GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
This Suzuki digital piano will supply you with years of musical enjoyment if you follow the simple rules listed below.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
When using electrical products, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, includ-
ing the following.
SAFETY
Power Source - The product should always be
connected to a power supply of the type
described in the operating instructions or as
marked on the product.
Periods of Nonuse - The power-supply cord of
the product should be unplugged from the outlet
when left unused for a long period of time.
Disposal Notice
Should this product become damaged beyond
repair, or for some reason its useful life is
considered to be at an end, please observe all
local, state, and federal regulations that relate
to the disposal of product that contain lead,
batteries or plastics.
SERVICE AND MODIFICATION
This product should be serviced by qualified
service personnel when,
• the power supply cord or the plug has been
damaged,
• liquid has been spattered into the unit or it
has been exposed to rain,
•the instrument does not appear to operate
normally or exhibits a marked change in
performance, or
• the instrument has been dropped or the
cabinet has been damaged.
Do not attempt to open the piano or make any
change in the circuits or parts of the unit.
CONNECTION
Beforeconnectingthe instrument to other
electroniccomponents,turn off the power for all
components.Beforeturningthepoweronoroff
forall components, set all volume levels to
minimum. Also, be sure to set the volumes of
allcomponents at their minimum levelsand
graduallyraisethevolumecontrolswhile
playing the instrument to set the desired
listeninglevel.
CAUTION
Always follow the basic precautions listed
below, to avoid the possibility of physical
damage to the instrument or other property,
precautions include, but are not limited to,
the following:
• When removing the electric plug from the
instrument or an outlet, always hold the
plug itself and not the cord. Pulling on the
cord can damage it.
• Do not put burning items, such as
candles, on the unit. A burning item may fall
overandcauseafire.
• Ifthe power cord or plug becomesfrayed
or damaged, or if there is a sudden loss of
sound during use of the instrument, or if any
unusualsmellsor smoke should appear,
immediatelyturnoff the power switch,
disconnect the electric plug from the outlet
andhave the instrument inspected bya
Suzukiservicepersonal.
POWER
Turnthepowerswitchoffwhenthe
instrument is not in use.
Toavoiddamagetotheinstrumentandother
devices to which it is connected, turn the
powerswitchesofallrelateddevicesoff
priortoconnectionor disconnection of MIDI
cables.
Turnthe power off if the main cable is
damagedor the instrument is spattered with
liquid.
Do not switch the unit on and off in quick
succession, this places an undue load on
theelectroniccomponents.
UnplugtheACpowercordduringan
electrical storm.
AvoidpluggingtheACpowercordintothe
same AC outlet as appliances with high
power consumption, such as electric
heatersorrefrigerators.
Donotdefeat the purpose of the polarized or
grounding-typeplug.Apolarizedplughas
twobladeswithone wider than the other. A
groundingtypeplughas two blades and
thirdgroundingprong.Thewide blade or
thirdprongareforyoursafety.Iftheprovided
plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an
electricianforreplacementofthe obsolete
outlet.
