• SHUT OFF THE GAS SUPPLY AT THE GAS CONTAINER (BOTTLE) OR SOURCE.
• IMMEDIATELY CALL YOUR GAS SUPPLIER FROM A NEIGHBOR’S PHONE. FOLLOW THE
GAS SUPPLIER’S INSTRUCTIONS.
• IF YOU CANNOT REACH YOUR GAS SUPPLIER, CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
• DO NOT TURN ON THE GAS SUPPLY UNTIL THE GAS LEAK(S) HAVE BEEN REPAIRED.
INSTALLATION AND SERVICE MUST BE PERFORMED BY A QUALIFIED INSTALLER, SERVICE
AGENCY OR THE GAS SUPPLIER.
THIS APPLIANCE IS NOT TO BE INSTALLED WITH A VENTILATION SYSTEM THAT BLOWS AIR
DOWNWARD TOWARDS THE COOKTOP. THIS TYPE OF VENTILATION SYSTEM MAY CAUSE
IGNITION AND COMBUSTION PROBLEMS WITH THE GAS COOKING APPLIANCE, RESULTING

is required to reach over any of the burners to reach the knobs.

ofthethreeknockoutopeningsintheburnerbox(leftside,rightsideor
rear)willbeusedforroutingofthegassupplytubingtothepressure
regulator.Aftermakingselection,knockoutthe1inchplug.Placedrop-
incooktopintothepreparedopeningandsecuretocabinetwithfour(4)
woodscrews.(Notprovided)
NOTE: For models with a manifold extension, place the drop-in
cook top into the prepared opening and secure to the cabinet with
four (4) wood screws. (Not provided)
5.Routegaslinethroughopeninginburnerboxandconnectthegas
linetothe3/8”arettinginsidetheburnerbox.Placenylonbushing
overgaslineandinsertbushingintoopeninginburnerbox.
NOTE: For models with a manifold extension, connect the gas
line to the tting just outside the burner box. Be sure to hold the
tting on the extension with a wrench when tightening the gas
connection. Failure to hold tting secure could result in a gas leak
due to tting being damaged.
CAUTION: Gas supply tubing within the connes of the appliance
connection shall be rigid or semirigid metallic tubing.
6.Besureallopeningsinthecabinetsaroundthegaslinearesealedat
timeofinstallation.
CAUTION: It is imperative that the cabinet in which the cook
top is placed be separated from other appliances so that the
combustion air supply to the top burners can not be affected
in any way by any forced-air heating appliance or its return
air system or by any other source of positive or negative air
pressure. A negative air pressure created by another forced air
appliance may draw the ame down around the top burners
and into the cook top resulting in damage to the burners and
cook top, as well as possible personal injury and/or damage to
vehicle. A positive draft could cause the burner ame to lift-off
the burner and go out resulting in an uncontrolled escape of
gas. Whenever the gas fumes reach an open ame or another
ignition source, an explosion and/or re will occur resulting in
property damage, personal injury and/or loss of life.
7.Besureburnerknobsarein“off”position.Turnongassupply.Check
allconnectionsforleaks.
WARNING: Never check for leaks with an open ame. Apply a
soap and water solution to all joints to see if bubbles are formed.
NOTE:Theappliancemustbedisconnectedfromthegassupplypiping
systemduringanypressuretestingofthatsystemattestpressurein
excessof1/2PSIG.

8.Remove the top and the grate(s) from their packing - Install the
grate(s)onthetop.
9.Positionthetopovertheburnersandsecureinplacewithtwo(2)
thumbscrewsandtwo(2)nylonwashersprovided.
10.YourSuburbanDrop-inCooktopisnowreadyforoperation.Before
operating, read the safety information and operating instructions
containedinthismanual.
11. Ifinstallationofthisproductisinaportablecountertop,thefollowing
additionalguidelinesmustbefollowed:
a.Portablecountertopisprovidedbyinstallerandmustbeable
tosupportaminimumweightof20lbs.
b.OEM mustprovidealabelplacedonthecountertopthat
clearly states the maximum weight that can be added to the
portable counter top after installation. (This should take into
accounttheweightofthecookingunit-20lbs).
