WARNING: Installation of cook top cannot be such that the user is
required to reach over any of the burners to reach the knobs.
4.Beforeplacingdrop-incooktopintocabinet,determinewhichoneofthethree
knockoutopeningsintheburnerbox(leftside,rightsideorrear)willbeusedfor
routingofthegassupplytubingtothepressureregulator.Aftermakingselection,
knockoutthe1inchplug.Placedrop-incooktopintothepreparedopeningand
securetocabinetwithfour(4)woodscrews.(Notprovided)
5. Routegaslinethroughopeninginburnerboxandconnectthegaslinetothe
3/8”are ttinginsidethe burnerbox.Place nylonbushingovergas lineand
insertbushingintoopeninginburnerbox.
CAUTION: Gas supply tubing within the connes of the appliance
connection shall be rigid or semi-regid metallic tubing.
6. Besureallopeningsinthecabinetryaroundthegaslinearesealedattimeof
installation.
CAUTION: It is imperative that the cabinet in which the cook top is placed
be separated from other appliances so that the combustion air supply to
the top burners can not be affected in any way by any forced-air heating
appliance or its return air system or by any other source of positive or
negative air pressure. A negative air pressure created by another forced
air appliance may draw the ame down around the top burners and into
the cook top resulting in damage to the burners and cook top, as well
as possible personal injury and/or damage to vehicle. A positive draft
could cause the burner ame to lift-off the burner and go out resulting in
an uncontrolled escape of gas. Whenever the gas fumes reach an open
ame or another ignition source, an explosion and/or re will occur
resulting in property damage, personal injury and/or loss of life.
7. Be sure burner knobs are in “off” position. Turn on gas supply. Check all
connectionsforleaks.
WARNING: Never check for leaks with an open ame. Apply a soap and
water solution to all joints to see if bubbles are formed.
NOTE: The appliance must be disconnected from the gas supply piping
systemduringanypressure testing of that system at testpressureinexcess
of1/2PSIG.
8. Removethetopandthegrate(s)fromtheirpacking-Installthegrate(s)onthe
top.
9. Position the top over the burners and secure in place with two (2) thumb
screwsandtwo(2)nylonwashersprovided.
10. Your Suburban Drop-in Cook top is now ready for operation. Before
operating,readthesafetyinformationandoperatinginstructions contained in
thismanual.
11. If installation of this product is in a portable counter top, the following
additionalguidelinesmustbefollowed:
a.  Portable counter top is provided b installer and must be able to
supportaminimumweightof20lbs.
b.OEMmust provide a label placed on the counter top that clearly
statesthemaximumweightthatcanbeaddedtotheportablecounter
topafterinstallation.(Thisshouldtakeintoaccounttheweightofthe
cookingunit-20lbs).
FOR EXAMPLE:  Mounting bracket used is rated for 100 lbs. OEM
shouldweighfabricatedcountertop.Subtractweightofcountertop(i.e.

Listed below are some very important facts that you should follow. They are
listedforyourprotectionandsafety.
1. Haveyourdealershowyouwherethemaingasshut-offvalveislocatedand
howtoshutitoffinanemergency.
2. Useyourcooktoponlyforitsintendeduse.
WARNING! NEVER use this appliance as a space heater to heat or warm
the room. Doing so may result in carbon monoxide poisoning and
overheating of the appliance.
3. If the cook top is near a window, proper precautions should be taken to
preventcurtainsfromblowingoverburnerscreatingarehazard.
4. Keep the area around the cook top clean and clear of any combustible
materials,gasolineorotherammablevaporsandliquids.
5. Donotleavechildrenaloneorunsupervisedinareawherecooktopisbeing
used.Thetopburners,burnergratesandotherareasneartheburnersbecome
hotenoughtocausesevereburns.
6. Childrenshouldbetaughtthatthecooktopisnotatoy.Theyshouldnotbe
allowedtoplaywiththecontrolsoranyotherpartsoftheappliance.
7. Do not store items of interest to children in cabinets above or near the
cooktop.Childrenclimbingontheappliancetoreachitemscouldbeseriously
injured.
8. Donotwearloosettingclothingorlong-hangingsleevedclothingwhileusing
theappliance.Iftheycontacttheopenameoftheburner,theycouldigniteand
causesevereburns.
