IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - This appliance is intended for use in a domestic environment
Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electrical shocks
or other injury to persons or property.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
1. Before operating the dehumidifier remove the unit from its packaging, and check it is
in good condition.
2. DO NOT let children play with the packaging, for example plastic bags.
3. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after it has
malfunctioned, been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Return the dehumidifier to
an authorised service facility for examination and repair to avoid a hazard.
4. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit
as this may void warranty.
5. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the appliance's rated specification.
6. When recharging the dehumidifier DO NOT sit the dehumidifier on soft surfaces, like
a bed, where openings may become blocked. DO NOT COVER.
7. Always unplug the dehumidifier when not in use. To disconnect from the power
supply, grip the plug and pull from the power socket. Never pull by the cord.
8. Do not recharge in wet or damp locations. Neverleave the charging dehumidifier
where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. DO NOT recharge in
bathrooms or outdoors. When not in use always store in a dry area.

9. When recharging your dehumidifier do not let the mains cord hang over the worktop
or similar surface.
10. If your dehumidifier is damaged and the crystals are spilt they must be collected into
a bag and disposed of. There is no risk from accidentally touching the crystals,
although we recommend that you wash your hands afterwards. DO NOT eat the
crystals, so take care if the crystals are spilt and children are present. If the crystals
are ingested seek medical advice. It is not possible to refill the dehumidifier.
11. If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the Manufacturer or an
authorised service centre in order to avoid a hazard.
BS PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Wiring Instructions: Should it be necessary to change the plug please note the wires
in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to the terminal that is marked
with the letter Nor coloured BLACK.
2. The BROWN wire is the LIVE and must be connected to the terminal that is marked with
the letter Lor coloured RED.
3. Neither wire is to be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter Eor or
coloured GREEN OR GREEN/YELLOW.
4. Always ensure that the cord grip is positioned and fastened correctly.
If a 13A (BS 1363) fused plug is used it must be fitted with a 3A fuse. If in doubt consult a
qualified electrician.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Connect the Power lead (4) to the Power socket (3) and connect the plug to the mains socket.
Before using your Rechargeable Mini Dehumidifier for the first time you must charge the unit
for 10 to 15 hours, or until the crystals viewed through the viewing window (1) are blue.
Remove the plug from the socket and the power lead from the power socket.
Your Dehumidifier can now be placed in your chosen location and will begin absorbing water
immediately. Monitor the remaining capacity of the crystals by comparing the colour of the
crystals through the viewing window (1) with the Capacity Guide (2). Once the crystals turn
pink it is time to recharge your dehumidifier again.
Your rechargeable dehumidifier can be used in wardrobes and drawers to prevent damp
damaging your clothes, linens etc. You can also use it anywhere else where a drier
environment is required.
MAINTENANCE
• Before you clean the appliance remove the plug from the power socket if charging.
• Use a damp cloth to wipe off the Rechargeable Mini Dehumidifier housing.
• Do not use water, detergents, abrasive cleaning liquids or chemical agents
(Alcohol, Petrol etc...) to clean the appliance.

SERVICE & WARRANTY
• Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug, after the unit malfunctions, or has
been dropped or damaged. Return the dehumidifier to an authorised service facility for
examination and repair to avoid a hazard.
• For your convenience record the complete model number and product name (located on
the Product Identification Plate), the date you purchased the product and your purchase
receipt as proof of purchase.
• To ensure your product is covered by warranty, the complete faulty product together with
your purchase receipt should be returned to your retailer.
This product has been manufactured to comply with EEC Directives 73/23/EEC and
89/336/EEC.
Please read these instructions carefully before use retain for future reference.

other than those recommended, at voltages other than the voltage indicated on the unit, or
