TRAC-Guard padlock overview
The Supra®TRACcess®TRAC-Guard™ padlock is a Bluetooth®enabled padlock
thatprovides a exible access management solution for remote site locations.
The Supra TRACcess TRAC-Guard padlock can be mounted to most interior
orexteriorcomponents, such as cabinets, gates, fences, hatches, and covers.
The instructions in this manual are applicable to the use of a Supra TRACcess
TRAC-Guard padlock. Supra is not responsible for replacing padlock components
damaged or destroyed during installation.

Accessories Description Picture (SKU)
Shackle replacement:
2” shackle or 6” shackle
The shackle is a U-shaped piece of metal
used to fasten objects.
(2” SKU: 002263)

Battery The lithium battery is a long-life battery
(up to ve years) used to power the padlock.
Note: Supra recommends 3V CR2 lithium
industrial batteries as replacements.
Battery removal tool Tool aids in removal of cylinder cover to
replace low battery.

Cable lanyard The stainless steel cable lanyard can be
attached to the padlock and installation site
(box, gate, fence, etc.) to help prevent loss of
the padlock after it’s opened.

Cylinder cover The cylinder cover is used to protect the inner
components of the cylinder.

Shackle removal tool The shackle removal tool is a 5/64” (2 mm)
hex wrench.

Shackle shroud The shackle shroud is available for 2”
(50.8 mm) padlock only and is used to
provide extra resistance to cutting.

Install or replace the battery
Note : The battery replacement tool (sold separately) is required to install or replace batteries.
1. Loosen the cylinder cover 2. Detach the cylinder cover
Align and insert both tips of the battery removable tool into two of
the holes located along the external knob ring, then apply enough
pressure with the battery removable tool to maintain insertions
while turning the cylinder cover counterclockwise until loose
The cylinder cover down (relative to lock body)
3. Insert the battery 4. Reattach the cylinder cover
Remove the existing battery, if needed, then insert the new battery
with the positive end pointing down (relative to lock body) and the
white strap goes under the battery
Align the outer alignment mark on the cylinder cover with the
alignment nodule of the cylinder, then push the cylinder up (relative
to lock body) into position

5. Tighten the cylinder cover 6. Verify correct attachment
Align an insert both tips of the battery removal tool into two of the
holes located along the external knob ring, then apply enough
pressure with the battery removal tool to maintain insertions while
turning the cylinder cover clockwise until tight.
Make sure the cylinder cover is ush with the knob ring and do a
pull test to make sure the cylinder is attached
Install TRACcess eKEY app
1. Download and install the TRACcess eKEY app
from your device app store.
2. Open the TRACcess eKEY app and enter
the authorization code.
3. Open the TRACcess eKEY app and select Settings 4. Select Install Mode then Save
5. Select Install 6. Select Are You Connecting to a TRAC-Guard Device then enter PIN
7. Turn on the padlock’s Bluetooth by pressing the center
of the cylinder’s bottom and simultaneously rotating the
cylinder either clockwise or counterclockwise
8. Select Begin, then after the success message appears,
select Done
9. Select Ignore or Assign Site ID to assign an optional site ID

Release the shackle (open padlock)
Open the Padlock with eKEY
1. Turn on the padlock’s Bluetooth by pressing the center of the cylinder’s bottom and simultaneously rotating the cylinder either
clockwise or counterclockwise.
Note : A LED at the bottom of the cylinder will ash green after the Bluetooth has been successfully activated.
2. Open the TRACcess eKEY app and select Open Device.
3. Enter PIN and Access Code if needed.
4. Select Begin.
5. Wait for success message to appear then rotate padlock cylinder clockwise until shackle releases.
Remove and reinstall the shackle
Remove the shackle
1. Use the shackle removal tool to rotate the hex screw
counterclockwise until removed
2. Tap or shake the padlock until the pin that was held in place by
the hex screw drops out.
Note: The rst time a pin is removed may require rigorous tapping or
shaking.
3. Open the padlock (see “Release the Shackle [Open Padlock]”
for details) and pull the shackle out of the padlock body when the
cylinder is in the release shackle position (maximum clockwise
rotation)
Note: If the shackle spring pops out, reinsert the spring into theshackle
hole nearest to the hex screw hole.
Reinstall the shackle
1. Insert the long side of the shackle into the shackle hole nearest
to the hex screw hole and the short side of the shackle into the
other shackle hole, then press the shackle all the way down to
lock into place.
2. Reinsert the pin with the pointed end toward the padlock body.
3. Use the shackle removal tool to rotate the hex screw clockwise
until tight.
