zNote 1: There could be bias oblique on the preview screen when your computer
system is operated under a high load (Recording and realtime preview of 8
channels at the same time which is under the setup of 720 x 240 resolution,15 fps
or more. These conditions mean the data flow on the PCI channel was
overloaded and data has been lost .It was recommanded that you DO NOT add
any other PCI interface cards besides our SV1010 video compression card.
Individual VGA Card and SATA HD Control Card please use other interface
besides PCI, e.g. PCI-E interface or PCI-X interface.
zNote 2: Please disable the function of Hyper Threading Technology on the
CPU setup page of BIOS, or the PC will crash more often.
zNote 3: The PC system should have minimum three (3) partitions. The first
partition (C:\) is reserved for the Operation System, IGUANA software and other
application software, minimum two partitions are required for IGUANA recording
files. The second HD for recording should be divided into at least two partitions. If
only one HD is available, it should be divided into at least three partitions.

BIOS Setup
zNote 4: It needs very high system resources to operate the SV101 Iguana
recording system. We recommended that you DO NOT install any other
unnecessary applications besides the OS and SV101 recording system to avoid
the recording system not working properly.

The function will be activated when the switch is set on the position
of ON. The default is as the above figure shows.
Note: The function of 2x two times digital zoom can be used in the
applications where the area of interest is narrow and long. 2x digital
zoom can be activated by switching SW4 to ON position. (Please
refer to chapter 7, Camera Module Installation Tips.)

Note: The video is output to RCA video output terminal when SW1 or
SW3 is switched to Normal;The video is output to outside video
terminal when SW1 or SW3 switch to AVOUT.
3.1.5 Cable
There are two kinds of cables used by SV1018 Camera Module: 1. Signal
cable 2. AC Power supply cable
1. )Signal cable: Rated temperature 80℃CAT 5E, there are 3 kinds of CAT
5E cable: UTP、FTP、SFTP, it is recommended to use FTP or above 。PE
jacket and steel wire reinforcing are needed for outdoor applications.

round shaped cable
Note: The button case of SV1018 camera module uses Lapp, PG-9 cable

If the camera module is NTSC video standard, please switch the Pin 4 to OFF.
If the camera module is PAL video standard, please witch the Pin 4 to On
When installing the first SV1010-MPEG card, switch Pin 1,2,3 to OFF.
When installing the second SV1010-MPEG card, switch Pin 1 to ON, Pin 2, 3 to
OFF.

4.2 SV1010 PC Side Connector Connection
There are two ways to connect the SV1010 PC side Connector: One is to use
the screwed terminals, the other way is to use the RJ-45 connector. Two
connectors can not be used at the same time.
When the PC is located in a humid or salty environment, metal might erode or
oxidize, the RJ-45 connector might become unreliable. It is recommended that the
screwed terminals be used in this situation.

network application. Wires need to be arranged as follows to function well.
