netzkabels) dürfen nur von instruierten
Fachkräften durchgeführt werden. Bei unsachgemässen Reparaturen erlischt die Garantie
und jegliche Haftung wird abgelehnt.
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt wird, muss es vom Hersteller, seinem offiziellen Service-
Partner oder einer qualifizierten Person ersetzt werden, um Schäden zu vermeiden.
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nie in Betrieb, wenn ein Kabel oder Stecker beschädigt ist, nach
Fehlfunktionen des Gerätes, wenn dieses heruntergefallen ist oder auf eine andere Art
beschädigt wurde (Risse/Brüche am Gehäuse).
Keine scharfen, kratzenden Gegenstände oder ätzende Chemikalien verwenden.
Ausgedientes Gerät sofort unbrauchbar machen (Netzkabel durchtrennen) und bei der dafür
vorgesehenen Sammelstelle abgeben.
Entsorgen Sie elektrische Geräte nicht im Hausmüll, nutzen Sie die offiziellen Recycling-
Sammelstellen, falls vorhanden.
Dieses Gerät darf nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden! Bitte geben sie dieses
Gerät an den dafür vorgesehenen Sammelstellen ab! Das Sammeln und Recyceln
elektrischen und elektronischen Abfalls schont wertvolle Ressourcen!
Das Verpackungsmaterial ist wiederverwertbar. Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung
umweltgerecht und führen Sie sie der Wertstoffsammlung zu.
Wenn elektrische Geräte unkontrolliert entsorgt werden, können während der Verwitterung
gefährliche Stoffe ins Grundwasser und damit in die Nahrungskette gelangen, sowie die Flora
und Fauna auf Jahre belastet werden.
2 JAHRE GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
Während der Gewährleistungsfrist von zwei Jahren ab dem Kauf des Geräts übernehmen wir
die Reparatur eines Geräts oder Teils, bei welchem ein Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehler
festgestellt wurde, oder (nach unserem Ermessen) dessen Ersatz durch ein in Stand gesetztes
Produkt, ohne dass Ihnen Kosten für die Teile oder den Arbeitsaufwand entstehen.
ABGESEHEN VON DER OBEN STEHENDEN GEWÄHRLEISTUNG ÜBERNIMMT Coplax FÜR DIE
ZEIT NACH ABLAUF DER GEWÄHRLEISTUNGSFRIST KEINERLEI ANDERE STILLSCHWEIGENDE
GARANTIE ODER ZUSAGE DER MARKTGÄNGIGKEIT ODER EIGNUNG FÜR EINEN BESTIMMTEN
ZWECK IM HINBLICK AUF DAS PRODUKT. Coplax repariert oder ersetzt ein Produkt im
Rahmen der Gewährleistung nach eigenem Ermessen. Es erfolgt KEINE Gutschrift. Die
vorgenannten Rechtsmittel stellen Ihre einzigen Rechtsmittel bei Verletzung der oben genannten
Gewährleistung dar.
Wer hat Anspruch auf Gewährleistung?
Anspruch auf Gewährleistung hat der Ersteigentümer eines Coplax-Geräts im Privateigentum,
der einen datierten Kaufbeleg in Form einer Rechnung oder Quittung vorlegen kann. Die
Gewährleistung ist nicht übertragbar. Vor der Rückgabe der Einheit ist eine Kopie des datierten
Original-Kaufbelegs per Fax, E-Mail oder Post zu übersenden. Bitte fügen Sie dem Artikel die
Modellnummer Ihres Geräts und eine detaillierte Beschreibung des Problems (vorzugsweise in
Maschinenschrift) bei. Legen Sie die Beschreibung in einen Umschlag, den Sie vor Versiegelung
des Kartons mit Klebeband direkt am Gerät befestigen. Bitte beschreiben oder modifizieren Sie
den Original-Karton in keiner Weise.
Nicht im Gewährleistungsumfang enthalten:
Teile, die üblicherweise ausgetauscht werden müssen und sonstige regelmässig
auszutauschende Verbrauchsteile, es sei denn, es liegt ein Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehler vor.
Schäden, Ausfälle, Verluste oder Verschlechterungen aufgrund von gewöhnlicher
Abnutzung, unsachgemässem Gebrauch, nicht bestimmungsgemässer Nutzung,
Fahrlässigkeit, Unfall, Mängeln bei Installation, Aufstellung und Betrieb, unsachgemässer
Wartung, unbefugter Reparatur, Belastung durch unangemessene Temperaturen oder
Bedingungen. Dies umfasst unter anderem Schäden aufgrund der unsachgemässen
Verwendung von ätherischen Ölen oder Wasseraufbereitungs- und Reinigungsmitteln.
Schäden aufgrund von unzureichender Verpackung oder falscher Handhabung durch
Spediteure bei Produktretouren.
Falscher Einbau oder Verlust von Zubehör, etwa Düse, Duftstoffwanne, Wassertankdeckel usw.
Kosten für Versand und Transport zum Reparaturort und zurück.
Direkte, indirekte, besondere oder Folgeschäden jeder Art, unter anderem entgangene
Gewinne oder andere wirtschaftliche Verluste.
Transportschäden an einer Einheit, die von einem unserer Einzelhändler ausgeliefert
wurde. Bitte wenden Sie sich direkt an den Einzelhändler.
Diese Gewährleistung erstreckt sich nicht auf Schäden oder Mängel, die darauf
zurückzuführen sind, dass die Spezifikationen von Coplax AG in Bezug auf Installation, Betrieb,
Nutzung, Wartung, oder Reparatur des Coplax-Geräts nicht strikt befolgt wurden.

midifier SIRIUS with State-of-the-Art technology. It will bring you a lot of pleasure when using
it and it will improve the air quality of your rooms.
As for all electrical household devices, special caution is required when using this humidifier in
order to avoid injuries, fire and damages to the device itself. Before you use it for the first time,
please read through this instruction manual carefully and pay attention to the safety guidelines
and indications printed on the device.

