Manual for the new SunnyTent pole system
You have received a SunnyTent, equipped with our latest pole system. These poles are different from the
poles shown in the installation video. Please read the following information.
Until recently, our tents were supplied with pole sets with metal connectors (sleeves). To make our
SunnyTent even stronger, we have switched to plastic connectors. We also have a new pole manufacturer
in Germany, which supplies us with even stronger poles. All in all, a lot of progress!
•Depending on the size, every SunnyTent comes with 7 to 10 pole SETS, with each set consisting of 9 to 13
pole PARTS.
•These pole PARTS are connected together with plastic connectors. The supplied short connectors (approx.
7 cm. long) are used for this.
•A long plastic connector (approx. 14 cm long) is placed on both ends of the pole SET (i.e. on the first and
last pole PART). We will explain how to do this later.
A. In your SunnyTent box you will find:
B. Instructions
a. Use the correct installation video for your SunnyTent, which can be found on our website. Watch this
first completely before you start installing your SunnyTent. During the installation, watch the video step
by step again.
b. Where the pole sets are slid into the tent in the video, you will proceed slightly differently than as shown
on the video.
One pole SET should be pushed into each pole tunnel. These pole sets consists of 9 (Round M), 11
(Round L), or 13 Round XL) pole parts. You do not assemble the poles SET first, but proceed as
follows:
1. Place 1 long connector on a pole PART. This long connector has a taper inside. This taper is not
in the middle, but about 4 cm from one end and about 10 cm from the other end of the
connector. Push the pole part into the short part (so that the long part remains unfilled; it
must be placed on the hinge anchors later). Push until you feel the pole part clamp on to the
connector.
2. Then slide this pole part into the pole tunnel of the tent, with the connector just attached in front.
Do not slide the pole part too far into the tunnel, because you must first attach the next pole part
to it.
3. To do this, attach a short connector to the next pole part (again until you feel the pole part clamp
into the connector).
4. Then attach this second pole section to the first pole section, using the short connector just
attached.
