FOREWORD
This vehicle has been designed and produced utilizing
Suzuki’s most modern technology. The finest product, how-
ever, cannot perform properly unless it is correctly assem-
bled and serviced. This set-up manual has been produced
to aid you in properly assembling and servicing this vehicle.
Please review this set-up manual carefully before perform-
ing any work. Take special care to properly perform the
required assembly and servicing marked by either a Warn-
ing or a Caution. Failure to follow the directions in either of
these two (2) categories could lead to serious problems.

This set-up manual is based on a vehicle of standard speci-
fication. Some minor differences from this manual may be
found in other specifications.
AVANT-PROPOS
Cette véhicule a été conçue et produite en utilisant la tech-
nologie la plus récente de e Suzuki. Le meilleur produit,
cependant, ne peut pas fonctionner de manière satisfai-
sante à moins qu’il ne soit correctement assemblé et entre-
tenu. Ce manuel d’assemblage a été rédigé pour vous aider
à effecteur correctement l’assemblage et l’entretien de cette
véhicule.
Prière de se familiariser avec ce manuel d’assemblage
avant de commencer les travaux. Faire particulièrement
attention à effectuer correctement les travaux d’assemblage
et d’entretien indiqués sous les titres Avertissement et
Attention. Ne pas suivre les directives de ces deux (2) caté-
gories pourrait causer de sérieux problèmes. Les titres
et ont pour but
d’insister sur certains points et ils ont les significations sui-
vantes:
Indique un danger qui pourrait provoquer la mort ou
une blessure.
Indique un danger qui pourrait provoquer un endomma-
gement du véhicule.
Ce manuel d’assemblage est basé sur la véhicule aux
caractéristiques standard. Dans certains cas, certains diffé-
rences mineures peuvent apparaître par rapport à ce
manuel.

FRONT/AVANT REAR/ARRIERE
UNCRATING THE VEHICLE
Remove the carton.
Remove the bolts and brackets.
A: Bolt
B: Bracket
C: Vinyl tube
Loosen the front brake master cylinder mounting
bolts. Remove the master cylinder from the bracket.

A: Bolt
B: Front brake master cylinder
Remove the bolts from the crate, then lift the steel
frame to separate it from the base of the crate.
NOTE:
The brackets, bolts and vinyl tube are no
longer needed and these may be discarded.
Keep the position of front brake master cylin-
der with its cap facing upwards until it is
installed.

DEBALLAGE DU VEHICULE
Enlever le carton.
Enlever les boulons et les supports.
A: Boulon
B: Support
C: Tube en vinyle
Desserrer les boulons de montage du maître-cylindre de
frein avant. Déposer le maître-cylindre fixé sur le support.
A: Boulon
B: Maître-cylindre de frein avant
Enlever les boulons de la caisse ensuite soulever le cadre
en acier pour le séparer de la base de la caisse.
NOTE:
Les supports, les boulons et le tube en vinyle sont
désormais inutiles et peuvent être mis au rebut.
Maintenir le maître-cylindre de frein avant avec son
capuchon du réservoir tourné vers le haut jusqu’à
sa remise en place.

Before assembling the vehicle, thoroughly under-
stand the “Safety Check Out”described on page
41. After completion of assembly, carefully check
the vehicle referring to the “Safety Check Out”,
then deliver the vehicle to the customer.

bien se familiariser avec la “Vérifications de
sécurité” décrites àla page 42. Après avoir effec-
tuél’assemblage, soigneusement vérifier la véhi-
cule en se référant àla “Vérifications de sécurité”
avant de livrer la véhicule au client.

HANDLEBARS
Loosen the handlebar clamp bolts.
A: Handlebar clamp bolt

Tighten the handlebar clamp bolts to the specified torque.


FRONT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER
Remove the bolts and holder from the front brake
master cylinder.

NOTE:
Align the dot mark on the handlebars with the
mating surface of the front side of left clamp.
NOTE:
To install the handlebars correctly, first tighten
the bolt

Make sure that the clamp has no clearance at
the front side as shown in the illustration.

ASSEMBLAGE
GUIDON
Desserrer les boulons de bridage du guidon.

Serrer les boulons de bridage du guidon au couple de ser-
rage spécifié.

MAITRE-CYLINDRE DE FREIN AVANT
Déposer les boulons et le support du maître-cylindre de
frein avant.

Aligner le point de repère se trouvant sur le guidon
avec la surface de contact du demi-palier gauche.
NOTE: Pour monter le guidon correctement, com-
mencer par serrer le boulon

Align the dot mark on the handlebars with the master
cylinder-to-holder fitting surface. Tighten the master
cylinder mounting bolts to the specified torque.

Connect the front brake light switch lead wires cou-
pler to the brake light switch.

NOTE: To install the holder correctly, first

NOTE:
Install the holder in position according to the
mark “UP”.
Make sure that the holder has no clearance at
the upper side as shown.
Check for brake fluid leakage.
The line drawings on pages 37, 38, 39 and 40
show the proper routing of the control cables,
hose and wiring. Refer to them in addition to
following the instructions carefully.