The appliance is only to be used in the home for the purposes described
in these instructions. Unauthorised use and technical modifications to the
appliance can lead to danger to life and health.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Only connect the cable to alternating current. Observe the voltage
information given on the appliance.
The device must always be unplugged:
- before the device is moved to another place
- before the device is opened or when it is refilled with water
- in the case of malfunction
- before any cleaning
- after each use.
Do not use damaged extension cords.
Never carry or pull the device by the power cable.
Penetrating the housing is strictly prohibited.
Do not run the power cord over sharp edges and make sure that it does
not get trapped.
Do not pull the plug from the socket with wet hands or by holding on to the
power cord.
The socket attached to the device should be accessible at all times. Do not
use device directly alongside socket.
CAUTION: the steam emitted is hot. Risk of scalding!
Do not use the appliance in immediate vicinity of a bath tub, a shower or a
swimming pool (observe a minimum distance of 3 m). Place the appliance
such that a person in the bath tub cannot touch the appliance.
Do not place the appliance near a heat source. Do not subject the power
cord to direct heat (such as a heated hotplate, open flames, hot iron sole
plates or heaters for example). Protect power cords from oil.
Do not position the device directly next to walls, curtains or furniture.
See to it that the appliance is properly positioned to ensure a high stability
during its operation and make sure that no one can trip over the power
cord.
The appliance is not splash-proof.
For indoor use only.
Do not store the appliance outdoors.
Store the appliance in a dry place inaccessible to children (pack the
appliance).
Do not add anything to the water (fragrances, essential oils or water
fresheners).
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a
repair shop authorized by the manufacturer or by similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
Prior to any maintenance, cleaning and after each use, switch off the
appliance and unplug the mains cable from the socket.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE
The device consists of the following main components (please see inside cover):
STARTING UP / QUICK GUIDE
This quick guide helps practised users to start the device in a few steps. For detailed start-up
instructions, please consult the next chapter.
5. Screw the tank lid (15) firmly onto the tank.
6. Turn the tank upside down and check for water leakage.
7. Install the tank, and you should hear a bubbling sound (water
collector filling).
8. Replace the water tank lid (4): first attach to the underside and
then swivel until the magnetic catch (12) holds in place.
9. Insert the power plug («ON/OFF» is displayed).
10. As soon as the water collector is completely full, the red display
«No Water» goes out. The humidifier is now ready to use.
11. Switch on the device: by touching the «ON/OFF» key. The display
will show «ON» briefly followed by the current humidity, e.g. «41».
Shortly after this, the sound of the water boiling can be heard
and hot steam will be emitted. Do not touch. Danger of scalding!
12. To set the humidity: set the desired humidity by repeatedly
touching the «HUMIDITY» key, (35–75 % rel.). We recommend
40- 60 %. As soon as the display shows the current relative air
humidity, the humidity setting is saved and automatically moni-
tored. Set «CO» for continuous operation without humidity moni-
toring, but this may cause excess humidity if used too often.
13. Set the desired humidifying capacity: by repeatedly touching
the «OUTPUT» key (1= low, 3 = high).
14. Activate the automatic shutdown: by repeatedly touching the
«TIMER» key. Adjust the shutdown time in hours (01-12 hours,
or «00» for no timer).
15. Night mode: touch the «NIGHT MODE» key to dim the light.
Switch off function by touching any function key.
1. Place the humidifier on a stable and watertight surface, never
on a carpet or parquet floor.
2. Take off the cover (4) at the rear side (magnetic catch). Re-
move the water tank (13). Hold the water tank firmly by the
handle, swivel outwards and pull it upward.
3. Turn the tank upside down. Unscrew and remove the tank lid
(15) .
4. Fill the tank with no more than 3.5 litres (0.92 US gallons) of
cold fresh water.

FIRST USE / OPERATION
Please note: never transport the device with a full water tank.
Possible hazards:

the water (and water can leak on to the floor).
1. The Stylies SIRIUS humidifier should be placed first with empty Water Tank (13) in a suitable lo-
cation.
2. When the device is in the desired location: remove the cover (4) at the rear side (magnetic
catch).
3. Hold the water tank (13) firmly by the handle, swivel outwards and pull it upward.
4. Fill Water Tank (13) with fresh water (max. 3.5 l) and screw the Tank Cover (15) back on firmly
and check that it is sealed properly. Place Water Tank on base, and you should hear a bubbling
sound (water collector filling).
5. Plug Power Cable into the power socket.
6. Switch on the device: by touching the «ON/OFF» key on the control panel (1). The display will
show «ON» briefly followed by the current humidity, e.g. «41». Shortly after this, the sound of the
water boiling can be heard and hot steam will be emitted (do not touch!).
Caution: If the red «No Water» warning lights up, the humidifier cannot be switched on. Check
if the water tank is full. If so, it may take a moment to refill the water collector (20) if necessary
(the red light «No Water» then goes out).
7. Never point the steam outlet at walls or furniture, etc. On the display (6), it shows the current
humidity level in the room, e.g. «41 %».
8. The desired air humidity level can be selected by repeatedly touching the «HUMIDITY» key
(35–75 % rel.). We recommend 40-60 % rel. air humidity. As soon as the display shows the
current relative air humidity again, the humidity setting is saved and automatically monitored.
Set «CO» for continuous operation without humidity monitoring, but this may cause excess hu-
midity if used too often. The humidifier starts automatically as soon as the humidity is lower
than the setting, and stops when it is higher. During humidification the current air humidity is
displayed.
Note: If «CO» (continuous operation) is set, the humidifier WILL NOT STOP automatically. To
avoid excessive humidity, use «CO» for a short time only. The device will not switch on if the air
humidity level has been set too low.
9. Set the desired humidifying capacity: by repeatedly touching the «OUTPUT» key (1= low, 3 =
high).
10. Activate the automatic shutdown time: by repeatedly touching the «TIMER» key. Adjust the
shutdown time in hours (01-12 hours, or «00» to quit timer).
11. Night mode: touch the «NIGHT MODE» key to dim the light. Switch off function by touching any
function key.
12. «No water» warning: this red LED lights up if the water collector is empty or too low. In this
case turn the device off by touching the «ON/OFF» key and fill the tank with fresh water. Then
replace the tank in the base and turn the power on again.
Note: When you remove the tank, some water can flow out of it. To prevent damage, always
turn off the power when the «Low water» warning lights up.
CLEANING PROCEDURE
Switch off the device and unplug the power cable from the socket before all maintenance work
and after each use.
Never submerge the device in water (this can result in short-circuiting). To clean the device,
simply wipe it with a damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly. Descale the humidifier as
appropriate for the hardness of the water, but at least once a week: First remove the water
tank and clean it with a brush. Descale the water collector (20) and the vaporizing plate (21) in
the base with a standard descaler and then rinse it thoroughly. Make sure no water penetrates
inside. So only fill with descaler/water mixture to a height of 2-3 cm.
Reassemble the device completely before use.
Thoroughly rinse out the water tank on a regular basis.
USEFUL INFORMATION:
Information how a vaporizer works
How does the vaporizer work? The vaporizing plate in the interior of the device causes the water
to heat up. The steam is emitted through the opening (2) on top of the device and increases
humidity in the room. Using the hygrostat (see next section), the air humidity in the room can be
monitored and regulated. A vaporizer boosts humidity very quickly. The water is sterile because it
has been boiled.
Hygrostat
The standard-tolerance of an integrated hygrostat is +/- 10%. That means the effective relative
humidity level can deviate accordingly. Please ensure that the hygrostat is never covered
otherwise it won’t function properly.
Tips for water
Do not use water that has been subject to salt-based softening in a descaling system. These
systems replace the calcium with salt, which then settles in the room as a white deposit.
Clean water must always be used to ensure that the air remains hygienic to breathe. The device,
and the water tank in particular, must always be hygienically clean.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING
«No Water» warning light (6) does not switch off after tank has been filled with water:
The device switches off automatically if there is not enough water. The «No Water» Light
switches on (in red color) to warn you for the refill. It may take a moment to refill the water
collector inside of the device. Afterwards the red light «No Water» goes out, and the humidifier is
ready to use again.
The water tank is leaking:
Turn the Tank Lid (15) to remove it from the water tank. Screw the tank lid (15) and water tank
together again. Make sure the tank cover screws squarely on to the water tank (13), or water will
leak.
Low performance, no steam output, device not functional:
Perform maintenance as described in the chapter on «Cleaning Procedure».
REPAIRS / DISPOSAL
Repairs to all electric devices (including replacement of the power cable) may only be
performed by authorised experts. Carrying out inappropriate repairs voids the warranty and
no liability shall be accepted.
If the power cable has become damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an official
service partner or a qualified person in order for further damage to be avoided.
Never operate the device if the cable or the plug is damaged, if the device has malfunctioned
or if the device has been dropped or damaged in any other way (i.e. with cracks or breakages
to the casing).
Do not use any sharp, abrasive objects or corrosive chemicals.
Any old devices must be immediately rendered unusable (unplug power cable) and taken to
the appropriate waste collection point.
This device must not be disposed of with household refuse. Please dispose of this device
at the appropriate waste collection centre. Collecting and recycling electrical and
electronic waste saves valuable resources.
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly
way and ensure that it is taken to a collection centre for recyclable materials.
If electrical devices are disposed of in an unregulated way, the effects of weathering can
cause hazardous substances to contaminate the groundwater and the food-chain or can
result in a burden on flora and fauna for years to come.
TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
For the warranty period of 2 years after the purchase of the appliance, we will repair or
replace with a refurbished product (at our option), without any cost to you for either the parts or
labor, any machine or part that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship.