9. Useonlydrypotholderstoremovehotutensils.Usingdamppotholderson
hotsurfacescouldresultinburnstohands.Donotuseatowelorbulkyclothfor
apotholder.Theclothcouldcontactopenameandcatchre.
10. Neverheatanunopenedcontainer.Pressurebuild-upwithinthecontainer
cancauseittoexplode.
11. Keep cook top clean. The build-up of grease and food boil-over and/or
spillagecancreatearehazard.
12. Avoidusingyourcooktoporanyotherapplianceifyousmellgas.Donot
assume that the smell of gas in your RV is normal.Any time you detect the
odorof gas,itistobe consideredlifethreatening andcorrectedimmediately.
Extinguishanyopenamesincludingcigarettesandevacuateallpersonsfrom
thevehicle. Shut offgassupply at LPgasbottle.(See safety notice on front
coverofthismanual.)
13. Turnpanhandlesinwardortowardbackofcooktopandoutofthewayof
peoplewalking pastcook topand/oroutofthe reachofchildren.Donot turn
handlestowheretheyareovertheburners.
14. Donotusewaterongreaseres.Neverpick-upaamingpan.Smother
a aming pan with a lid or at pan. Flaming grease outside the pan can be
extinguishedwithbakingsodaoramultipurposedrychemicalreextinguisher.
15.Neverleavetopburner(s)unattended.
a.Forsuchreasonsasdowndraftsthatcouldbecreatedbyopening
andclosingofcabinetdoorsordoorswithintheRVorbypositiveor
negativeairpressuresaffectingburnersduetoimproperinstallation.
(See paragraph 6 under Installation.) The burner could extinguish
resultingingasescapingintotheRV.Remember,gastoburnersis
controlledmanually,youmustturngas“ONand“”OFF”.
b. Aboilovercouldoccurandthespillcouldignite.
16. Flamesize
a. Neverextendtheamebeyondtheouteredgeoftheutensil.A
higheramesimplywastesheatandenergy.
b.Correctamesizeisdeterminedbyutensilsizeandmaterial,what
youarecookingandwhetherornotyouarecookingwithliquid.
17. Topreventdamagetothecooktop,topburners,ortopgrate,neveroperate
atopburnerwithoutapaninplace.Thetopburners,especiallythehighinput
burner(ifequipped),shouldnotbeoperatedonhighforanextendedperiodof
time.
Usethehighamesettingtobegin,thenreducetheametoalowersettingto
continuecooking.Neverusecookwarewhichextendsbeyondoneinchofthe
grate,orrestsovertwooperatingtopburners.Thiswillcauseexcessiveheat
build-upwhichresultsindamagetothegrate,topburner,andcooktop.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Knowwhichknobcontrolswhichburner.Alwaysbesurethecorrectburneris
turnedon.
2. Depressknobandturnfullycounter-clockwise to“Lite”position.
a. Verify sufcient gas supply before attempting to light the burner. Air
inthegaslinewill signicantly delay burner ignition.Theburnermaylight
unexpectedlyas the air in the line clears and isreplacedbyLPgas. This
unexpectedignitioncouldburnyou.Airinthegaslinesmayoccurafterthe
vehicle gas bottle and/or tank is relled, during and after servicing other
appliancesonsamegasline,etc.
b. Do not attempt to light more than one burner at a time.
c. Immediatelylightburnerbyholdingalongmatchneartheburnerports.
CAUTION: Hand held ignitors may be used but be sure they are the type
designed for lighting open ame burners.
3. If any burner should extinguish after initial lighting or due to accidental
blow-out,turngasoffbyturningcontrolknobclockwise to“OFF”,wait
ve(5)minutesbeforeattemptingtorelighttheburner.Failuretofollowthese
instructionscouldresultinareorexplosion.
If the burner should go out while cooking, or if there is an odor of gas, turn
controlknob(s)clockwise to“OFF”.Waitve(5)minutesforgasodorto
disappear.Ifgasodorisstillpresent-Donotrelightburners.See“WhatToDoIf
YouSmellGas”onthefrontcoverofthismanual.
4. Toturnburner(s)“OFF”,turntheappropriatecontrolknobclockwise to
“OFF”.
