Away Arming
The ARM Light will turn on The ARM1 Light will turn on

♪ Leave the premises within the Exit time. Exit beeping will continue until Exit time expires.

Away
Information:
•Away arming will activate all zones of your alarm security system except bypassed zones. All interior and
external perimeters are armed. Use this mode when leaving your premises.
•Before arming your system to Away mode, all zones should be closed. There should not be any movement in the
rooms protected by motion detectors and each doors or windows protected by reed switches should be properly
closed.
•Key-switch input is available on the control panel and can be used to toggle between Arm and Disarm.
•Your system can be configured to Arm periodically at a customized time and also Disarm at another time.
•f an illegal code is entered to Arm in Away mode, the system responds by a long error beep.
•f an attempt to Arm a previously armed system, a long error beep is issued.
•The system cannot Arm while in other operation mode. Press [ ∗ ] + [ ∗ ] to exit from other operation mode first.
Options to be programme by Installer:
•Personal Open/Close report:
f anyone of User-6 to User-10 arms in Away mode, the system will dial the first programmed telephone
number (usually the Master User’s contact number) to report of the Arm activity to the intended receiving
party. Personal reporting format must be enabled first.
•No Force Arm:
The system will not be allowed to Arm via keypad if an nstant zone is left open but not if it is a delay zone. A
long error beep is issued to warn you of such situation. f you want Force Arm function, any zones left
opened after arming will be automatically bypassed and are reported to CMS as zone bypass and to
Personal telephone as zone open. The system will resume monitoring the zone once it is closed again for
the duration of that armed period.
•Force Arm Siren Warning:
The siren will continuously sound or squawk to indicate a Force Arm situation. You should Disarm the panel,
check the premises and then Arm again. Continual warnings could mean there is a problem with a detection
device and that particular zone may have to be manually bypassed.
•Away Squawk:
Siren will output two squawks upon arming the system in Away mode and output a single squawk when the
system is disarmed.
•No Arm f Battery Low:
You may not Arm the system if the back-up battery is determined as low and A.C power is not present.
•Exit Beep:
Keypad beeper will beep continuously for the duration of Exit time.

Home Arming

Home
Information:
•Home Arming will only activate external perimeter portion of your alarm security system. nterior protection is not
armed, which allows movement within premises without causing alarm. Use this mode when you are in the
premises.
•Your installer must program which zones to be active in Home arming mode.
•f an illegal code is entered to Arm in Home mode, the system responds by a long error beep.
•f an attempt to Arm a previously armed system, a long error beep is issued.
•The system cannot Arm in Home mode while in other operation mode. Press [ ∗ ] + [ ∗ ] to exit from other
operation mode.

System Disarm
Press [ User Co e ]
☼ The L NE, BATT, AC, ARM1, ARM2 lights will blink once.
The ARM light will turn off. The ARM1 light will turn off.
System Disarm
Information:
•Disarming the alarm security system will deactivate all the burglary zones of the system.
•Enter the premises through a programmed delay zone and disarm the system before Entry time is over. f the
system is not disarmed by the end of the Entry time, an alarm will occur.
•During disarmed mode, any violated zones will not enable burglary alarm except 24-hour zone. The 24-hour
zones are active irrespective whether the system is under armed or disarmed status.
•Disarming the system also resets triggered siren and strobe light.
•Key-switch input is available on the control panel and can be used to toggle the system to Arm and Disarm
alternately.
•A previously armed system would not Disarm if an illegal User code is entered. You may have up to 20 tries of
continual key entry of the correct 4-digit code in sequence before the keypad goes into a lock-out period of 10
seconds.
Options to be programme by Installer:
•Personal Open/Close report:
f anyone from User-6 to User-10 disarms, the system dials the first programmed telephone number to report
of the Disarm activity and which User code was used to the intended receiving party. Personal reporting
format must be enabled first.
•Entry Beep:
Keypad beeper will beep continuously for the duration of Entry time.
•Chime:
A beep to indicate a zone is opened during system Disarm state. This function is temporarily canceled
during Arm state.