FOR EXAMPLE: Mountingbracketusedisratedfor100lbs.
OEMshouldweighfabricatedcountertop.Subtractweightof
countertop(i.e.20lbs)andweightofcookingunit(20lbs.)from
100lbs.Theweightlabelshouldsaynomorethan60lbs.can
be put on the counter top.
c. Thesurfacematerialforthecountertopmustberatedfora
minimumof 200°Fcontinuousoperationtemperature withthe
maximumweightapplied.
d. Minimum clearances from combustible walls above and
belowthecountertopmustbeadheredtoduringoperation.
e. TheOEMmustprovideawarninglabelplacedonthecounter
topthatrequirestheunittobecooledaminimumof30minutes
afterusebeforestoring.
f.Duringstorage,aclearanceof1"mustbemaintainedfrom
thetopsurfaceoftheunit.
g. NOTE:Thegasmustbeturned"OFF"anddisconnected
whenstored.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Listedbelowaresomeveryimportantfactsthatyoushouldfollow.They
arelistedforyourprotectionandsafety.
1.Have your dealer show you where the main gas shut-off valve is
locatedandhowtoshutitoffinanemergency.
2.Useyourcooktoponlyforitsintendeduse.
WARNING! NEVER use this appliance as a space heater to heat
or warm the room. Doing so may result in carbon monoxide
poisoning and overheating of the appliance.
3.Ifthecooktopisnearawindow,properprecautionsshouldbetaken
topreventcurtainsfromblowingoverburnerscreatingarehazard.
4.Keeptheareaaroundthecooktopcleanandclearofanycombustible
materials,gasolineorotherammablevaporsandliquids.
5.Donotleavechildrenaloneorunsupervisedinareawherecooktop
isbeingused.Thetopburners,burnergratesandotherareasnearthe
burnersbecomehotenoughtocausesevereburns.
6.Childrenshouldbetaughtthatthecooktopisnotatoy.Theyshould
not be allowed to play with the controls or any other parts of the
appliance.
7.Donotstoreitemsofinteresttochildrenincabinetsaboveornear
thecooktop.Childrenclimbingontheappliancetoreachitemscould
beseriouslyinjured.
8.Donotwear loosettingclothingorlong-hangingsleevedclothing
whileusingtheappliance.Iftheycontacttheopenameoftheburner,
theycouldigniteandcausesevereburns.
9.Use only dry pot holders to remove hot utensils. Using damp pot
holdersonhotsurfacescouldresultinburnstohands.Donotusea
towelorbulkyclothforapotholder.Theclothcouldcontactopename
andcatchre.
10.Never heat an unopened container. Pressure build-up within the
containercancauseittoexplode.
11.Keepcooktopclean.Thebuild-upofgreaseandfoodboil-overand/
orspillagecancreatearehazard.

12.Avoidusingyourcooktoporanyotherapplianceifyousmellgas.
Donot assume thatthesmellofgas inyourRVisnormal.Any time
youdetecttheodorofgas,itistobeconsideredlifethreateningand
correctedimmediately.Extinguishanyopenamesincludingcigarettes
andevacuateallpersonsfromthevehicle.ShutoffgassupplyatLPgas
bottle.(Seesafetynoticeonfrontcoverofthismanual.)
13.Turnpanhandlesinwardortowardbackofcooktopandoutofthe
wayofpeoplewalkingpastcooktopand/oroutofthereachofchildren.
Donotturnhandlestowheretheyareovertheburners.
14. Donotusewaterongreaseres.Neverpickupaamingpan.
Smothera amingpanwith alidor atpan.Flaming greaseoutside
thepancanbe extinguished with baking soda or a multipurposedry
chemicalreextinguisher.