WARNING! Be sure all control knobs are turned “OFF” when you are not
cooking. Someone could be burned or a re could start if a burner is
accidently left on or unattended even if only momentarily.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! If the user of this appliance fails to maintain it in the
condition in which it was shipped from the factory or if the appliance is
not used solely for its intended purpose or if appliance is not maintained
in accordance with the instructions in this manual, then the risk of a
re and/or the production of carbon monoxide exists which can cause
personal injury, property damage or loss of life.
1. Make sure all controls are “OFF” and the drop-in cook top is cool before
cleaning.
2. Make sure that all cook top surfaces, burner grates and burners are cool
beforecleaningordisassemblingcooktop.
3. Donotuseovencleaners,bleachorrustremoversonthecooktoporburner
grates.
4. Donotobstructtheowofcombustionandventilationair.
5. Cleanallsurfacesassoonaspossibleafterboiloversorspillovers.
6. Usewarmsoapywateronlytocleantheburnergrates,cooktops,painted
surfaces,porcelainsurfaces,stainlesssteelsurfacesandplasticitemsonyour
drop-incooktop.Donotusegritoracid-typecleaners.
7. Donotusesteelwoolorabrasivecleaners.Theywilldamageyourdrop-in
cooktop.Useonlynon-abrasiveplasticscrubbingpads.
8. Donotallowfoodscontainingacids(suchaslemonortomatojuice,orvinegar)
toremainonporcelainorpaintedsurfaces.Acidsmayremovetheglossynish.
9. Do not wash warm porcelain surfaces.Allow these areas to cool before
cleaning.Youcouldburnyourselfortheporcelaincouldcrack.
10. Pitting and discoloration will result if spills are allowed to remain for any
lengthoftimeonstainlesssteel.
11. Donotallowspilloverstoremainontheburnercaps.Thecapscouldbe
permanentlystainedifspilloversarenotcleaneduppromptly.
12. Ifanyoftheburnerportsortheoriceareclogged,carefullycleanwitha
smallwireorneedle.Besurenottoenlargeports.Neveruseawirebrushfor
cleaningburnerportsororice.Neveruseanybrushwhichmay“shed”bristles,
which may become lodged in the orice or burner ports and cause a re or
explosion.
TO REMOVE THE STOVE TOP
1. Removethetwo (2)thumbscrews fromthesidesofthestovetop.Liftthe
stovetopclearoftheburnerbox.
2. Toreinstalltop,reversetheprocedure.
TO REMOVE GRATE(S)
1. Removethetop.
2. Squeezeoppositesidesofthegratetogetherandliftfreeofthedrop-intop.
3. Toreinstallgrate(s)reversetheprocedure.

TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
ThisSuburbanproductiswarrantedtotheoriginalpurchasertobefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipundernormaluseandmaintenanceforaperiodoftwoyears
fromdateofpurchasewhetherornotactualusebeginsonthatdate.Allporcelainparts,includingtopburnergrates,arewarrantedascommerciallyacceptableonlyasofthe
datetheproductwasmanufactured.Itistheresponsibilityoftheconsumer/ownertoestablishthewarrantyperiod.Suburbandoesnotusewarrantyregistrationcardsforits
standardwarranty.YouarerequiredtofurnishproofofpurchasedatethroughaBillofSaleorotherpaymentrecords.
SuburbanwillreplaceanypartsthatarefounddefectivewithinthersttwoyearsandwillpayawarrantyserviceallowancedirectlytotherecommendedSuburbanService
Centeratratesmutually agreed upon between Suburban and its recommended service centers. Replacement parts willbeshippedFOBtheshippingpoint within the
ContinentalUnitedStates,AlaskaandCanadatotherecommendedservicecenterperformingsuchrepairs.Allfreight,shippinganddeliverycostsshallbetheresponsibility
oftheowner.Theexchangedpartorunitwillbewarrantedforonlytheunexpiredportionoftheoriginalwarranty.Beforehavingwarrantyrepairsmade,conrmthatthe
serviceagencyisarecommendedservicecenterforSuburban.DO NOT PAY THE SERVICE AGENCY FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS; SUCH PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE
REIMBURSED.