Bypass Zone
(1) mean total zone bypass The respective zone 1 light will turn on to indicate the
. zone is bypassed.

Remark:
Press digit ‘0’ to bypass or un-bypass zone 10.
Bypass, Zone X bypass
Information:
•Bypass is performed to eliminate burglary zones that are not ready or faulty from activating burglary alarm.
Protection to a bypassed zone is temporarily switched off until the next system arming.
•To un-bypass previously bypassed zones, simply Disarm the system to cancel bypass state of all zones or enter
bypass mode and press the corresponding bypassed zone number to toggle its bypass state to un-bypass state.
After un-bypassing a zone, the bypass indication will be removed from that particular zone.
•No bypass or un-bypass of zones is allowed during system Arm.
•The system cannot enter Bypass mode while in other operation mode. Press [ ∗ ] + [ ∗ ] to exit from other
operation mode.

Review Event Memory

Review
Information:
•n this mode, the keypad can display all faulted zones after an alarm condition had occurred. The zone faults will
remain in the system memory until it is cleared by entering digit ‘0’ or when the next arming occurs or after
system reset.
•You may not enter Review event mode via keypad if the system is in Arm state.
•The system cannot enter Review event memory mode while in other operation mode. Press [ ∗ ] + [ ∗ ] to exit
from other operation mode.

Walk-Test
☼ The L NE light will blink to indicate Walk-test mode.
The respective zone light will turn on to indicate the zone
is tested.
1) Enter [ ∗ ] + [ 5 ] + [ User Co e ]
2) Trigger all used zones.
3) Press [ 1 ] to activate siren
[ 2 ] to activate strobe light
Press the same digit again to switch off respective alarm output.
4) Press [ ∗ ] to exit Walk-test mode
The L NE light will turn off to indicate exit from Walk-test mode.
Walk Test
Information:
•Walk-test allows all zones, siren and strobe to be tested for functionality. Perform Walk-test periodically to
ensure the system is in a working condition.
•Ensure all zones are closed and there is no one within the premises before conducting Walk-test.
•Walk-test mode is not allowed during system Arm.
System Test
Enter [ ∗ ] + [ 8 ] + [ User Co e ]

Medical
Information:
•The Fire, Panic, Medical alarms will activate the system dialler to report of an emergency as well as activating
the siren and strobe light output.
•The Fire, Panic and Medical alarms can be activated at all times, during system Arm or Disarm.
•You can enter your User code to cancel the triggered siren and strobe light output.
•Key-switch input is available on the control panel and can be used to activate Panic alarm if enabled.
•f your system cannot perform Fire, Panic, Medical alarm functions means that the system is in other
operation mode. Press [ ∗ ] + [ ∗ ] to exit from other operation mode before attempting emergency alarm.

Duress Alarm

Remark:
Duress code = Last digit of User code increase by 1
E.g1. User code = 1234
Duress code = 1235
E.g2. User code = 9999
Duress code = 9990
Information:
•Duress code is used to Disarm the system and transmit an emergency signal to the Central Monitoring Station
or Personal telephone number discreetly to indicate there is a duress situation. This is important if you are being
forced to Disarm your system against your will.
•Duress alarm can also be activated during Disarm state.
•For CMS report format, any User code used to activate Duress alarm will be reported.
•For Personal report format, only User-6 to User-10 codes can activate Duress alarm and the emergency will be
reported to the first Personal telephone number. Duress signal and which User code used to Disarm the system
will be announced. User-1 to User-5 codes used for Duress purpose will only Disarm the system.
•Key-switch input is available on the control panel and can be used to activate Duress alarm if enabled. This
method will not Disarm a previously armed system but will report to a Central Monitoring Station or Personal
telephone number discreetly.

