WARNING – Failure to Read and Follow the Warnings

BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO LIFT A LOAD:
Make sure the hoist is securely aached on both ends to rm
aachment points.
Make sure the load is adequately and securely connected to
the hook aached to the end of the cable wire and the latch
on the hook is securely closed.
Secure all loose clothing.
Before and aer each use of the hoist, carefully examine the
hoist, cable wire and hook for damage, parcularly bends,
cracks, or other damage to the hoist and fraying or other
damage to the cable wire and hook.
When operang the hoist, keep hands on the hoist handle and
away from the cable wire and cable wire sprocket.
INTRODUCTION
The ATP1 Ac Pro ulity li is rated to li loads up to and
including 250 pounds. With its ease of installaon and use,
the Ac Pro makes dicult, me consuming installaons fast
and safe.
ADJUSTABLE WIDTH FROM 14” TO 24”
Simple adjustment from 14” to 24” to accommodate most
residenal and commercial joist distances.
20 FOOT CABLE LENGTH
With 20 feet of wire rope the Ac Pro can li the load up over
one story

INTEGRATED LOCKING HOOK
The locking hook ensures that the load cannot slip from the
cable.
RATCHET TYPE HOIST
The ratcheng hoist makes for easy liing and automacally
holds the load in place when there is a pause in the li.
STURDY STEEL CONSTRUCTION
The sturdy steel construcon of the Ac Pro provides a
maximum load of 250 pounds.
TWO (2) EQUIPMENT STRAPS INCLUDED
The use of both straps keeps the load steady in two axes,
prevenng any accidental slip when liing the load.
CARRYING CASE
The carrying case is included for safely storing the Ac Pro
when not in use.
COMPLIANCE
The Ac Pro has been designed to comply with all applicable
secons of ASME standard B30.21 (2005) for a wire rope type
manually lever operated hoist.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
INSPECTION
Before use, make sure to check the following for safe operaon.
• Check to make sure the wire rope is in good condion.
• Check to make sure the length of the wire rope is sucient
to rig the load. The drum must never be completely
unwound. Make sure there are 2 to 3 coils of wire rope
remaining on the drum.
• Make sure that no obstacle will interfere with the user’s
arm when turning the crank.
• Make sure that there are no obstacles to interfere with the
load when lowering or liing it.
• Ensure that there is no person(s) below the load when
lowering or liing.
• Check to ensure the hook is in good condion.
• Check the condion of the straps
• Check to make sure the wooden joists are in good condion.
If the joists are not in good condion, it can compromise
the load rang. DO NOT secure the Ac Pro to wooden
joists that have cracks in them.

MOUNTING THE ATTIC PRO ON JOISTS
• Adjust the width of the device to accommodate the
joists that it will be aached to. The Ac Pro can be
adjusted from 14” to 24”.
• Make sure the Ac Pro rests on the underside of the
joist, with the wire rope in a perpendicular direcon to
the ground.
• Tighten both integrated mounng screws. Make sure
that the spike fully engages the wooden joist. The
at surface of the spiked end should be ush with the
joist.
• Drive each of the 4 included wood screws through
each of the holes on both mounng plates into the
wooden joist.
STRAPPING THE EQUIPMENT TO BE LOWERED
AND/ OR LIFTED
• Use each strap and place it completely around the
equipment to be lowered and/ or lied.
• Make sure the straps are always perpendicular to
one another to avoid the possibility of the equipment
slipping out of the straps.
• Be sure to install the straps so the equipment is centered
with equal weight distribuon. The equipment should
not hang at an angle when being lied or lowered.

LOWERING OR LIFTING A LOAD
• Make sure that the integrated hook is securely aached
to both straps.
• Turn the crank in the desired direcon to raise or lower
the equipment.
• Use the shi key to change from one direcon to the
other (lower or li).
• The ratcheng hoist will hold its posion when there
is a pause in lowering or liing the equipment.
• Avoid allowing the crank to “free wheel” while in use.
This is dangerous and can also damage the Ac Pro.
CARE & STORAGE
The Ac Pro ATP1 is designed to provide long and rugged
service.
• The hoist should be inspected and cleaned before and
aer each use.
• Do not allow the hoist (crank) to “free wheel” while in
use.
• Always store the Ac Pro in its so carrying case
(included).