Suburbanreservestherighttoexaminetheallegeddefectintherangeapplianceorcomponentparts,anditistheowner’sobligationtoreturntherangeapplianceand/or
componentpartstoSuburbanoritsrepresentative.Whenreturningarangeappliance,itmustincludeallcomponentpartsandtheserialnumberplate.Returnedcomponent
partsmustbeindividuallytaggedandidentiedwiththerangeappliance’smodelnumber,serialnumberanddateofinstallation.
Forwarrantyservice,theowner/usershouldcontactthenearestrecommendedSuburbanServiceCenter,advisingthemofthemodelandserialnumbers(locatedunderneath
themaintop)andthenatureofthedefect.TransportationoftheRVtoandfromtheServiceCenterand/ortravelexpensesoftheServiceCentertoyourlocationisthe

INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION
1. Savoirquelbrûleurestcommandéparchaqueboutondecommande.Veiller
àtoujoursutiliserleboutondecommandeapproprié.
2. Appuyersurleboutonetfairetournerleboutoncomplètementdanslesens
antihoraire jusqu’àlaposition“Lite”.
a.  Vérier que le gaz arrive en quantité sufsante avant d'essayer
d'allumer le brûleur. La présence d'air dans la canalization retardera
sensiblementl'allumagedubrûleur.L'utilisateurpourraitainsisubirune
brûlurelorsdel'inammationinattenduedugaz.Del'airpeuts'introduire
dans la canalisation de gaz lors d'un changement/remplissage de
la bouteille de gaz, lors d'une opération d'entretien effectuée sur un
appareilalimentéparlamêmecanalisation,etc.
b. Allumer un seul brûleur à la fois.
c.  Tenir une longue allumette près des ouvertures pour allumer
instantanémentlebrûleur.MISE EN GARDE : Il est possible d’utiliser
un briquet à gaz, s'il est d'un type conçu pour les brûleurs à
amme nue.
3. Si un brûleur s'éteint après l'allumage initial ou accidentellement, fermer
l'arrivée de gaz: faire tourner le bouton dans le sens horaire    jusqu’à la
position d'arrêt “off”; attendre cinq (5) minutes avant d'essayer d'allumer de
nouveau le brûleur. Le non-respect de ces instructions pourrait provoquer
incendieouexplosion.
Si le brûleur s'éteint au cours d'une cuisson, ou si une odeur de gaz est
perceptible,fairetournerleboutondanslesenshoraire jusqu’àlaposition
d'arrêt“off”;attendrecinq(5)minutespourquel'odeurdegazdisparaisse.Si
l'odeurdegazpersiste,nepasallumerdenouveaulebrûleur.Voirenpremièrla
pagedecemanuellasection“Quefairesiuneodeurdegazestperceptible”.
4. Pouréteindreunbrûleur, faire tourner le bouton de commande approprié
danslesenshoraire jusqu’àlapositiond'arrêt“off”.
AVERTISSEMENT : Veiller à ce que chaque bouton de commande soit
à la position d'arrêt “off” lorsqu'un brûleur n'est pas utilisé. Si un
brûleur est laissé allumé par accident ou laissé sans surveillance même
momentanément, quelqu'un pourrait subir une brûlure ou un incendie
pourrait se déclarer.
ENTRETIEN
AVERTISSEMENT ! Si l’usager de cet appareil néglige de le maintenir
dans les conditions dans lesquelles il avait été expédié de l’usine ou
si l’appareil est utilisé intentionnellement dans un but autre que celui
pour lequel il a été conçu, ou si l’appareil n’est pas maintenu en état
selon les instructions contenues dans ce manuel, il existe alors un
risque d’incendie et/ou de production de monoxyde de carbone se fera,

produitsendommagerontlanitiondelatabledecuisson.Utiliseruniquement
untamponàrécurerdeplastique,non-abrasif.
8. Nepaslaisserséjournersurlessurfacespeintesouémailléesdesaliments
contenant des acides (citron, jus de tomate, vinaigre). Les acides peuvent
dégraderlanitionlustrée.
9. Nepaslaverlessurfacesémailléeschaudes.Laissercessurfacesrefroidir
avant de les nettoyer. On pourrait se brûler ou provoquer la ssuration de
l'émail.