Who is covered:
The original owner of a privately-owned Coplax appliance who can provide a dated proof of
purchase in the form of an invoice or receipt is covered. The warranty is not transferable. The
original dated proof of purchase (a copy needs to be faxed, e-mailed, mailed) prior to returning
the unit. Provide the model number of your appliance and a detailed description (preferably typed)
of the problem with the item. Enclose your description in an envelope and tape it directly to the
appliance before the box is sealed. Do not write anything on or alter in any way the original box.
What this warranty does not cover:
Parts that normally require replacement, such as demineralization cartridges, «Clean Cube»,
active carbon filters, water wick filters and any other consumable item that needs regular
replacement except for material or workmanship defects.
Damage, failure, loss or deterioration due to ordinary wear and tear from abuse, misuse,
neg-ligence, accident, faulty installation, placement and operation, improper maintenance,
unauthorized repair, exposure to unreasonable temperatures or conditions. This includes
damages caused by misusing essential oils or water treatment and cleaning solutions.
Damage resulting from inadequate packaging or carrier mishandling of returned products.
Misplacement or loss of accessories such as nozzle, fragrance capsule, water tank cap etc.
Shipping and transportation costs to and from any place of repair.
 Direct, indirect special or consequential damages of any type, including loss of profits or
other economic loss.

This Warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by or resulting from failure to

12. Régler l’humidité de l’air: touchez de façon répétée sur
«HUMIDITY» et régler la valeur souhaitée (35–75 % rel.). Le taux
d’humidité conseillé est de 40 à 60 %. Dès lors que l'écran af-
fiche de nouveau l'humidité effective de l'air, la valeur est
mémorisée et contrôlée automatiquement. Le réglage «CO»
(= Continuous) indique un fonctionnement continu sans contrôle
de l’humidité de l’air: ne convient pas à un usage permanent
(trop d'humidité).
13. Pour régler l'intensité d’émission de la vapeur, touchez de façon
répétée sur «OUTPUT» pour choisir parmi les 3 degrés d’intensité
(1 = faible, 3 = élevée).
14. Pour régler l’extinction automatique, touchez de façon répétée
sur «TIMER» pour régler le nombre d’heures au bout desquelles
l’appareil doit s’éteindre (de 01 à 12 heures, ou «00» si on ne
souhaite pas activer le timer).
15. Mode Nuit: toucher la commande «NIGHT MODE» permet de ré-
duire l'éclairage au minimum. Pour désactiver ce mode, appuyer
sur une touche fonction.

MISE EN SERVICE / BREF MODE D’EMPLOI
Ce bref mode d’emploi aidera les utilisateurs expérimentés à mettre en route l’appareil en
quelques opérations. La mise en route détaillée est décrite au chapitre suivant.
1. Placer l’appareil sur une surface stable et résistante à l’eau,
pas directement sur un tapis ou un sol en bois.
2. Enlever le couvercle (4) sur l'arrière (fermeture magnétique).
Saisir le réservoir d'eau par sa poignée (13), le tourner vers
l'extérieur et l'extraire en le tirant vers le haut.
3. Retourner le réservoir: Dévisser et enlever le couvercle (15).