15.Neverleavetopburner(s)unattended.
a.Forsuchreasonsasdowndraftsthatcouldbecreatedby
openingandclosingofcabinetdoorsordoorswithintheRV
orbypositiveornegativeairpressuresaffectingburnersdue
toimproperinstallation,(seeparagraph6underInstallation)
theburnercouldextinguishresultingingasescapingintothe
RV. Remember, gas to burners is controlled manually, you
mustturngas“ONand“”OFF”.
b. Aboilovercouldoccurandthespillcouldignite.
16. Flamesize
a. Never extend the ame beyond the outer edge of the
utensil.Ahigheramesimplywastesheatandenergy.
b. Correct ame size is determined by utensil size and
material,whatyouarecookingandwhetherornotyouare
cookingwithliquid.
17. Topreventdamagetothecooktop,topburners,ortopgrate,never
operateatopburnerwithoutapaninplace.Thetopburners,especially
thehighinputburner(ifequipped),shouldnotbeoperatedonhighfor
anextendedperiodoftime.
Usethehighamesettingtobegin,thenreducetheametoalower
settingtocontinuecooking.Neverusecookwarewhichextendsbeyond
oneinchofthegrate,orrestsovertwooperatingtopburners.Thiswill
causeexcessiveheatbuild-upwhichresultsindamagetothegrate,top
burner,andcooktop.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Knowwhichknobcontrolswhichburner.Alwaysbesurethecorrect
burneristurnedon.
2.Depressknobandturnfullycounter-clockwiseto“Lite”position.
a.Verifysufcientgassupplybeforeattemptingtolighttheburner.
Airinthegaslinewillsignicantlydelayburnerignition.Theburner
maylightunexpectedlyastheairinthelineclearsandisreplacedby
LPgas.Thisunexpectedignitioncouldburnyou.Airinthegaslines
mayoccurafterthevehiclegasbottleand/ortankisrelled,during
andafterservicingotherappliancesonsamegasline,etc.
b. Do not attempt to light more than one burner at a time.
c. Immediatelylightburnerbyholdingalongmatchneartheburner
ports.
CAUTION: Hand held ignitors may be used but be sure they are the
type designed for lighting open ame burners.
3. Ifanyburnershouldextinguishafterinitiallightingorduetoaccidental
blow-out,turngasoffbyturningcontrolknobclockwise to“OFF”,
waitve(5)minutesbeforeattemptingtorelighttheburner.Failureto
followtheseinstructionscouldresultinareorexplosion.
Iftheburnershouldgooutwhilecooking,orifthereisanodorofgas,
turncontrolknob(s)clockwise to“OFF”.Waitve(5)minutesfor
gasodortodisappear.Ifgasodorisstillpresent-Donotrelightburners.

4.Toturnburner(s)“OFF”,turntheappropriatecontrolknobclockwise
to“OFF”.
WARNING! Be sure all control knobs are turned “OFF” when
you are not cooking. Someone could be burned or a re could
start if a burner is accidently left on or unattended even if only
momentarily.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING! If the user of this appliance fails to maintain it in the condition in which it was shipped from the factory or if the appliance
is not used solely for its intended purpose or if appliance is not maintained in accordance with the instructions in this manual, then
the risk of a re and/or the production of carbon monoxide exists which can cause personal injury, property damage or loss of life.
1.Makesureallcontrolsare“OFF”andthedrop-incooktopiscoolbeforecleaning.
2.Makesurethatallcooktopsurfaces,burnergratesandburnersarecoolbeforecleaningordisassemblingcooktop.
3. Donotuseovencleaners,bleachorrustremoversonthecooktoporburnergrates.
4. Donotobstructtheowofcombustionandventilationair.
5. Cleanallsurfacesassoonaspossibleafterboiloversorspillovers.
6. Usewarmsoapywateronlytocleantheburnergrates,cooktops,paintedsurfaces,porcelainsurfaces,stainlesssteelsurfacesandplasticitems
onyourdrop-incooktop.Donotusegritoracid-typecleaners.