10. Leséjourprolongédeproduitsalimentairesrenverséssurl’acierinoxydable
provoquedeschangementsdeteinteetunecorrosionne.
11. Ne pas laisser des produits alimentaires renversés séjourner sur les
chapeauxdebrûleur.Destachespermanentesresteraientsurleschapeauxde
brûleur.
12. En cas d’obstruction du gicleur ou des orices d’un brûleur, éliminer
prudemment l'obstruction avec un petit l de métal ou une alguille.Assurez-
vous de ne pas élargir les gicleurs ou orices. Ne jamais utiliser une brosse
métallique pour ce nettoyage. Ne jamais utiliser un pinceau à soies fragiles,
dontlessoiespourraientresterbloquéesdanslegicleuroudanslebrûleur;ceci
pourraitensuiteprovoquerunincendieouuneexplosion.

à éliminer le besoin pour l'utilisateur de s'étirer au-dessus d'un des
éléments pour atteindre les boutons.
4. Avant d’insérer la table de cuisson dans la cavité destinée à la recevoir,
déterminerlequeldestroisoperculesarrachablesdelaboîtedesbrûleurs(côté
gauche,côtédroitouarrière)serautilisépourl'acheminementdelacanalisation
d'arrivée de gaz jusqu'au détendeur. Arracher l'opercule de 1 po approprié.
Insérerlatabledecuissondanslacavitéd'installationpréparée;xerlatablede
cuissonauplacardavecquatre(4)visàbois(nonfournies).
5.Acheminerlacanalisationdegazàtraversl'ouverturedelaboîtedesbrûleurs
etraccorderlacanalisationdegazsurleraccordévasé3/8poàl'intérieurdela
boîtedesbrûleurs.Enlerunobturateurdenylonsurlacanalisationdegazet
insérerl'obturateurdansl'ouverturedelaboîtedesbrûleurs.
MISE EN GARDE : Utiliser uniquement du tube métallique rigide ou semi-
rigide pour le raccordement de la cuisinière.
6.Lorsdel’installation,veilleràscellerl'ouverturedepassagedelacanalisation
degazdansleplacard.
MISE EN GARDE : Il est impératif que le placard dans lequel l’appareil
est installé soit séparé des autres appareils, de telle manière que
l'alimentation en air de combustion des brûleurs ne soit jamais
perturbée par le fonctionnement d'un appareil de chauffage à air pulsé
ou son système d'alimentation, ou par toute autre source de pression
d'air positive ou négative. Une dépression créé par un autre appareil à
pulsage d'air peut provoquer un abaissement de la amme autour des
brûleurs de la table de cuisson et dans la table de cuisson, ce qui peut
faire subir des dommages aux brûleurs et à la table de cuisson, ainsi
qu'au véhicule, et éventuellement provoquer des dommages corporels.
Un courant d'air sous pression positive peut provoquer l'extinction
d'un brûleur qui serait ensuite suivie d'un débit de gaz non contrôlé.
Dès que le mélange air/gaz qui se formerait ainsi atteindrait une source
d'inammation quelconque, l'explosion et l'incendie qui en résulteraient
provoqueraient des dommages matériels et corporels, voire un accident
mortel.
7. Vérierquelesboutonsdecommandedesbrûleurssontàlapositiond'arrêt
“Off”.Ouvrirl'arrivéedegaz.Inspectertouteslesconnexionspourrechercherles
fuites.
AVERTISSEMENT: Ne jamais utiliser une amme nue ou autre source
d’inammation lors de l’inspection de recherche des fuites. Appliquer
de l’eau savonneuse sur tous les joints pour déterminer une éventuelle
formation de bulles.
NOTE:Lorsdetouttestdepressurisationdusystèmeàunepressiondetest
supérieure à 1/2 lb/po2 rel., l’appareil doit être déconnecté de la canalisation
d'alimentationengaz.
8. Retirerlaplaquesupérieureetla/lesgrille(s)deleuremballage-Installerla
grillesurlatabledecuisson.
9. Positionnerlaplaquesupérieurepar-dessuslesbrûleurs;immobiliserlaplaque
supérieureavecdeux(2)vismanuellesavecrondelledenylon(fournies).
10. LatabledecuissonàencastrerSuburbanestmaintenantprêteàfonctionner.