MISE EN SERVICE/UTILISATION
Remarque: ne transportez jamais l’appareil lorsque le bac à eau est plein. Risques possibles:
Le trop-plein d'eau du réservoir atteint la base de l'appareil.
L’eau peut facilement s’écouler de la base.
Le poids de l’eau peut provoquer la chute du réservoir d'eau de la base et son endommagement
(de l’eau peut aussi se déverser sur le sol).
1. L'humidificateur d'air Stylies SIRIUS doit être d'abord placé avec le réservoir d'eau (13) vide dans
un endroit approprié.
2. Lorsque l'appareil a été installé à l'endroit souhaité: ôter le couvercle (4) à l'arrière (fermeture
magnétique).
3. Saisir le réservoir d'eau (13) par sa poignée, le tourner vers l'extérieur et l'extraire en le ti-
rant vers le haut.
4. Remplissez le réservoir d'eau (13) avec de l'eau froide du robinet (max. 3.5 litres), revissez so-
lidment le couvercle du réservoir (15), puis vérifiez qu'il est fermé hermétiquement. Placez le
réservoir d'eau sur la base. On entend alors comme un gargouillement (c’est le bac à eau qui se
remplit).
5. Brancher le câble d'alimentation dans la prise électrique.
6. Allumez l’appareil en appuyant sur «ON/OFF» (marche/arrêt) du panneau de commance.
L'écran affiche brièvement la mention «ON», puis tout de suite après l'humidité effective de l'air
(par ex. «41»). Peu après, on entend bouillir l'eau, et l'émission de vapeur démarre (Ne pas tou-
cher!).
Remarque: si l’indicateur «No Water» («Manque d’eau») s’allume, l’appareil ne s’allume pas. Vé-
rifiez que le réservoir d’eau est plein. S'il est plein, attendre que le bac à eau (20) se remplisse;
cela peut durer un moment (le témoin rouge
«No Water» s'éteint ensuite automatiquement).
7. Ne pas diriger la vapeur vers des murs, des meubles, etc. L'affichage (7) indique le degré d'humi-
dité rel. effective dans la pièce, par ex. «41 %».
8. Pour sélectionner le taux d’humidité de l’air, appuyez de façon répétée sur «HUMIDITY» et ré-
gler entre 35 % et 75 % rel.. Il est conseilé de régler sur 40-60 %. Dès lors que l'écran affiche
de nouveau l'humidité effective de l'air, le taux d'humidité sélectionné est mémorisé et contrô-
lé automatiquement. La mention «CO» (= Continuous) indique un fonctionnement continu, sans
contrôle automatique: ne convient pas à un usage permanent (trop d'humidité). L’appareil s’al-

s’éteint quand la valeur se trouve dépassée. Pendant l'humidification, l'écran affiche l'humidifica-
tion effective.
Remarque: quand l’appareil est réglé sur «CO» (= fonctionnement continu), il NE S’ÉTEINT PAS
automatiquement (utiliser cette fonction uniquement pour une utilisation brève, sinon vous ris-
quez d'avoir un air trop humide). L’appareil ne s’allume pas lorsque le réglage du degré d’humidi-
té est trop bas.
9. Pour régler l’émission de vapeur, appuyez de façon répétée sur «OUTPUT» pour choisir parmi
les 3 degrés d’intensité (1 = faible, 3 = élevée).
10. Pour régler l’extinction automatique: appuyez de façon répétée sur «TIMER» pour régler dans
combien d’heures l’appareil doit s’éteindre (de 01 à 12 heures, ou «00»si on souhaite désacti-
ver cette fonction).
11. Mode Nuit: toucher la commande «NIGHT MODE» permet de réduire l'éclairage au minimum.
Pour désactiver ce mode, appuyer sur une touche fonction.

Indicateur «No Water» («Manque d’eau»): s’il n’y a pas du tout ou pas assez d’eau dans le bac
à eau, l’indicateur le signale à l’aide d’un témoin d’alarme à LED rouge. Quand ce témoin s’al-
lume, éteignez l’appareil avec le bouton «Marche/arrêt» et remplir le bac avec de l'eau fraîche.
Replacer ensuite le réservoir sur la base et rallumer l'appareil.
Remarques: quand on soulève le réservoir, il peut encore s'échapper un peu d'eau du réservoir.
Quand l’indicateur «Manque d’eau» s’allume, éteignez toujours l’appareil pour éviter tout dom-
mage.
NETTOYAGE
Avant toute maintenance et après chaque utilisation, arrêter l’appareil et retirer le câble
d’alimentation de la prise.
Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau (risque de court-circuit). Utiliser uniquement un chiffon
humide pour le nettoyage, puis sécher minutieusement.
Détartrer l’humidificateur d’eau en fonction de la quantité de calcaire, mais au moins une fois
par semaine: retirer tout d’abord le réservoir d'eau et le nettoyer soigneusement à l’aide une
brosse. Éliminer les dépôts de calcaire de la partie inférieure du bac à eau (20) et la plaque
chauffante (21) sur la partie inférieure avec un détartrant usuel, puis rincer soigneusement.
Veiller à ce que de l’eau ne pénètre pas dans l’appareil. Pour cela, ne remplir de solution
détartrante/aqueuse qu’à hauteur de 2-3 cm seulement. Remonter tous les éléments avant
utilisation.
Bien rincer le réservoir d'eau de manière régulière.
BON À SAVOIR:
Remarques relatives au fonctionnement d’un humidificateur-vaporisateur
Comment fonctionne le vaporisateur? La plaque chauffante à l'intérieur de l'appareil chauffe l'eau
jusqu'à ébullition. Cela produit de la vapeur, qui s'évacue par la partie supérieure de l'appareil
à travers l'ouverture (2) et humidifie la pièce. L'hygrostat intégré (voir chap. suivant) contrôle
et régule l'humidité de la pièce. L'évaporateur atteint très rapidement une grande puissance
d'humidification. L'ébullition permet d'avoir toujours une eau exempte de germes.
HYGROSTAT
Les tolérances standards d’un hygrostat intégré sont de +/- 10 %. Dès lors, l’humidité relative et
effective peut subir des variations.
Veiller à ce que l'hygrostat ne soit jamais couvert, car cela nuirait à son bon fonctionnement.
Conseils concernant l’eau
Ne pas utiliser d'eau adoucie avec une installation de détartrage à base de sel. Ces installations
remplacent le tartre par du sel, qui se déposerait ensuite dans la pièce sous la forme d'un dépôt
blanc.
Pour que l’air inhalé reste hygiénique, il faut toujours utiliser de l’eau propre. L’appareil et
notamment le réservoir d’eau doivent toujours être d’une propreté hygiénique.

DÉFAILLANCES
Le voyant de contrôle rouge «No Water» (6) ne s’éteint pas après remplissage du réservoir
d’eau:
En cas de manque d’eau, l’appareil s’arrête automatiquement et le voyant rouge «Manque d'eau»
s’allume. Plusieurs minutes peuvent s’écouler jusqu’à ce qu’une quantité d’eau suffisante pour le
fonctionnement soit passée du réservoir d’eau dans la partie inférieure. Ensuite, le voyant rouge
s'allume et l'appareil peut être remis en route.
Le réservoir à eau fuit:
Dévisser le couvercle (15) et l’enlever. Revisser le couvercle (15). S’assurer que le couvercle du
réservoir est vissé bien droit sur le réservoir à eau (13), sinon l'eau fuirait.
Puissance faible, pas de production de vapeur, pas de fonctionnement:
Maintenance conformément au chapitre «Nettoyage».
RÉPARATIONS / ÉLIMINATION
Les réparations des appareils électriques (remplacement du câble d’alimentation) doivent
uniquement être effectuées par un personnel qualifié formé. En cas de réparations non
conformes, la garantie est annulée et toute responsabilité sera déclinée.
Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son
partenaire de service officiel ou une personne qualifiée, afin d’éviter tout dommage.
Ne jamais mettre l’appareil en service si un câble ou une prise sont endommagés, après
des dysfonctionnements de l’appareil, si celui-ci est tombé ou a été endommagé d’une autre
manière (fissure/ruptures du boîtier).
N’utiliser aucun objet tranchant et grattant ou aucun produit chimique corrosif.
Mettre immédiatement tout appareil usagé hors d’usage (sectionner le câble d’alimentation)
et le déposer dans le centre de collecte prévu à cet effet.

