Safety Precautions
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Voltages exist in the machine when connected to mains
power. Make sure you turn the power off before cleaning
or servicing the machine.
Caution!
Cautions indicate a hazard to the machine, but not a danger to
personnel. They clearly state the nature of the hazard and
how to avoid it. They appear at their points of application in
this guide.
– Only use this product for its intended purpose. The
manufacturer is not liable for any damage or loss resulting
from improper use.
– Remove coins before transporting the unit. If possible, use
the original package.
– Do not hold or carry the unit from its harness.
– Do not disconnect the harness with the power On.
– Do not alter the construction of the unit to a greater extent
than the modifications described in this guide.

Installation
Caution!
The unit must be installed by qualified personnel.
a) Turn the power Off.
b) Remove the coin validator from the main chassis using the blue
latch next to the coin return lever.
c) Connect the coin validator to the coin changer with the ribbon
cable.
d) Hang the coin changer from the three mounting points and
fasten the mounting screws.
e) Reinsert the coin validator until it clicks into position.
Caution!
Make sure there is minimum a 3 mm gap between the return
lever and its actuator.
f) Connect the coin changer harness to the machine or bill
validator Y-harness.
g) Turn the power On.

Connecting to the Device
a) If the LED indicator above the Wi-Fi button is off, press the
button until it lights up.
b) Wait until the LED is displaying a steady green light.
c) Use your mobile phone or laptop to connect to the device:
– If the Wi-Fi is switched off on your mobile phone or laptop,
activate it.
– Connect to the network: CX - Serial number.
– Start you browser and enter the following IP-address:
192.168.0.50, or use the QR-code on the machine display to
connect.
d) The following will be displayed. Press Continue.
e) You will see the start up menu. Press Menu.
f) Press Menu again until you see the below Coin Changer menu.

Controlled Filling or Emptying the
Coin Cassette
To Refill:
a) From the start up menu, press Menu until you see the Coin
Changer menu.
b) Press F (Filling).
c) Insert coins from the Coin Insert Funnel.
To Empty:
a) From the start up menu, press Menu until you see the Coin
Changer menu.
b) Press C (Service).
c) With the arrow buttons Aand B, step up or down to select
Empty Tubes.
d) Press E.

Manual Filling the Coin Cassette
Please refer to the Technical Handbook to verify if your configuration is supporting the manual filling.
a) Remove the cassette by pulling the latch up and outwards (A).
The cassette comes straight out (B).
b) Fill manually with necessary coins.
Caution!
Do not refill the tubes above the maximum level (see markings on the rear of the coin cassette). Otherwise coins could fall into the
coin changer when reinstalling the coin cassette and cause damage to the device or affect proper operation.
c) Reinsert the cassette straight in and down until it clicks in position (C).
The device is ready for operation. However, performing a test vend is recommended.

Troubleshooting
The Vantage Connect module provides you with detailed
information for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
To have an immediate feedback, refer to the bi-colour LED Device
Status and the following table with all possible conditions.
To retrieve complete status, activate Wi-Fi.
The LED indicator will display any of the following colours:
– Yellow, wait for Wi-Fi to be activated.
– Green, Wi-Fi active, machine operational.
– Red, indicates error, enter Diagnostics menu.
a) To enter the Diagnostics, press Menu on the start up menu
until you see the Coin changer menu.
b) Press D (Diagnostic).
c) Select the relevant module.
d) Check the status for this and all other modules comprising the
unit.
e) Return to main menu/operation mode.
LED Device Status Description
Off Changer is not powered up
Permanent green Proper behaviour
Blinking green Changer is in refill mode
1 Yellow flash Return lever is pressed
2 Yellow flashes Jam in a tube
3 Yellow flashes Changer inhibited by VMC or low voltage
level
1 Red flash Coin blocked in validator/sorting area, or
dirty sensors
2 Red flashes Erroneous configuration or problem in tube
board (interface)
3 Red flashes No communication with VMC

Cleaning
The coin path of the changer needs regular cleaning. The intervals
may vary due to factors such as operation frequency and
environment.
Cleaning aids:
• Compressed air
•Smallbrush
• Slightly wet cloth (lukewarm water)
Caution!
Do not spray cleaning solutions.
Under no circumstances may the coin changer be immersed or
the cloth be so wet that fluids runs into the device. Otherwise
the PCB may be damaged. Do not use any solvents or scouring
agents which affects the plastic surfaces.
To clean the coin path, flight deck and sorter cover:
a) Turn the power Off.
b) Unlatch sorter cover (A) and swing it open (B).
c) Open flight deck at the insert funnel and hold it open (C).
d) Remove any debris. Dust off any accumulation with a small
brush or compressed air.
e) Clean the complete coin path, front and back, with a slightly
wet cloth.
f) Allow to dry.
g) Close flight deck and latch sorter cover.
h) Remove the coin tubes and clean the tube sensor area (D).
i) Reinsert the coin tubes and turn power On.