Home Automation,Device X off/on
Information:
•Do not enter digits ‘0’ and ‘9’ for home automation control as they are reserved for other functions.
•With Home automation function, you can activate the automated output to switch on or off lights and electrical
appliances.
•You are not allowed to enter Home automation mode via keypad if the system is armed but you can control the
outputs if you call into the system or when the system calls out.
•The system cannot enter Home automation mode while in other operation mode. Press [ ∗ ] + [ ∗ ] to exit from
other operation mode.
•The last Home automation output available on your system can be configured to periodically switch on at a
customized time and also switch off at another time.
Options to be programme by Installer:
•Latch or 1 second Momentary output:
Each Home automation output can be customized to trigger momentary for 1 second or toggled to switch on
and off.
•Alarm assigned to Home Automation Output:
Home automation output can be automatically activated in the event of an alarm

Information:
•All timer values must be programmed in a 3-digit format.
Eg. Wanted Entry Time = 60 seconds, Program value = ‘060’
•Program all Timers within the allowed time range only. The functions will not operate if an invalid time is
programmed. Refer to the above table.
•Auto daily test function can only be enabled by your installer.
•Program Hour and Minute value in 24-Hour format.
•System time (address locations 517’ and ‘518’) is programmed upon the first powering up of your system.
Program the current time in hour and minutes to address locations ‘517’ and 518’ respectively.
Example:
•Program System time as 2.30 p.m. (24-Hour format)
At address location ‘517’, enter Hour value ‘014’ and at address location ‘518’, enter Minute value ‘030’
•Program Auto Arm time at 12.00 a.m. (24-Hour format)
At address location ‘521’, enter Hour value ‘000’ and at address location ‘522’, enter Minute value ‘000’
•Program Auto daily test time as 9.58 a.m. (24-Hour format)

Activate Automatic Arm Away Function

Information:
•To re-enable nstaller code use, enter value ‘014’.
•This is a safety measure whereby no other codes are allowed to program your system other than the users of
this security alarm system.

Call-In Voice Menu

6 Home automation
Control Home automation output. Enter the output
number you wish to control. Press [ ∗ ] to exit this
mode.
7 System status Announce system status.
8 Panic Switch On Siren and Strobe light only.
∗Hang up End Call-in function and hang up.
Information:
•The system answers a call from caller when it detects telephone line ringing and the number of rings reaches
the number programmed in the system by your installer.
•The caller will be prompted for his/her User code. The system will enter a main menu. A list of functions will be
prompted. After performing your desired function, press [ ∗ ] to hang-up.
•Access to the main menu will be limited to priority Users only. User-6 to User-10 (non priority users) codes will
be denied access and prompted as illegal code.
•The system will hang up the call when attempts to enter the correct User code exceeds 8 times. Each incorrect
entry of user code will cause a voice prompt indicating incorrect code entry.
•f the system does not receive any command key entry in the Main menu for periods longer than 10 seconds, it
will hang up immediately.
•t is recommended to check system status first before proceeding to perform other function so to have a clearer
understanding of the system’s current state such Arm state, Disarm state, opened zones, bypassed zones, etc.
•You may not enter Bypass mode if your system is armed. Disarm first and then enter Bypass mode.
•The Call-in function can be de-activated. nform your installer to cancel this function.

•Call-Out function refers to Personal reporting format as part of the features available in your alarm security
system. Please check with your installer if this feature is enabled.

system will only call the next number when user immediately ends the call after listening to Arm/Disarm status or
alarm event or zone open status.
•f the call to the first programmed telephone number has not been picked up, the system will cancel the call and
dial the next telephone number in line.
•The system will not perform Call-out function once the maximum number of group dial attempts programmed in
the system is reached and no User/receiving party have picked up the calls.
•f the system does not receive any command key entry in the Main menu for periods longer than 10 seconds, it
will hang up immediately.
•You may only bypass zones if your system is in Disarm state.
Options to be programme by Installer:
•Call attempts before Fail-to-Communicate:
The system will activate siren and strobe light outputs once it fails to establish communication with a
Personal telephone number after the programmed number of failed calling attempts has been reached.