5. Avvitare saldamente il coperchio (15) al serbatoio.
6. Rovesciare il serbatoio e controllare che non fuoriesca acqua.
7. Posizionare il serbatoio sull’apparecchio. Si sente un gorgoglio (la
vasca dell’acqua si sta riempiendo).
8. Riposizionare il coperchio (4) nella sua sede: agganciare dappri-
ma nella parte inferiore, quindi richiudere finché la chiusura ma-
gnetica (12) tiene.
9. Inserire la spina (si accende il pannello di controllo «ON/OFF»).
10. Appena la vasca dell’acqua è piena, il simbolo rosso dell’indicato-
re «No Water» si spegne. Ora l’apparecchio è pronto per l’uso.
11. Accendere l’apparecchio con il tasto «ON/OFF». Sul display ap-
pare brevemente «ON» e subito dopo l'umidità effettiva dell'aria
(ad esempio «41»). Poco dopo si sente l'acqua che bolle e inizia il
processo di nebulizzazione. Non toccare. Pericolo di ustioni!
12. Impostare l’umidità dell’aria: premendo ripetutamente il tasto
«HUMIDITY», per impostare l’umidità dell’aria desiderata (35–75
% di umidità rel.). L’umidità consigliata è compresa tra il 40 e il
60%. Non appena sul display compare di nuovo l'umidità effet-
tiva dell'aria, il valore è stato memorizzato e viene monitorato
automaticamente. L’impostazione «CO» (= Continuous) indica il
funzionamento continuo senza monitoraggio dell’umidità dell’aria:
questa impostazione non è adatta per l’uso costante (umidifica-
zione eccessiva).
13. Impostare l’intensità di nebulizzazione: premendo ripetutamen-
te il tasto «OUTPUT» si possono impostare tre livelli (1 = basso,
3 = alto).
14. Impostare lo spegnimento: premendo ripetutamente il tasto
«TIMER» per impostare il numero di ore trascorse le quali l’appa-
recchio deve spegnersi (01-12 ore, oppure «00» se non si desi-
dera azionare il timer).
15. Modalità Notte: toccando «NIGHT MODE» l'illuminazione viene
ridotta al minimo. Disattivare la modalità toccando un tasto fun-
zione.

MESSA IN FUNZIONE / ISTRUZIONI BREVI
Questa guida rapida aiuta gli utenti esperti a mettere in funzione l’apparecchio con poche
operazioni. La messa in funzione dettagliata è descritta nel capitolo successivo.
1. Collocare l’apparecchio su un fondo stabile e resistente all’ac-
qua e non direttamente su un tappeto o un pavimento in legno.
2. Rimuovere il coperchio (4) sul retro (chiusura magnetica). Af-
ferrare il serbatoio dell'acqua per la maniglia (13), orientarlo
verso l'esterno ed estrarlo sollevandolo verso l'alto.
3. Capovolgere il serbatoio. Svitare il coperchio (15) per rimuo-
verlo.
4. Riempire il serbatoio con non più di 3.5 litri (0.92 gallone US)
di acqua fresca da rubinetto.