7. Donotusesteelwoolorabrasivecleaners.Theywilldamageyourdrop-incooktop.Useonlynon-abrasiveplasticscrubbingpads.
8. Donotallowfoodscontainingacids(suchaslemonortomatojuice,orvinegar)toremainonporcelainorpaintedsurfaces.Acidsmayremove
theglossynish.
9. Donotwashwarmporcelainsurfaces.Allowtheseareastocoolbeforecleaning.Youcouldburnyourselfortheporcelaincouldcrack.
10.Pittinganddiscolorationwillresultifspillsareallowedtoremainforanylengthoftimeonstainlesssteel.
11.Donotallowspilloverstoremainontheburnercaps.Thecapscouldbepermanentlystainedifspilloversarenotcleaneduppromptly.
12.Ifanyoftheburnerportsortheoriceareclogged,carefullycleanwithasmallwireorneedle.Besurenottoenlargeports.Neveruseawire
brushforcleaningburnerportsororice.Neveruseanybrushwhichmay“shed”bristles,whichmaybecomelodgedintheoriceorburnerports
andcauseareorexplosion.
TO REMOVE THE STOVE TOP
1.Removethetwo(2)thumbscrewsfromthesidesofthestovetop.Liftthestovetopclearoftheburnerbox.
2.Toreinstalltop,reversetheprocedure.
TO REMOVE GRATE(S)
1.Removethetop.
2. Squeezeoppositesidesofthegratetogetherandliftfreeofthedrop-intop.
3. Toreinstallgrate(s)reversetheprocedure.

ThisSuburbanproductiswarrantedtotheoriginalpurchasertobefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipundernormaluseandmaintenanceforaperiodof
twoyearsfromdateofpurchasewhetherornotactualusebeginsonthatdate.Allporcelainparts,includingtopburnergrates,arewarrantedascommerciallyaccept-
ableonlyasofthedatetheproductwasmanufactured.Itistheresponsibilityoftheconsumer/ownertoestablishthewarrantyperiod.Suburbandoesnotusewarranty
registrationcardsforitsstandardwarranty.YouarerequiredtofurnishproofofpurchasedatethroughaBillofSaleorotherpaymentrecords.
SuburbanwillreplaceanypartsthatarefounddefectivewithinthersttwoyearsandwillpayawarrantyserviceallowancedirectlytotherecommendedSuburban
ServiceCenteratratesmutuallyagreeduponbetweenSuburbananditsrecommendedservicecenters.ReplacementpartswillbeshippedFOBtheshippingpoint
withintheContinentalUnitedStates,AlaskaandCanadatotherecommendedservicecenterperformingsuchrepairs.Allfreight,shippinganddeliverycostsshall
betheresponsibilityoftheowner.Theexchangedpartorunitwillbewarrantedforonlytheunexpiredportionoftheoriginalwarranty.Beforehavingwarrantyrepairs

5. Failuretooperateduetolooseordisconnectedwires;waterordirtincontrols,fuellinesandgastanks;impropergaspressure;lowvoltage.
6. Cleaningoradjustmentofcomponents;electrode,burnertube,pilotandthermocouple.
7. Costsincurredingainingaccesstotherangeappliance.
8. PartsoraccessoriesnotsuppliedbySuburban.
9. Freightchargesincurredfrompartsreplacements.
10. Damageorrepairsneededasaconsequenceofanymisapplication,abuse,unreasonableuse,unauthorizedalteration,improperservice,improperoperationor
failuretoprovidereasonableandnecessarymaintenance.
11. Suburbanproductswhoseserialnumberhasbeenaltered,defacedorremoved.
12. SuburbanproductsinstalledorwarrantyclaimsoriginatingoutsidetheContinentalU.S.A.,Alaska,HawaiiandCanada.
13. Damageasaresultofoods,winds,lightning,accidents,corrosiveatmosphereorotherconditionsbeyondthecontrolofSuburban.
14. Anyspecial,indirectorconsequentialproperty,economicorcommercialdamageofanynaturewhatsoever.
Somestatesdonotallowtheexclusionofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,sotheabovelimitationmaynotapplytoyou.

