YOU
SMELL GAS
Extinguishany openflame.
Evacuateallpersonsfromthevehicle.
Shut off the gas supply at the gas
containerorsource.
Do nottouch any electrical switch, or
useany phoneor radiointhevehicle.
Do not start the vehicle's engine or
electric generator.
Contact the nearest gas supplier or
qualifiedservicetechnicianfor repairs.
If
you cannot reach a gas supplier or
qualifiedservicetechnician,contactthe
nearestfiredepartment.
Donotturnonthegassupplyuntilthe
gas Ieak(s) has been repaired.
Installation and service must be
performed by a qualified installer,
serviceagency orthe gas
supplier.

PeriodicallyInspect the vent for obstructions

soot.
Soot is
formed
whenevercombustionisincomplete.Thisisyourvisualwarningthat the
fumaceisoperatinginan unsafe manner. Ifsoot
is
present. immediately shut
furnacedown and contactyourdealeror a qualifiedservlca person.

Periodicallyobservethe mainbumerflame loassureitisburningwithahard
blueflame
with
welldefinedbumer
ports
(See
Figure
2).
Ifflameappearsyellow
or bumerhas a lazyflame. shut furnacedown.
It
ispossiblethat bumer needs
cleaning or replaced.
If
excessiverust and corrosionare present
cm
burner
surface,theburnermust
be
thoroughlycleanedor replaced.Theburnermaybe
cleaned usinga sledwire brush and blownclean usinghighcompressionair.