MESSA IN FUNZIONE / UTILIZZO
Nota: non trasportare mai l’apparecchio con il serbatoio dell’acqua pieno. Rischi possibili:.
Nella base dell’apparecchio entra troppa acqua dal serbatoio.
L’acqua può uscire facilmente dalla base dell’apparecchio.
Il peso dell’acqua può provocare la caduta del serbatoio dalla base e il danneggiamento dello
stesso. Inoltre l’acqua può gocciolare sul pavimento.
1. L’umidificatore d’aria SIRIUS di Stylies dovrebbe essere collocata prima con il serbatoio dell’acqua
(13) vuoto in un luogo appropriato.
2. Una volta posizionato l’apparecchio nel punto desiderato : togliere il coperchio (4) sul retro (chiusu-
ra magnetica).
3. Afferrare il serbatoio dell'acqua dalla maniglia (13), orientarlo verso l'esterno ed estrarlo sol-
levandolo verso l'alto.
4. Riempire il serbatoio (13) con non più di 3.5 litri di acqua fresca da rubinetto, avvitare salda-
mente il coperchio (15) al serbatoio e controllare che non fuoriesca acqua. Posizionare il ser-
batoio sull’apparecchio. Si sente un gorgoglio (la vasca dell’acqua si sta riempiendo).
5. Inserire il cavo di alimentazione nella presa di corrente.
6. Accendere l’apparecchio con il tasto «ON/OFF». Sul display appare brevemente «ON», e su-
bito dopo l'umidità effettiva dell'aria (ad esempio «41»). Poco dopo si sente l'acqua che bolle e
inizia il processo di nebulizzazione (non toccare).
Nota: se l’indicatore «No Water» («mancanza d’acqua») si illumina, l’apparecchio non si accende.
Verificare che il serbatoio dell’acqua sia pieno. Se il serbatoio è pieno, aspettare che si riempia la va-
sca dell’acqua (20); quest’operazione può richiedere un momento (dopodiché l’indicatore «No Wa-
ter» si spegne automaticamente).
7. N on dirigere la nebulizzazione (2) contro pareti, mobili, ecc. L’indicatore (6) segnala il grado di umidi-
tà relativa nel locale, ad es. «41 %».
8. Impostare l’umidità dell’aria: premendo ripetutamente il tasto «HUMIDITY» per impostare
l’umidità dell’aria desiderata (35–65 di umidità rel.). L’umidità consigliata è compresa tra il
40 e il 60%. Non appena sul display compare di nuovo l'umidità effettiva dell'aria, il valore è
stato memorizzato e viene monitorato automaticamente. L’impostazione «CO» (= Continuo-
us) indica il funzionamento continuo senza monitoraggio dell’umidità dell’aria: (utilizzare questa
impostazione solo per un breve funzionamento, altrimenti l’umidità dell’aria potrebbe diventare trop-
po elevata. L’apparecchio si accende automaticamente non appena il valore scende al di sotto del
valore preimpostato e si spegne quando quest’ultimo viene superato.
Nota: se è impostato «CO» (= funzionamento continuo), l’apparecchio NON si spegne automatica-
mente (utilizzare questa impostazione solo per un breve funzionamento, altrimenti l’umidità dell’aria
potrebbe diventare troppo elevata)
. L’apparecchio non si accende quando il livello di umidità è impo-
stato su un valore troppo basso.
9. Impostare l’intensità di nebulizzazione : premendo ripetutamente il tasto «OUTPUT» si posso-
no impostare tre livelli (1 = basso, 3 = alto).
10. Impostare lo spegnimento : premendo ripetutamente il tasto «TIMER» si possono impostare il
numero di ore trascorse le quali l’apparecchio deve spegnersi (01-12 ore, oppure «
00 » se si desi-
dera disattivare la funzione).
11. Modalità Notte: toccando «NIGHT MODE» l'illuminazione viene ridotta al minimo. Disattivare
la modalità toccando un tasto funzione.
12. Indicatore «mancanza d’acqua»: se nella vasca dell’acqua non c’è acqua, o non è sufficiente, l’indi-
catore lo segnala con una spia LED rossa «No Water». Quando questo indicatore si accende, spe-
gnere l’apparecchio con il tasto «ON/OFF» e riempire il serbatoio con acqua fresca di rubinetto . Ri-
collocare quindi il serbatoio sulla base e riaccendere l’apparecchio.
Nota : sollevando il serbatoio, può fuoriuscire un po’ d’acqua. Quando si illumina l’indicatore «man-
canza d’acqua», spegnere sempre l’apparecchio per evitare ogni possibile danneggiamento.
PULIZIA
Prima di ogni operazione di manutenzione e dopo ogni uso, spegnere l’apparecchio e staccare
la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua (pericolo di corto circuito/di scossa elettrica). Per
la pulizia, limitarsi a passare un panno umido sull’apparecchio e poi asciugare accuratamente.
Decalcificare l’umidificatore d’aria in base alla quantità di calcare presente nell’acqua, e
comunque almeno una volta alla settimana: prima di tutto rimuovere il serbatoio dell’acqua e
pulirlo delicatamente con l’aiuto di una spazzola. Decalcificare la vasca dell’acqua (20) della
base e la piastra di vaporizzazione (21) con un decalcificante normalmente disponibile in
commercio, quindi risciacquare accuratamente. Fare attenzione che non entri acqua all’interno
dell’apparecchio. A tale scopo riempire la soluzione decalcificante/acquosa solo fino a
un’altezza di 2-3 cm. Riassemblare completamente prima dell’uso.
Sciacquare regolarmente e con cura il serbatoio dell’acqua.
IMPORTANTE DA SAPERE
Indicazioni sul funzionamento di un umidificatore-vaporatore?
Come funziona l’umidificatore d’aria? La piastra di vaporizzazione all'interno dell'apparecchio
scalda l'acqua fino a farla bollire. Viene prodotto del vapore che esce dalla parte superiore
dell'apparecchio attraverso l'apertura (2) e umidifica il locale. Con l'ausilio dell'igrostato (vedi

molto velocemente una grande potenza di umidificazione. Il bollore consente all'acqua di
mantenersi sterile.
Igrostato
Le tolleranze standard di un igrostato integrato sono del +/-10%. Ciò significa che l’umidità relativa
effettiva può discostarsi di conseguenza dai valori impostati. Badare che l'igrostato non venga
coperto, altrimenti non funziona in modo corretto.
Indicazioni sull’acqua
Non utilizzare acqua decalcificata tramite un sistema di decalcificazione a base di sale. Durante
tale procedimento il calcare viene sostituito con sale che a sua volta verrebbe depositato nel locale
sotto forma di polvere bianca.
Per mantenere l’aria igienicamente pulita, utilizzare sempre acqua pulita. L’apparecchio, in particolar
modo il serbatoio, deve sempre essere pulito e igienico.