14. Nepasessayerd’éteindreunfeudegraisseavecdel’eau.Nejamaissaisir
unustensileenammé.Pouréteindreunfeuquis’estdéclarédansunustensile,
placeruncouvercleplatsurl’ustensile.Pouréteindreunfeudegraissehorsd’un
ustensile,utiliserdubicarbonatedesodiumouunextincteurpolyvalentàproduit
chimiquesec.
15. Nejamaislaisserl’appareilsanssurveillancelorsqu’unbrûleurestallumé.
a. Pour des raisons telles que les projets vers le bas qui pourraient être
créés par l’ouverture et de fermeture de portes d’armoires ou des portes
dansleRVouparpressiond’airpositiveounégativeaffectantbrûleursdus
àuneinstallationincorrecte,(voirleparagraphe6delarubriqueInstallation)
le brûleur peut s’éteindre dans les gaz résultant s’échapper dans le RV.
Rappelez-vous, de gaz aux brûleurs est commandée manuellement, vous
devezactivergaz“ON”etsur“OFF”.
b.L’ébullitionducontenud’unustensilepourraitprovoquerundébordement
etl’inammationduproduitrenversé.
16. Tailledesammes
a. Réglertoujoursunbrûleurdetellemanièrequelesammesnedépassent
pas la périphérie de l'ustensile. Le dépassement des ammes au-delà de
l'ustensilesusciteungaspillagedechaleuretd'énergie.
b. Latailledeammecorrecteàutiliserdépenddelatailleetdumatériaude
l'ustensile,etdelanatureducontenu(liquide,solide,etc.).
17. Pouréviterd’endommagerlatabledecuisson,unbrûleurouunegrille,ne
jamaisfairefonctionnerunbrûleurenl'absenced'unustensiledecuisson.Onne
doitpasfairefonctionnerlesbrûleursdelatabledecuisson,particulièrementle
brûleurdehautepuissance(lecaséchéant),àlapuissancemaximaledurantune
périodeprolongée.
Régler pour obtenir une puissance de chauffage élevée au début seulement,
puis réduire la puissance de chauffage pour poursuivre la cuisson. Ne jamais
utiliserunustensiledecuissonquidébordedelagrilledeplusde25mm,ouqui
reposesur deuxbrûleursallumésdela tablede cuisson;ceci provoqueraitun
échauffementexcessifquiferaitsubirdesdommagesàlatabledecuisson,au
brûleurouàlagrille.
INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION
1. Savoirquelbrûleurestcommandéparchaqueboutondecommande.Veillerà
toujoursutiliserleboutondecommandeapproprié.
2. Appuyersurleboutonetfairetournerleboutoncomplètementdanslesens
antihoraire jusqu’àlaposition“Lite”.
a. Vérier que le gaz arrive en quantité sufsante avant d'essayer
d'allumer le brûleur. La présence d'air dans la canalization retardera
sensiblementl'allumagedubrûleur.L'utilisateurpourraitainsisubirune
brûlurelorsdel'inammationinattenduedugaz.Del'airpeuts'introduire
dans la canalisation de gaz lors d'un changement/remplissage de la
bouteilledegaz,lorsd'uneopérationd'entretieneffectuéesurunappareil
alimentéparlamêmecanalisation,etc.
b. Allumer un seul brûleur à la fois.
c. Tenir une longue allumette près des ouvertures pour allumer
instantanémentlebrûleur.MISE EN GARDE : Il est possible d’utiliser
un briquet à gaz, s'il est d'un type conçu pour les brûleurs à amme
nue.
3. Si un brûleur s'éteint après l'allumage initial ou accidentellement, fermer
l'arrivéedegaz:fairetournerleboutondanslesenshoraire jusqu’àlaposition
d'arrêt “off”; attendre cinq (5) minutes avant d'essayer d'allumer de nouveau
le brûleur. Le non-respect de ces instructions pourrait provoquer incendie ou
explosion.
