WARNING
Before using your dehumidifier, please read this owner’s manual carefully.
This owner’s manual is not a contract and should be used as a reference guide only. We
reserve the right to make technical changes at all times without prior notice.
USE
1. Prevents mildew on clothes (ex. in open-plan storage space)
2. Prevents condensation on ceilings and walls; for maximum results, please keep windows
and doors closed.
3. Protects moisture-sensitive items such as musical instruments, cameras, computers, etc.
4. Eliminates dampness from bookcases and closets; for maximum results, put the
dehumidifier close to the door (open).
SAFETY NOTES
1. Do not plug the unit if the electrical receptacle or the power plug are damaged.
2. Ensure that removable covers and containers are correctly fitted before turning on the unit.
3. Before unplugging the unit, always turn it off.
4. Do not use the dehumidifier in the following areas:
• Next to any source of heat, such as a radiator, an heater, a tumble dryer, etc.
• In an area exposed to direct sunlight.
•Near a bath, a shower enclosure or a swimming pool.
•In areas where oil or water are likely to splash.
•In a greenhouse.
5. Never insert fingers or other foreign objects into grills or openings. Always warn children
of these dangers.
6. Always store the unit upright in order to protect the compressor from damages. If the
unit has to be moved horizontally, wait 24 hours before turning it on.
7. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
8. Do not cover the unit.
9. Do not spray insecticides or any other flammable products on the machine.
10. Do not spray water on or in the dehumidifier.
11. This unit has no serviceable parts (the filter only needs to be regularly cleaned). If the
unit or the power supply cord are damaged, contact SUNRISE TRADEX Customer Service.
12. Empty the water tank before moving the dehumidifier.
13. This dehumidifier has a built-in automatic defrosting function, which starts when the
evaporator produces frost.

PARTS IDENTIFICATION
ON/OFF : it starts the unit in dehumidifying mode (60% humidity level) ; press on
the button again and the dehumidifier will stop.
CONTINUE dehumidifying mode: continuous dehumidifying with no humidity level
setting. When you press on this button, the LED light (#6) goes on.
TURBO pilot light (#10): high fan speed is on and the fan speed is high.
NORMAL pilot light (#11): low fan speed is on and the fan speed is low.
I / O light: this pilot light flashes when the unit is turned on. The light is
permanently on (no flashing) when the unit is running and it goes out when the
dehumidifier is turned off.
CONTINUE pilot light: it is on when the unit is on dehumidifying mode.
FULL pilot light:it is on when the water tank is full; the dehumidifier stops.

INSTALLATION
Install the mobile dehumidifier on a flat surface, in a spacious location where the air outlets
will not be covered up or blocked. Do not install underneath desks or inside closets where the
airflow is limited. Make sure there are no debris falling on top of the unit.
For a maximum efficiency of the dehu-
midifier, keep a clearance of at least
20 cm front and on top of the unit
(keep 20 cm at the back of the unit in
continuous dehumidifying mode).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• This dehumidifier is designed to operate in a room temperature ranging from 13° C to 35°C;
working this unit over or below this temperature range could damage the compressor.
• If the unit has been turned off and is to be immediately switched on again, allow approxi-
mately three minutes before the normal operation resumes.
• Do not connect the dehumidifier to a multiple outlet plug used for other electrical appliances.
• Choose an appropriate location with an easy access to an electrical outlet.
• Plug the unit into a 115V-60Hz grounded outlet.
• Make sure the water tank is correctly positioned otherwise the unit will not operate properly.
TURNING THE UNIT “ON” or “OFF”
1.Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet of proper rating. The dehumidifier’s computer
system will perform a self-check. If everything is normal, the I / O pilot light flashes.
Push on the button, the unit starts running in dehumidifying mode.
Press on or to set the degree of humidity.
2.Push on the button and the unit runs in continuous dehumidifying mode; the and
buttons are disabled.
3.Push on the button to turn off the dehumidifier (you do not need to unplug the unit
unless you are not to use it for a long period of time).