GUASTI
Dopo l’aggiunta di acqua la spia rossa «No Water» (6) non si spegne:
In caso di mancanza d’acqua l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente e la spia rossa «No
Water» si illumina. Possono essere necessari alcuni minuti affinché l’acqua proveniente dal
serbatoio passi nella parte inferiore in quantità sufficiente per il funzionamento.
In seguito la spia rossa si accende e l'apparecchio può essere rimesso in funzione.
Il serbatoio dell’acqua perde:
Svitare il coperchio (15) e asportarlo. Riavvitare il coperchio (15). Accertarsi che il coperchio del
serbatoio non sia avvitato storto sul serbatoio (13), altrimenti l’acqua fuoriesce.
Potenza ridotta, nessuna produzione di vapore, nessun funzionamento:
Manutenzione secondo il capitolo «Pulizia».
RIPARAZIONI / SMALTIMENTO
Le riparazioni di apparecchi elettrici (sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione) devono essere
eseguite unicamente da personale qualificato adeguatamente formato. In caso di riparazioni
maldestre, si declina ogni responsabilità e la garanzia si estingue.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso dev’essere sostituito dal fabbricante, dal suo
partner di servizio ufficiale o da una persona qualificata al fine di evitare danni.
Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio se un cavo o una spina sono danneggiati, dopo un
malfunzionamento dell’apparecchio, se quest’ultimo è stato fatto cadere o è stato
danneggiato in qualunque altro modo (rotture/crepe al corpo dell’apparecchio).
Non utilizzare nessun oggetto appuntito, abrasivo o sostanze chimiche corrosive.
Rendere immediatamente inutilizzabili gli apparecchi fuori uso (tagliare il cavo di
alimentazione) e consegnarli presso un punto di raccolta idoneo.
Questo apparecchio non deve essere smaltito con i rifiuti domestici. Smaltire l’apparecchio
presso un centro di raccolta rifiuti autorizzato. Raccogliere e riciclare rifiuti elettricied
elettronici consente di risparmiare risorse preziose.
Questo apparecchio non può essere smaltito insieme ai comuni rifiuti domestici!
Consegnare l’apparecchio agli opportuni centri di smaltimento! La raccolta e il
riciclaggio di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche tutela preziose risorse!
Il materiale d’imballaggio è riciclabile. Smaltire l’imballaggio in modo ecologico portandolo al
centro di raccolta di materiale riciclabile.
Se le apparecchiature elettriche non vengono smaltite in modo controllato, sostanze
pericolose possono penetrare nella falda freatica e di conseguenza nella catena alimentare,
con ripercussioni sulla flora e la fauna per numerosi anni.
2 ANNI DI GARANZIA
Durante il periodo di garanzia di due anni a partire dalla data di acquisto dell’apparecchio,
ripariamo o sostituiamo gratuitamente un apparecchio o un componente in cui è stato
riscontrato un difetto di materiale o di lavorazione, oppure sostituiamo (a nostra discrezione)
l’apparecchio o i componenti con un prodotto rimesso a nuovo, senza addebitarvi il costo delle
parti di ricambio o della manodopera.
FATTA ECCEZIONE PER LA GARANZIA DI CUI SOPRA, UNA VOLTA DECORSO IL TERMINE
DELLA GARANZIA, Coplax ESCLUDE QUALSIASI GARANZIA IMPLICITA O DICHIARAZIONE DI
COMMERCIABILITÀ O IDONEITÀ AD UN USO PARTICOLARE DEL PRODOTTO. Nell’ambito della
presente garanzia, Coplax procederà, a propria discrezione, alla riparazione o alla sostituzione
del prodotto. Non verrà accordato ALCUN credito. I diritti specifici di cui sopra sono gli unici ed
esclusivi rimedi in caso di violazione della garanzia di cui sopra.
CHI È COPERTO DALLA GARANZIA?
La garanzia copre l’acquirente originale di un prodotto Coplax acquistato privatamente, in grado
di fornire una prova di acquisto sotto forma di fattura o ricevuta. La garanzia non è trasferibile.
Prima di inviare l’apparecchio occorre inoltrare, per fax, e-mail o posta, copia della fattura di
acquisto originale datata. Indicare il numero del modello dell’apparecchio e una descrizione
dettagliata (preferibilmente dattiloscritta) del problema. Mettere la descrizione in una busta e
attaccarla direttamente all’apparecchio con del nastro adesivo prima di chiudere la scatola. Non
scrivere nulla sulla scatola originale e non modificarla in alcun modo.
Non sono inclusi nella garanzia:
I pezzi che generalmente richiedono una sostituzione come le cartucce del filtro anticalcare,
«Clean Cube», filtro al carbone attivo, filtro assorbente e altri consumabili che necessitano una
sostituzione regolare, a meno che non si tratti di un difetto di materiale o di produzione.
I danni, difetti, perdite o deteriorazioni risultanti da normale usura, uso improprio o scorretto,
negligenza, incidente, installazione carente, collocazione e funzionamento errato, riparazione
maldestra, esposizione a temperature o a condizioni eccessive. Ciò include, tra l’altro, i
danni derivanti da un uso improprio di oli essenziali o prodotti per il trattamento dell’acqua e
detergenti.
I danni derivanti da un imballaggio inappropriato o da errori di movimentazione del
trasportatore in caso di resi.
Montaggio errato o perdita degli accessori, quali ugello, vaschetta delle fragranze, coperchio
del serbatoio, ecc.
Le spese di spedizione e di trasporto verso il luogo di riparazione e ritorno.
Danni particolari diretti, indiretti o conseguenti, di qualsiasi natura, comprese le perdite di
profitto o altre perdite economiche.
I danni da trasporto di un’unità spedita da uno dei nostri rivenditori. Rivolgersi direttamente
al rivenditore.
La presente garanzia non copre i danni o i difetti risultanti dall’inosservanza anche parziale delle
specifiche di Coplax AG in merito all’installazione, al funzionamento, all’utilizzo, alla manutenzione o
alla riparazione dell’apparecchio Coplax.

tecnología de vanguardia. Este aparato contribuirá a su bienestar y mejorará la calidad del
aire en sus habitaciones.
Como en el caso de cualquier electrodoméstico, al utilizar este humidificador es necesaria
una precaución especial para evitar lesiones, incendios y daños en el aparato. Antes de
utilizarlo por primera vez, lea atentamente el presente manual de instrucciones y preste
atención a las normas de seguridad y a las indicaciones impresas en el aparato.

Antes de cualquier operación de mantenimiento, limpieza o después de
cada uso, apague al aparato y desenchufe el cable de la corriente de la
toma.
No coloque el aparato directamente en el suelo. Emplee una base
resistente al agua.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL APARATO
El aparato consta de los siguientes componentes principales (por favor, abrir página de la
portada):
5. Enrosque la tapa del depósito (15) firmemente al depósito.
6. Dé la vuelta al depósito y compruebe que no sale agua.
7. Coloque el depósito en el aparato. Deberá oír el ruido de burbu-
jas (que indica que se está llenando de bandeja de agua).
8. Coloque de nuevo la tapa (4): engánchela primero en la parte in-
ferior y después gírela hacia dentro hasta que quede sujeta con
el cierre magnético (12).
9. Enchufe el cable en la toma de corriente (el display (indicación
«ON/OFF» encendida).
10. Apenas se llena la bandeja de agua, se apaga el indicador rojo
«No Water»- en el display. El aparato está listo para funcionar.
11. Encienda el aparato pulsando el botón «ON/OFF». En el display
aparece brevemente «ON» seguido de la indicación de la hume-
dad ambiente actual (p. ej. «41»). Poco después se oye la ebul-
lición del agua y sale vapor muy caliente. No tocar. ¡Peligro de
quemaduras!
12. Ajustar el valor de humedad: Pulsar reiteradas veces el botón
«HUMIDITY» regular la humedad ambiental que se desea (35-75
% rel.). Valor recomendado 40-60 %. Tan pronto como en el dis-
play se indica de nuevo la humedad ambiente actual, el valor está
guardado y se supervisa automáticamente. La indicación «CO»
(=continuo) significa funcionamiento continuo sin vigilancia de la
humedad ambiente: este modo no se recomienda para un uso
permanente (exceso de humidificación).
13. Ajustar cantidad de vapor: Se puede ajustar pulsando reitera-
das veces el botón «OUTPUT» para regularlo en tres niveles
(1 = bajo, 3 = alto).
14. Ajustar hora de apagado: Pulsar reiteradas veces el botón «TI-
MER». Indicar con «TIMER» después de cuántas horas deberá
apagarse el aparato (01-12 horas, o «00», si no tiene tempori-
zador).
15. Modo noche: Si pulsa el botón «NIGHT MODE», se activará la op-
ción «Modo noche». En este modo, la pantalla LCD se iluminará
de forma muy tenue.
Desconecte la función tocando un botón de funciones.
BREVES INSTRUCCIONES DE PUESTA EN SERVICIO
Estas breves instrucciones permiten a los usuarios con experiencia poner en servicio el aparato
rápidamente. La puesta en servicio se describe en detalle en el capítulo siguiente.
1. Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie estable e impermea-
ble y no directamente sobre una alfombra o un suelo de
madera.
2. Retire la tapa (4) en la parte trasera (cierre magnético). Suje-
te el depósito del agua del asa (13) y gírelo hacia fuera y extrái-
galo hacia arriba.
3. Ponga el depósito de agua boca arriba y desenrosque y retire
la tapa (15).
4. Llene el depósito de agua con máx. 3,5 litros (0.92 US gallo-
nes) de agua fría del grifo.