Silebrûleurs'éteintaucoursd'unecuisson,ousiuneodeurdegazestperceptible,
faire tourner le bouton dans le sens horaire jusqu’à la position d'arrêt “off”;
attendrecinq(5)minutespourquel'odeurdegazdisparaisse.Sil'odeurdegaz
persiste,nepas allumerdenouveau lebrûleur.Voiren premièrlapage dece
manuellasection“Quefairesiuneodeurdegazestperceptible”.
4. Pouréteindreunbrûleur,fairetournerleboutondecommandeappropriédans
lesenshoraire jusqu’àlapositiond'arrêt“off”.
AVERTISSEMENT : Veiller à ce que chaque bouton de commande soit
à la position d'arrêt “off” lorsqu'un brûleur n'est pas utilisé. Si un
brûleur est laissé allumé par accident ou laissé sans surveillance même

NOTE: Pour les modèles avec une extension de collecteur, placez la table de
cuisson dans l’ouverture preparée et xez-la au comptoir à l’aide de quatre
(4) vis à bois. (Non fournies)
5.Acheminerlacanalisationdegazàtraversl'ouverturedelaboîtedesbrûleurs
etraccorderlacanalisationdegazsurleraccordévasé3/8poàl'intérieurdela
boîtedesbrûleurs.Enlerunobturateur denylonsurlacanalisationdegaz et
insérerl'obturateurdansl'ouverturedelaboîtedesbrûleurs.
NOTE: Pour les modèles avec une extension collecteur, connectez la ligne
de gaz au raccord à l'extérieur de la boîte de brûleur. Veillez à tenir le raccord
sur l'extension avec une clé lors du serrage du raccordement au gaz. Défaut
de tenir une montage sécurisé pourrait entraîner une fuite de gaz en raison
de raccord étant endommagé.
MISE EN GARDE : Utiliser uniquement du tube métallique rigide ou semi-
rigide pour le raccordement de la cuisinière.

degazdansleplacard.
MISE EN GARDE : Il est impératif que le placard dans lequel l’appareil
est installé soit séparé des autres appareils, de telle manière que
l'alimentation en air de combustion des brûleurs ne soit jamais perturbée
par le fonctionnement d'un appareil de chauffage à air pulsé ou son
système d'alimentation, ou par toute autre source de pression d'air
positive ou négative. Une dépression créé par un autre appareil à pulsage
d'air peut provoquer un abaissement de la amme autour des brûleurs
de la table de cuisson et dans la table de cuisson, ce qui peut faire subir
des dommages aux brûleurs et à la table de cuisson, ainsi qu'au véhicule,
et éventuellement provoquer des dommages corporels. Un courant d'air
sous pression positive peut provoquer l'extinction d'un brûleur qui
serait ensuite suivie d'un débit de gaz non contrôlé. Dès que le mélange
air/gaz qui se formerait ainsi atteindrait une source d'inammation
quelconque, l'explosion et l'incendie qui en résulteraient provoqueraient
des dommages matériels et corporels, voire un accident mortel.
7. Vérierquelesboutonsdecommandedesbrûleurssontàlapositiond'arrêt
“Off”.Ouvrirl'arrivéedegaz.Inspectertouteslesconnexionspourrechercherles
fuites.
AVERTISSEMENT: Ne jamais utiliser une amme nue ou autre source
d’inammation lors de l’inspection de recherche des fuites. Appliquer
de l’eau savonneuse sur tous les joints pour déterminer une éventuelle
formation de bulles.
NOTE:Lorsde tout test de pressurisationdu système à une pression detest
supérieure à 1/2 lb/po2 rel., l’appareil doit être déconnecté de la canalisation
d'alimentationengaz.
8. Retirerlaplaquesupérieureetla/lesgrille(s)deleuremballage-Installerla
grillesurlatabledecuisson.
9. Positionnerlaplaquesupérieurepar-dessuslesbrûleurs;immobiliserlaplaque
supérieureavecdeux(2)vismanuellesavecrondelledenylon(fournies).
10. LatabledecuissonàencastrerSuburbanestmaintenantprêteàfonctionner.
