1.1 PREFACE
Susi Air is engaged in the carriage of air charter under the terms and conditions of
CASR Part 135. Air Operator Certificate Number: AOC/135-028 issued by Indonesian
Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The Maintenance Program for Pilatus Porter PC-6
has been prepared in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulations, Parts 135.367
and is not contrary to any applicable Regulation, or the Company’s Operations
Specifications or operating certificate.
The Maintenance Program has been compiled for the use and guidance of all personnel
responsible for performing maintenance and/or overhaul on aircraft. Each manual is
controlled and assigned to specific individual’s aircraft type as necessary.
This Maintenance Program is to be used in conjunction with other manuals,
manufactures’ maintenance and overhaul manuals and in accordance with applicable
Aviation Regulations. The Maintenance Program shall provide direction for use with
aircraft, engine, and component maintenance and overhaul manuals. It also provides
guidelines on how to fulfill requirements outlined in CASR’s, AD’s, SB’s, etc. and the
proper completion of the forms related to and distribution of the necessary reports in
conjunction with the CASR’s. If any material described in this Manual is in conflict with
the CASR, the CASR shall take priority. Manufacturer’s manuals are also included and
are considered part of the Company manual.
All maintenance employees are required to adhere to the instructions contained in this
manual and follow the procedures outlined. In the event procedures in the
manufacturers’ publications differ from this manual, the manufacturer’s manual prevails.
All personnel are encouraged to submit suggestions and recommendations to improve
utilization and technical quality of the manual.
1.2 INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this Maintenance Program is to provide official guide regarding the proper
procedures and practices to be followed in conducting maintenance under the Air Operator
Certificate issued by Directorate General of Civil Aviation in compliance with Civil Aviation
Safety Regulation (CASR) Part 135 and related Parts.
Copies of this Maintenance Program shall be distributed to all out base utilizing Pilatus PC-6
Aircraft. Technical Publication shall determine the distribution of the manual as per
Document Distribution Manual.
It shall be their responsibility of Maintenance Manager and Chief Inspector to assure that all
mechanic, supervisors and inspectors are formally trained, kept current and familiar with the
contents of this manual.

This Maintenance Program shall be subjected to revision as necessary. It shall be the
responsibility of the person to whom this manual is issued to maintain it and insert all
amendments and revisions. Such amendments and revisions shall be issued by whom this
manual is issued in the form of new revised pages.
1.3 MANUAL REVISION AND DISTRIBUTION PROCEDURE
1.3.1 Revision Procedures
Each Maintenance Program shall have a control number and assignment entry on
the manual cover page. A master list containing the manual number, location and
revision status shall be kept in the Maintenance Department.
Chief Inspector shall periodically review the Maintenance Program with all relevant
manufacture’s manuals. These reviews shall either confirm that the manual still
current and valid for the Air Operator Certificate use, or shall be identified needed
change.
This Maintenance Program and revision shall be approved by the Maintenance
Manager, and forward to DGCA for approval. Upon acceptance by DGCA, sufficient
copies shall be made and distributed the revision page to each manual holder.
A list of effective pages shall be issued with each revision so each manual can be
checked and kept current.
1.3.2 Record of Revisions
“Keep the Maintenance Program up to date by inserting revisions
immediately”
Revisions for the Maintenance Program shall be distributed with transmittal form
containing instructions for inserting and/ or removal of pages.
The transmittal forms of a Work Orders Publication (WOP) are numbered
consecutively and upon receipt and filling, the date of insertion and the name of the
person filling it shall be entered to the corresponding number in the record below.
The list of effective pages shall be included in order to continuously check at any
time whether the Maintenance Program updated. The list of effective pages shall be
revised upon revision with each page.
1.3.3 Distribution Procedure
The Maintenance Program shall be distributed to maintenance bases
personnel involved and responsible for Maintenance Department activities as
the Controlled Copy. Technical Publications shall distribute this Maintenance
Program to the listed functions by Drive Susi Air.

1.4 SIGNATURE POLICY
1.4.1 Signing
The employee’s first name initial and full last name is required for signing of
work accomplished. Procedures on some forms shall require an Authorization
Card Number to be included with the signature. The instructions for completing
these forms contain this information. Work accomplished by Approved
Maintenance Organization (AMO) may be signed for in accordance with the
AMO and Procedures as acceptable to Susi Air’s Chief Inspector.
1.4.2 Corrections
To correct an error, draw a single line through the error and initial the correction.
Do not use white out for corrections. All entries on all forms shall be made by
printing except for required signatures. Black ink is preferred, blue ink is
permissible.
1.5 INSPECTION TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
The following are terms and definitions related to this Maintenance Program:
CHECK
Compare a measurement of time, pressure, temperature,
resistance, dimension or other quantity with a specific figure
for that measurement.
EXAMINE
Look at the condition of an item for damage, etc., as
follows:
Chafing
Contamination
Corrosion
Cracks
Deterioration
Discoloration due to overheating
Distortion
Faulty or broken locking devices.
Fractures
Fraying
Insecurity of attachment
Loose clips or fasteners
Loose or missing rivets
Leaks
Scoring
Wear
REMOVE
Disconnect a component or system and take it away from
its correct position.
INSTALL
Put a component in its correct position and attach it
correctly.
REPLACE
Remove an item and install a new or serviceable item in its
place.

DISCONNECT Loosen and remove cables, pipes or controls.
FUNCTIONAL TEST Use of
special equipment to make sure that a component

OPERATIONAL TEST
Show by normal operation and with no special equipment
or measurements, that a system or component operates
correctly.
LUBRICATE Apply lubricant.
FILL
Fill to the correct level, pressure or quantity. Where
necessary, this also includes:
Removal of caps or covers,
Examination of caps, covers, gaskets, seals, etc.
Installation of caps, covers, etc.
Installation of locking devices if applicable.