PRIMER USO / FUNCIONAMIENTO
Obsérvese: nunca transporte el aparato con el depósito de agua lleno. Posibles riesgos:
Demasiada agua del depósito de agua entra en la base principal.
El agua puede escapar fácilmente de la base principal.
El depósito de agua puede caerse de la base principal y resultar dañado a causa del gran peso
del agua (y el agua puede derramarse en el suelo).
1. El humidificador Stylies SIRIUS primero debería colocarse con el depósito de agua vacío (13) en
un lugar adecuado.
2. Una vez que el aparato se encuentre en el lugar deseado: Retire la tapa (4) en la parte trasera
(cierre magnético).
3. Sujete el depósito del agua (13) del asa, gírelo hacia fuera y extráigalo hacia arriba.
4. llene el depósito de agua (13) con máx. 3,5 litros agua fría del grifo y vuelva a enroscar firme-
mente la tapa del depósito (15), compruebe que está cerrada herméticamente. Coloque el de-
pósito de agua en la base principal. Se oye un burbujeo y la bandeja de agua se llena de agua.
5. Enchufe el cable de alimentación a la toma de corriente.
6. Encienda el aparato pulsando el botón «ON/OFF»
en el panel de control. En el display apare-
ce brevemente «ON» seguido de la indicación de la humedad ambiente actual (p. ej. «41»). Poco
después se oye la ebullición del agua y sale vapor muy caliente. No tocar. ¡Peligro de quemadu-
ras. Obsérvese: Con la indicación roja «No Water» encendida, no es posible conectar el aparato.
Controle si el depósito de agua está lleno.
En caso afirmativo, se debe llenar primero la bandeja
de agua (20). Esto puede tardar unos instantes (la indicación roja «No Water» se apaga después
automáticamente).
7. No oriente la salida de vapor hacia paredes, muebles, etc. El símbolo (6) indica el valor de hume-
dad relativa actual en el ambiente, p. ej. «41 %».
8. Ajustar grado de humedad: Pulsar reiteradas veces el botón «Humidity» y ajustarlo mediante
el «HUMIDITY» (35–75 % rel.). Para el hogar se recomienda una humedad de 40-60%.10.
Tan pronto como en el display se indica la humedad ambiente actual, el valor queda guarda-
do, el valor seleccionado queda guardado en la memoria y en el display aparece el valor actual
de la humedad. «CO» («Continuo») significa funcionamiento permanente sin control automáti-
co. (Utilice este ajuste solo por un breve tiempo para evitar una humedad demasiado elevada).
El aparato se enciende automáticamente cuando la humedad ambiente es inferior al valor ajus-
tado y se apaga cuando se supera. Durante la humidificación se indica la humedad ambiente ac-
tual.
Obsérvese: Si «CO» (= funcionamiento continuo) está activado, el aparato NO se apagará au-
tomáticamente. El aparato no se encenderá si se ha ajustado un valor de humedad demasiado
bajo.
9.
Ajustar cantidad de vapor: Se puede ajustar pulsando reiteradas veces el botón de «OUTPUT»
para regularlo en tres niveles (1 = bajo, 3 = alto).
10. Ajustar hora de apagado: Ajustar mediante «TIMER» después de cuántas horas ha de apagar-
se el aparato (01- 12 horas o función apagar con «00»).
11. Modo noche: Si pulsa el botón «NIGHT MODE», se activará la opción «Modo noche». En este
modo, la pantalla LCD se iluminará de forma muy tenue. Desconecte la función tocando un bo-
tón de funciones.
12. Indicación «Falta de agua»: En el display se enciende un indicador LED rojo de advertencia «No
Water» si no hay suficiente agua en el depósito. En este caso de iluminarse el display deberá
apagar el aparato tocando el botón de «encendido/apagado» y rellenar el depósito con agua del
grifo. Coloque de nuevo el depósito en la base y encienda el aparato.
Aviso : Al levantar el depósito de agua puede salir un poco de agua. Cuando se encienda la indica-
ción «Falta de agua», desconecte inmediatamente el aparato para evitar que se dañe.
LIMPIEZA
Antes de llevar a cabo el mantenimiento del aparato, y después de utilizarlo, apáguelo y
desenchúfelo de la corriente eléctrica.
Nunca sumerja el aparato en agua (peligro de cortocircuito). Límpielo con un trapo húmedo y
después séquelo bien.
Descalcifique el humidificador con la frecuencia necesaria según la dureza del agua, pero al
menos una vez por semana: primero retire el depósito de agua y límpielo cuidadosamente
con un cepillo. Descalcifique la bandeja de agua (20) y la placa de evaporación (21) en la parte
inferior del aparato con un descalcificador común de venta en los comercios y enjuáguela
bien. Preste atención a que no penetre agua en el interior del aparato. Por tanto, solo llene
la mezcla de descalcificante y agua hasta una altura de 2-3 cm. Arme de nuevo el aparato
completamente antes de volver a usarlo.
Enjuague bien el depósito de agua, con cierta frecuencia.
UN DATO A TENER EN CUENTA:
Instrucciones de funcionamiento del evaporador
¿Cómo funciona el evaporador? La placa de evaporación en el interior del aparato calienta el agua
hasta su ebullición. El vapor que se produce sale por el orificio de salida (2) en la parte superior
del aparato y humidifica el ambiente. Con ayuda del higrostato (ver párrafo siguiente), se vigila
y regula la humedad ambiente. Un evaporador alcanza muy rápidamente un fuerte potencia de
humidificación. El agua está libre de gérmenes porque hierve.
Higrostato
La tolerancia estándar de un higrostato integrado se sitúa en +/- 10%. Esto significa que la
humedad relativa del aire efectiva puede variar en la misma proporción. No tapar algo el higrostato,
para que el higrostato pueda medir la humedad ambiente relativa de la habitación con la máxima
exactitud y sin interferencia.
Recomendaciones referidas al agua
No emplee agua descalcificada en un equipo de descalcificación a base de agua salada. En esta
clase de instalaciones, la cal se sustituye por sal, y se forma una capa blanca en la habitación.
Hay que emplear siempre agua limpia para que el aire no se contamine. Es importante que el
aparato esté limpio, en especial el depósito de agua.