IMPORTANT : MAKE SURE THE EXTERNAL DRAINAGE HOSE (NOT PROVIDED
WITH THE UNIT) IS ALWAYS POSITIONED LOWER THAN THE
WATER OUTPUT OF THE UNIT.
WATER TANK
• Water drops in the tank; when it is full, the unit stops and the FULL / PLEIN pilot
light is on and P2 code will show on the LED screen.
• To avoid water spillage, do not remove the water tank while the unit is running.
• To empty the water tank, remove it as shown below, empty the tank and place it
back into the unit, making sure it is correctly positioned.
• The dehumidifier resumes operation once the water tank is put back into the unit.
CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE
• Remove the plastic cover on the back of the unit and fix the threaded hose coupling
provided with the unit (as shown on picture below).
• Remove the water tank and slide the 6” hose provided with the unit onto the connector
located inside the unit.
• The hose should slide on smoothly without bending or kinking.
• For the external drain, take a hose of the right length (not provided with the unit) and fix
one end to the threaded hose coupling.
• Place the other end of the hose into a drain such as a floor drain or else.

MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT • Always unplug the dehumidifier before cleaning it.
• Do not use gas, paint thinner or other chemical products to clean the
unit – it could damage it.
• Do not clean the dehumidifier directly under a faucet or with a garden
hose – its electrical components could be damaged and cause electric
shocks.
AIR FILTER
In order to maximize the efficiency of the dehumidifier, clean the air filter at least every two
weeks or more frequently if you have animals or if the unit is installed in a dusty area.
AIR FILTER REMOVAL
Pull the air filter out as shown in Figure A.
AIR FILTER CLEANIING
Clean the air filter using clear and lukewarm water, let it dry completely and put the filter
back as shown in Figure C.
UNIT ENCLOSURE
Use a soft and clean cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use water to prevent from shock hazard
and damaging the unit.
WATER TANK
Clean the water tank using warm water (approx. 40° C) and a soft detergent. Rinse it and let
it dry completely. Put the tank back and
make sure it is correctly positioned.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Before contacting the manufacturer or Sunrise Tradex Customer Service, please check the fol-
lowing:

NOTE : When the LED screen shows P1, the unit is in defrost mode. The compressor has
stopped, but the fan continues to run. At the end of the cycle, the compressor
resumes.

LIMITED WARRANTY
This dehumidifier is covered by a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, if
used for the applications specified in this owner’s manual, for a period of TWO (2) years
from the date of original purchase in Canada.
Note : The compressor is covered by a 5-year limited warranty.
During the warranty period, if the dehumidifier fails under normal use, SUNRISE TRADEX
CORP. will, at its option, either repair the unit or replace it, free of charge, within a
reasonable period of time after the dehumidifier is returned.
As a condition to any warranty service obligation, the customer must present this warranty
certificate along with the proof of purchase.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER :
1. Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the dehumidifier that are not caused by materials or
workmanship defect.
2. Damage caused by misuse, tampering or failure to follow the operating and maintenance
instructions provided in this owner’s manual.
3. Damage to the finish of the unit enclosure or to other outer features caused by wear.
4. The filter.
5. Damage caused by repairs or modifications to the humidifier made by any person not duly
authorized by SUNRISE TRADEX CORP.
6. Insurance and freight costs for the warranty service.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY,
ARE LIMITED TO A TWO YEAR (2) PERIOD COVERED BY THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRAN-
TY. SUNRISE TRADEX CORP. DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCI-
DENTAL DAMAGES AND, IN NO EVENT, SHALL SUNRISE TRADEX CORP. LIABILITY
EXCEEED THE RETAIL VALUE OF THE HUMIDIFIER FOR BREACH OF ANY WRITTEN OR
IMPLIED WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THIS MOBILE DEHUMIDIFIER.
Keep this owner’s manual along with your proof of purchase in a safe
place for future reference. You must provide proof of purchase for
warranty service.
